The purpose of Islamic education is essentially a form of learners in order to grow as a generation "khoiru ummah" (the faithful, and devoted, mature in attitude, mentality, intellect and spirit of independent living, creative, dynamic and morals karimah) the main problem is how menggembangkan agencies -lembaga Islamic education so that they can become "fertile ground" persemian a new generation of powerful and loaded by the target formations and educational values ​​of the Qur'an.The system of Islamic education at the time of Rasulullah SAW, has the goal of forming a personal protégé of individual Muslim to become good in life so getting welfare and tranquility of life derived from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Rasulullah SAW.In the learning system at the time of Rasulullah SAW there are some pereode the mecca and educational material madinah. Pembinaan Islam in Mecca emphasized on Aqidah guidance in order to inculcate the values ​​of monotheism to their souls monotheism rays radiated and reflected in the actions and behavior in the everyday life, while the issue of Islamic education in the medina is essentially continuing education of education monotheism in Mecca that is coaching in the field of religious, especially kaitanya in worship, education ahlak, health education, and educational relation with the community, including in the field of social education, and politics so imbued with the teachings of monotheism, so that the social and political behavior is a reflection and the reflection of monotheism.

This study aims to determine what Islamic educational values are contained in the Upin and Ipin cartoons during the Ramadan episode. This research is a library research (library research). The method used to collect data is the documentation method. Analysis of the data that researchers use is content analysis, namely research conducted on information, which is documented in recordings, both in pictures, sounds and writings. Then a descriptive interpretation is carried out by providing an overview and interpretation as well as a description of the data that has been collected . The results of this study indicate that Upin and Ipin cartoons on the episode of the Ramadan theme have educational values contained therein. The educational values contained in the Upin and Ipin cartoon episodes of the theme of Ramadan include: First, the values of religious education which include, mahdhah worship and the value of social worship education kemasarakatan. Second, universal education values include, peace, respect, love, tolerance, responsibility, happiness, cooperation, honesty, humility, freedom, simplicity, unity

Islamic education starting from the foundational and operational, can not be solved properly. This condition draws attention among practitioners and managers of Islamic education to be neatly disentangled and can be found the tip of the base. Therefore, this paper briefly aims to parse the problem, through a transformative leadership approach based on social values. The significance of transformative leadership, as a conceptual and transformational framework in the management of education through the roles and actions of a leader. Internalization of transformative leadership is expected to be a positive energy to influence individual social action in education. The transformative leadership is based on divine and prophetic values, just as the prophetic mission becomes the dominant force in managing Islamic education and legitimizing cultural power. Such power is the social roles of the individual by inspiring, enlightening, empowering, inspiring without indoctrinating, awakening without harm, arousing without compelling and inviting without reign, through morality in achieving the aims of the organization. Thus the portrait of transformative leadership must have the ability to influence individual actions and behavior through trait aprroach, behavior approach, power-influence approach, situational approach and integrative approach.

Keperawatan merupakan salah satu bentuk pelayanan kesehatan. Selain diharapkan meningkatkan dan mengembangkan potensi dalam pelayanan kesehatan, dalam konteks Keberagaman (multikultural) perawat juga dituntut mampu memberikan pelayanan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif  dengan pendekatan etnografi yang mengambil setting di Akademi Keperawatan Pemerintah Kabupaten Gresik. Teknik pengambilan data yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini secara berhubungan dengan teori nilai pendidikan agama Islam berbasis multikultural dalam dunia keperawatan sedangkan secara praktis berimplikasi terhadap Akademi Keperawatan Pemerintah Kabupaten Gresik dalam rangka pembinaan mahasiswa yang beraneka sebagai persiapan profesi sebagai perawat harus memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkah laku, sikap dan pola pikir. Demikian juga bagi pihak pemerintah baik pemerintah daerah, provinsi maupun pusat dalam  pengembangan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam multikultural.Kata kunci: keperawatan, multikultural, nilai-nilai, pelayanan, Islam The study of Multicultural Islamic Education in the multicultural society’s social interaction relationship in Laban illustrates the social interactions of the people of Laban which have educational values of children and succeding generations. The findings of this study are; 1) the existance of the multicultural character of the people of Laban through the habit of imitating the prevailing traditions of ancestors and imitating what parents do and commanded. 2) there is no balance between literal / textual with contextual learning. From these findings, can be taken lesson in the education theory as follows: 1) multiculturalism in the character of society will be better if more often conduct social interaction activities. 2) There is a need for a balance between text and context to produce moderate education. Because the education that is conduct through experience and giving examples of reality will produce a realistic understanding, but there is no detailed explanation yet. Meanwhile, the development of education conducted through the understanding and delivery of material according to the literature will generate theoretical knowledge, has not guaranteed appropriate in its implementation in reality.Keywords: nursing, multicultural, values, service, Islam

Penelitian tentang Pendidikan Agama Islam Multikultural dalam hubungan interaksi sosial masyarakat multikultural di Laban ini menggambarkan tentang interaksi sosial masyarakat Laban yang memiliki nilai pendidikan terhadap anak-anak dan generasi penerus.Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah; 1) adanya pembentukan karakter multikultural masyarakat Laban melalui kebiasaan meniru tradisi yang berlaku dari nenek moyang dan meniru apa yang dilakukan dan diperintahkan orang tua. 2) belum terdapat keseimbangan antara pembelajaran literal/tekstual, dengan kontekstual. Dari temuan tersebut, dapat diambil pelajaran dalam pengembangan teori pendidikan sebagai berikut: 1) multikulturalisme dalam karakter masyarakat akan lebih baik jika lebih sering mengadakan kegiatan interaksi sosial bersama. 2) perlu adanya keseimbangan antara teks dan konteks untuk menghasilkan pendidikan yang moderat. Karena pendidikan yang dilaksanakan melalui pengalaman dan pemberian contoh dari realitas akan menghasilkan pengertian yang realistis, namun belum terdapat penjelasan yang rinci. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara: 1) kreativitas guru PAI terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama dan Budi Pekerti , 2) motivasi kerja guru PAI terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama dan Budi Pekerti , dan 3) kreativitas dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama dan Budi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi korelasional dengan melibatkan 33 orang sampel yang dipilih secara dengan metode sensus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket/kuesioner. Teknikanalisis data diawali dengan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan linieritas. Uji hipotesis menggunakanuji regresi sederhana danuji regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ; 1) Kreativitas guru berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. 2) motivasi kerja guru berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. 3) kreativitas guru dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai dari ketiga variabel tersebut hanya dapat dimasukkan dalam kategori sedang, sehingga untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam mengajar perlu diperhatikan faktor-faktor lain seperti: gaji, jaminan kerja, jaminan hari tua, penghargaan atas prestasi kerja, dan sebagainya. Kata kunci: kreativitas, motivasi, mutupembelajaran Abstract [The Relationship Between Teachers’ Creativity and Motivation Toward Learning Improvement]. This research aim at determine the correlation between the creativity of teachers on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior, the work motivation of teachers on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior, and the creativity and the work motivation of eachers on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior. This research employed a method of correlation description with 33 Islamic education teacher were selected as sample by means of census sampling. Technique of collecting data employed questionnaire. Technique of data analysis began with prerequisite of normality and linearity. Hypothesis used test of simple regression and double regression.The study revealed that teacher creativity affects on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior, as well as teacher work motivation affects on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior. Futhermore, analysis show that teacher creativity as well as teacher work motivation affects simultaneously on the learning quality of Islamic Education. In conclusion, the average value of those three variables may be only included into medium category. Thus, to increase teacher performance, it needs other factors, such as; salary, job guarantee, pension, appreciation of work achievement, etc. Keywords: Creativity, Motivation, Learning Quality

The aim of the research “Historical Memory in the Works of the New Generation of Latvian Theater Artists: The Example of “The Flea Market of the Souls” is to focus on the current but at the same time little discussed topic in Latvian theater – the change of generations and the social processes connected to it, that are expressed on the level of world views, experiences, intergenerational relationships. Most directly, these changes are reflected in the phenomenon of historical memory. The concept of “postmemory” was defined by German professor Marianne Hirsch in 1992, suggesting that future generations are closely related to the personal and collective cultural traumas of previous generations, which are passing on the past experience through historical memory, thus affecting the present. Grotesque, self-irony, and focusing on socio-political, provocative questions and themes are the connecting point of the generation of young Latvian playwrights born in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including such personalities as Jānis Balodis, Rasa Bugavičute-Pēce, Matīss Gricmanis, Justīne Kļava, etc. However, unlike Matīss Gricmanis or Janis Balodis who represent the aesthetics of political theater, in Justīne Kļava’s works, sociopolitical processes become the background of a generally humanistic study of the relationships between generations. This theme is represented not only in “The Flea Market of the Souls”, but also in other plays, like “Jubilee ‘98” and “Club “Paradise””. The tendency to investigate the traces left by the Soviet heritage allows to define these works as autobiographical researches of the identity of the post-Soviet generation, analyzing life in today's Latvia in terms of historical memory. Using the semiotic, hermeneutic, phenomenological approach, the play “The Flea Market of the Souls” and its production in Dirty Deal Teatro (2017) are analyzed as one of the most vivid works reflecting the phenomenon of historical memory in recent Latvian original drama.

Chapter 10 is devoted to the role of emotions or pathos. Pathos was the term ordinarily used to denote the notion of audience. For the first time since Aristotle, emotions receive a full role in a treatise on rhetoric. The responses of the audience are modulated by its emotions. What is their nature and how precisely do they operate? The areas of political and legal rhetoric are examined here in the light of an original view of the theory of distance: values at greater distance become passions at short distance, and this is one of the features which demarcates politics from law. Law and politics are not merely argumentative, nor are they entirely emotional. The norms they codify are often implicit in their shaping of our mutual expectations and behavior in the social world.

This chapter presents the Distributed Adaptive Control (DAC) theory of the mind and brain of living machines. DAC provides an explanatory framework for biological brains and an integration framework for synthetic ones. DAC builds on several themes presented in the handbook: it integrates different perspectives on mind and brain, exemplifies the synthetic method in understanding living machines, answers well-defined constraints faced by living machines, and provides a route for the convergent validation of anatomy, physiology, and behavior in our explanation of biological living machines. DAC addresses the fundamental question of how a living machine can obtain, retain, and express valid knowledge of its world. We look at the core components of DAC, specific benchmarks derived from the engagement with the physical and the social world (the H4W and the H5W problems) in foraging and human–robot interaction tasks. Lastly we address how DAC targets the UTEM benchmark and the relation with contemporary developments in AI.

The most serious global banking crisis in living memory has given rise to one of the most substantial changes in the regulatory regime of banks. While not all central banks have responsibility for regulation, because they are almost universally responsible for systemic stability, they have an interest in bank regulation. Two core objectives of regulation are discussed: lowering the probability of bank failures and minimizing the social costs of failures that do occur. The underlying culture of banking creates business standards and employee attitudes and behavior. There are limits to what regulation can achieve if the underlying cultures of regulated firms are hazardous. There are limits to what can be achieved through detailed, prescriptive, and complex rules, and when, because of what is termed the endogeneity problem, rules escalation raises issues of proportionality, a case is made for banking culture to become a supervisory issue.

Technology has given rise to online behaviors such as sexting. It is important that we examine predictors of such behavior in order to understand who is more likely to sext and thus inform intervention aimed at sexting awareness. We used the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to examine sexting beliefs and behavior. Participants (n = 418; 70.3% women) completed questionnaires assessing attitudes (instrumental and affective), subjective norms (injunctive and descriptive), control perceptions (self-efficacy and controllability) and intentions toward sexting. Specific sexting beliefs (fun/carefree beliefs, perceived risks and relational expectations) were also measured and sexting behavior reported. Relationship status, instrumental attitude, injunctive norm, descriptive norm and self-efficacy were associated with sexting intentions. Relationship status, intentions and self-efficacy related to sexting behavior. Results provide insight into the social-cognitive factors related to individuals’ sexting behavior and bring us closer to understanding what beliefs predict the behavior.
