The study examined some aspects that affect the motivation of medical students to study and the formation of a part of professional competencies aimed at assessing the ability to work with patients in practice. The aim of the work was to assess the views of KSMU students about the importance of the educational process, motives that affect the success in obtaining education, professional prospects, career growth. The study was carried out by the method of questioning 68 4th year students and 85 6th year students of the medical and preventive medicine faculty. To study the motivational sphere of the personality, we used the methodology "Motivation for studying at a university". To study the formation of a part of professional competencies (communicative and educational), a questionnaire developed by us was used, aimed at assessing the ability to work with patients in practice. The results of the study showed that students adequately chose their profession and are satisfied with the process of studying at the university. However, senior students have higher rates. Moreover, they have different motivation for learning. The dominance of mastering the profession under the influence of the psychological aspect is becoming stronger among sixth-year students. When analyzing the questionnaire on the degree of professional competence, it was revealed that the outpatient service and district doctors remain in secondary roles, forced to concede laurels and money to high-tech hospitals and narrow-profile specialists, and university students are a product of time. Thus, the teacher of the clinical department has a great responsibility in the formation of professional competencies and strengthening the student's motivation for learning.

Актуальность статьи связана с усилением интереса к проблемам формирования профессиональной компетентности будущих педагогов в вузе. Раскрываются содержание и направления системы профессиональных компетенций будущего педагога, обосновывают необходимость новых педагогических технологий, способствующих эффективному формированию профессиональных компетенций будущего педагога. Аnnotation: The article discusses the modern view on the professional competence of future university teachers. The content and directions of the system of professional competencies of the future teacher are revealed, they justify the need for new pedagogical technologies that contribute to the effective formation of the professional competencies of the future teacher. The main ones, in our opinion, are: the use in the educational process of the university of pedagogical technologies that model future professional activities; mastering the components of professional competence in the course of teaching practice. The relevance of the article is associated with increased interest in the problems of the formation of professional competence of future teachers at the university. The aim of the present study was to examine the impact of microteaching on professional competence among four pre-service student teachers enrolled in the program of special education for students of learning disabilities in the Faculty of Education. The researchers indicated the theoretical conceptions of professional competencies, pre-service training, practicum in learning disabilities, and microteaching. The study conducted through three stages: baseline, intervention, and follow up. The researchers used a checklist as the tool of the study. The study was conducted during the field training of the subjects as they were asked to prepare and carry out the entire individual teaching lesson in the resource rooms affiliated to the public education schools. Microteaching sessions were also administrated at the university campus in Najran. The results of the study indicated significant improvements in the professional competencies among the four pre- service students as it was moderate at baseline (68%) for the four participating pre-service students. The subjects maintained the targeted skills in one measurement and after two weeks of the study (89%) indicating the significance of the microteaching in developing pre- service teachers required skills.

Discussed are problems of higher education modernization in order to improve education quality and get competent specialists. Recommendations for the educational process reform in higher institutions are closely connected with state exams, curricula and work programs, and financing issues, and the duration of study at the university. It is necessary to amend both the tactics and the strategy of higher education, and first and foremost, it is obligatory to stop using falsification of figures and mark the student accordingly to his or her progress. This will allow the student to create self-motivation for learning, based on the elimination of irresponsibility and slovenly work, permissiveness in receiving knowledge. In higher education, the principle "From each person according to his or her ability, to each person according to his or her work" should be a priority

The article deals with the problem of motivation in the student sphere. If we talk about the motivation of students, it represents the processes, methods and means of inducing them to cognitive activity, active development of the content of education. As motives can act in conjunction emotions and aspirations, interests and needs, ideals and attitudes. Therefore, motives are complex dynamic systems in which choice and decision-making, analysis and evaluation of choice are carried out. Motivation for students is the most effective way to improve the learning process. Motives are the driving forces of the learning process and assimilation of the material. Motivation for learning is a rather complicated and ambiguous process of changing the attitude of the individual, both to a separate subject of study and to the entire educational process. Motivation is the main driving force in human behavior and activity, including in the process of forming a future professional. Therefore, the question of incentives and motives of educational and professional activity of students becomes especially important.

Abstract The higher education in Russia is now divided into two stages: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Regretfully, the educational process of baccalaureate students has revealed unsatisfactory preparation of young specialists, who have to undergo further training and adaptation to a high-tech industry. The lack of professional competencies of graduating students is rather disappointing for employers. Therefore, it becomes vital to improve the educational process and implement significant changes to the methodological system of education. It is necessary to encompass information technologies. This study is devoted to the educational program for mechanical engineers, which has been developed according to the main employers requirements. The effectiveness of this training approach was proved during the research experiment. It proved the hypothesis that the improved model of student training: leads to a more active and effective studying process, incorporates an individual approach to each student, and contributes to a more efficient development of professional competencies.

The problem of alienation of youth from traditional cultural and moral values is one of the urgent in the modern information world. For a comprehensive solution to this problem in the educational process of the university, it is necessary to determine the risk factors emergence for the moral alienation of students. The article reveals the content of the main risk groups: 1) external risks caused by the general cultural tendencies of the modern world (the sociocultural crisis of the information civilization associated with the loss of a stable worldview by a person); 2) information risks arising from the use of information technology (massive impact of rapidly growing volumes of heterogeneous information; attractiveness of the virtual world); 3) organizational and pedagogical risks caused by negative phenomena in the educational space (low level of professional competence; irrational organization of the educational process); 4) psychological risks associated with factors of causing psychological damage to students in the process of interpersonal relations (professional burnout of a teacher; authoritarian management style; psychological violence, low self-esteem of a student). The results of the study allow us to identify the main areas of pedagogical activity on the prevention of moral alienation of students at a university.

At the present stage a multi-level educational system allows creating favorable conditions for students’ research activities. The master’s programme is aimed at training scientific personnel ready for productive research activities in the new conditions. We substantiate the role of research work of undergraduates in development of their professional competence. The analysis of the experience in organizing the research work of the Institute of Culture and Arts master’s degree students of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, based on a practical approach to research activity, allowed us to conclude the integrated approach of the research work of “Social and Cultural Activity” department master’s degree students, that creates conditions for the implementation of our projects and a comprehensive analysis of the results obtained on the basis of theoretical and practical developments. Providing wide opportunities for scientific research of students in educational process the university promotes scientific inquiry, activation of students’ creative potential, forming skills of independent scientific research work. A competent organization of research work of students of the master’s degree helps them to master the theory, forms the qualities of the researcher, and introduces them to the future profession. Engaging of the master’s degree students in the study allows them to design their own professional activity, analyze the results of the work, motivates learning activity. Based on the analysis of the scientific activity of the students, we developed and presented recommendations on improving the research activities of students. The application of the recommendations will allow the teachers of the university to actively support the research activities of master’s degree students, develop their professional competencies, create a situation of success in the chosen professional area and predict further scientific research.

Summary. The article substantiates the relevance of an adaptive approach to creating conditions in the educational process for the practical self-realization of students, considered as the implementation of the educational and research abilities of future teacher-programmers, and the formation of professional competencies. In the modern high-tech world, when digital technologies become the environment for the existence of future specialists with new opportunities for their interactions and the desire to solve problems through IT technologies, one of the trends in the development of the education system is to improve its quality, «... includes adaptive processes». Adaptive processes in the design of educational programs are based on the formation of a digital educational space, the availability of online training, the possibility of organizing mixed training, and building individual educational activities. Adaptive approaches are considered as personification of the practical-oriented component of educational activity, development of value orientations, attitudes, as a person-oriented interaction of a teacher-student and a weak impact, which under certain conditions can give a strong resonance. Adaptive approaches are presented as a system of flexible management methods that contribute to the practical realization of the interests, abilities and educational needs of students aimed at forming the basic professional competencies of future teacher-programmers. Adaptive approaches in learning management are considered as the personalization of distance activities, as the process of managing the personal and professional development of students; a process that contributes to the desired learning outcomes; the process of using management impacts. The adaptive interaction between the teacher and the student includes pedagogical support, allows you to focus on the abilities and professional preferences of future teacher-programmers, equalize their opportunities for self-realization, self-organization, self-development and personalize the accumulation of universal and professional competencies. The article notes that the widespread use of adaptive approaches has led to a shift in emphasis in education to the achievement of a practical result in the formation of professional competencies, which are not only the result of training, but also a resource for further quality education, training specialists for independent professional activities, the ability to quickly adapt to new socio-professional challenges and a willingness to study during life. Abstract. The article considers the need to introduce the latest computer technologies into the educational process to contribute to the formation and provision of professional competencies of applicants of education studying the specialty “Accounting and Taxation.” Modern information technologies used in the educational space are considered an essential factor in the interaction between teacher and students. Distance education flexibility, i.e., the ability to study individually, choosing the time, place, and tempo of learning, are precisely the advantages, which are considered while organizing the educational process. The task of academic staff is to provide the students with maximum opportunities to remotely process the proposed material and perform all control exercises conveniently in compliance with the requirements for specific tasks. Distance education can be used as the main form of education for preparing students of the second level of education studying at the specialty “Accounting and Taxation”. To investigate the information support of professional competencies of applicants of education studying at “Accounting and Taxation”, we analyzed the practical experience of bachelors and masters studying the following accounting disciplines at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University with the use of distance education methods: “Managerial Accounting”, “Forensic accounting expertise”, “Accounting in foreign countries”, “Accounting and Taxation of international transactions”, “Accounting in enterprise management”, “Applied econometrics”, “International standards of accounting and financial reporting”, “Financial reporting consolidation”.  The educational material allocation and access to it took place using standard software tools. The type of courses and features of the work organization depends on the format of a course chosen at its creation and adjustment stage. During the development of distance learning courses in the modern educational space, more attention is paid to the information environment service – “Moodle”.

The article presents a methodology for assessing the level of formation professional competencies in university digital environment. The proposed methodology includes principles that should be taken into account when assessing learning outcomes in the digital environment, a three-step approach to building the educational process using adaptive e-learning course (AELC), and a model for assessing the formation of professional competencies in AELC. The scientific novelty of the methodology is constructing a model that includes formalizing the structure of an adaptive e-learning course and means of assessing labor functions: knowledge, skills and labor actions according to the cognitive, praxiological and motivational/axiological components of competency. The formalization of the structure and evaluation tools of the adaptive e-learning course was carried out to assess the results of the formation of professional competencies. Formulas are proposed for assessing professional competency for individual modules of the discipline, for the discipline and for the educational program as a whole, implemented in digital environment. The results of testing the methodology for assessing the formation of professional competencies in teaching students of the direction of training “Information Systems and Technologies” in School of Space and Information Technologies of Siberian Federal University are presented. The approach allows us to minimize the subjectivity of the teacher in assessing student learning outcomes, and also allows for automated assessment of the level of formation professional competencies in the digital environment and, according to the new education standards (FSES 3++), provides sufficient objectivity in assessing formation level. In the future, the proposed method can be extended to estimate the level of formation of universal and general professional competencies of the curriculum and to become the universal tool to assess the level of training of the graduates.
