Development of Pascal Principle Activities Using The Stem Approach and Undergraduate Physics Students’ Perception Towards The Activities

The aim of this study was to develop Pascal Principle teaching and learning activities using the STEM approach and to determine the content validity and undergraduate Physics students’ perception of the activities. This study was a developmental research using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model to develop the activities. The population was 135 physics undergraduates in their fifth and seventh semester of study from one of the public universities in Malaysia. Data was collected using a questionnaire that was adapted from a standardised instrument and that was distributed using Google Form to the population together with a link to the activities. The response rate was 29.6% (40 respondents). Perception data were analysed descriptively using percentage for content, language, design, and interest. Result shows that the experts were 95.5% in agreement about the content validity of the activities. For the perception data, 98.5%, 99.5%, and 99.0% students have positive perceptions towards the content, language, and design, respectively. In addition, 96.3% show interest in the activities. In conclusion, the research succeeded in developing validated teaching and learning activities that use the STEM approach and that were perceived positively by physics undergraduates. The materials for the activities can thus be used as a teaching and learning resource in the classroom.

Abstrak  Media interaktif berbasis PowerPoint adalah media pembelajaran kembangan, berisi materi pembelajaran IPA yang dirancang tersistem untuk peserta didik di kelas 3 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah melalui program dasar powerpoint dan dikembangkan dengan ispring, agar kegiatan belajar mengajar  dapat lebih efektif dan maksimal meskipun  pembelajaran di lakukan tanpa tatap muka atau pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE dari tahap Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate (Branch, 2009).  yg melalui beberapa tahap yaitu analisis, desain (perancangan), pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Uji coba media pembelajaran interaktif didukung dengan penilaian kevalidan tim ahli, dan data angket kevalidan dari para responden yaitu guru guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, dan berdasarkan hasil penelitian 76% media pembelajaran ini layak untuk digunakan. Kata kunci : media interaktif, berbasis powerpoint, Android. Abstract PowerPoint-based interactive media is a developed learning media, containing science learning materials that are systematically designed for students in grade 3 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through the basic powerpoint program and developed with ispring, so that teaching and learning activities can be more effective and maximal even though learning is done without face-to-face or distance learning. This research includes research and development (Research and Development), using the ADDIE research model from the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate stages (Branch, 2009). which goes through several stages, namely analysis, design (design), development, implementation, and evaluation. Interactive learning media trials are supported by a team of expert validity assessments, and validity questionnaire data from respondents, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers, and based on research results 76% of this learning media is feasible to use. The objectives of the study are (1) to produce student worksheets based on APOS Theory for Math lessons in Class X Senior High School which is in line with the 2013 Curriculum; (2) to evaluate the effectivity of the student worksheets based on APOS Theory, in terms of the activity and result of learning Matrix. The results of the study are (1) the development of the worksheets (according to APOS Theory) were carried out through five stages, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation; (2) the assessments performed by media experts, material specialists and subject teachers showed that the worksheets developed are feasible and could be used for students of Class X Senior High School; (3) the responses given by the students towards the worksheets were good; (4) the effectivity of the learning was elevated; it was shown by the increased learning activities of the students and the higher average score of the test (87.14), compared to the minimum criterion of completeness of 75.

The lazy nature of learning is an obstacle in teaching and learning activities. The higher level of laziness will reduce the students learning achievement. This problem has motivated the author to make a mathematical model of student learning's lazy nature and analyze it. The lazy nature of learning is modeled to a discrete-time system with , denotes a state vector of the lazy nature, represents an input vector system in time,    and denotes a coefficient matrix of and . The optimal quadratic control method is applied in the model to analyze the system's stability and give the interpretation of the model based on the graphics info obtained during the simulation process. The feedback controller  is obtained as a result of optimizing the quadratic objective function. a feedback controller's existence makes the lazy nature of learning physics students decrease from time to time, and the system becomes stable.

The aims of this study were to produce android base chemistrylearning media prototype and evaluate its elibibility andeffectiveness on student science literacy growing on redox reactionand electrochemistry subject material. In form of research anddevelopment, this study was carried out by ADDIE (Analysis,Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evalution)model ofinstructional development. Data was collected by content anddesign validation questionnaire, practitioner and student respondquestionnaire, and science litracy test. Data was analyzed byelegiibility percentega and categories and N-gain test. Study resultshowed that media design and content validity was very eleigiblewith 80 % of eligibility percentage. Practitioner and studentsrespond was very eleigible with 82.22 % and 86.35 % of eligibilitypercentage average respectively. This media effectiveness onstudent literacy growing was proven by N-gain value 0.65 % withfair category. It can be concluded that android base chemistrylearning media that developed was very eligible for chemistylearning application and grow student science literacy on redoxreaction and electrochemistry subject material effectively.

Teacher ability to arrange learning environmet will affect the student’s interest in learning as well in utilizing mobile technology. The purpose of this research is to develop mobile learning using the cooperative learning approach especially Jigsaw technique. The method of this research is development research using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The application was validated by experts for technical aspects and also students from two different grades, i.e grade VII and grade VIII on physics subject for application acceptance responses. The result showed that both technically and application acceptance were in good level. It means that this mobile cooperative learning application can used to enhance student’s learning interest.

Conventional learning method is viewed to be less effective because it poses the problems of space and time. Information Technology offers a method for more effective online learning called e-learning. This research aims to develop e-learning for the module of Child Development at Department of Psychology Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This study was a developmental research project that used the method of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This model was chosen because the stages of its development are deemed appropriate especially for the refinement and implementation of e-materials in online system which facilitates the interactions among students and between the students and lecturers. The subjects of this study were 34 undergraduate psychology students who participated in the module of Child Development. This study was conducted during four meetings. The results of this study were e-material products which were uploaded in online learning system. The e-materials have been validated by experts. A questionnaire to record students’ responses on the e-materials was used. The analysis on the data resulted from students’ responses shows that there is no significant effect of the  e-learning application in the module of Child Development on the students’ learning achievement. Teknologi Informasi menawarkan metode pembelajaran yang dinamakan metode e-learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran e-learning pada mahasiswa yang memprogrram mata kuliah Perkembangan Anak di Jurusan Psikologi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Model ini dipilih karena tahapan-tahapan pengembangannya dipandang sesuai terutama untuk penyempurnaan dan implementasi bahan ajar e-materi dalam sistem online dan fasilitas interaksi mahasiswa dengan dosen dan antar mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang memprogram mata kuliah Perkembangan Anak sejumlah 34 mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama empat kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk e-material yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Kuesioner disebarkan untuk diisi oleh mahasiswa dengan tujuan untuk mengukur respon mereka atas penggunaan e-learning dan e-material. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan pembelajaran e-learning terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa.

The development of learning media is very important to support teaching and learning in the classroom because abstract concepts in physics are difficult to understand. This study aims to Develop Animation Media using Macromedia Flash Application On Static Electric Material. This research uses the development of ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collected by Questionnaire. Questionnaire is used to measure program indicators relating to the content of learning media, program display, and program technical quality. Questionnaire uses a four-point response from Likert scale, where the response alternative is excellent (4 points), good (3 point), less good (2 point) and bad (1 point)

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru matapelajaran sistem komputer kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Banyuwangi, bahan ajar yang digunakan masih berupa file dengan format .pdf dari guru dan bersumber dari internet. Bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 revisi masih belum tersedia mengakibatkan siswa kesulitan untuk belajar secara mandiri maupun kelompok, sehingga siswa kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Bahan ajar berupa buku digital yang dikembangkan terintegrasi dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) yang diharapkan mampu mengajak siswa aktif dalam belajar secara mandiri maupun kelompok diskusi untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Proses pembelajaran masih menggunakan metode ceramah dengan penyampaian materi menggunakan power point. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design. Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Model pengembangan ini meliputi 5 langkah, yaitu: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, dan (5) evaluasi. Sebelum bahan ajar diimplementasikan, dilakukan validasi dan uji coba untuk mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar berupa buku digital ini. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi memperoleh persentase validasi sebesar 92.1% sedangkan ahli media sebesar 86.05%. Uji coba dilakukan sebanyak 3 tahap, yaitu: (1) uji coba perseorangan memperoleh hasil sebesar 77%, (2) uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh hasil sebesar 81.1%, dan (3) uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh hasil 88.3%.

This research aimed to develop interactive learning media with Lectora Inspire for the students of grade X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Tempel on Basic Banking subjects with the competence of saving. The research used the Research Development with ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model. The media was assessed by material expert, media expert, and teacher. The results show that the feasibility of interactive learning media by material expert in strongly feasible category (average score of 4, 26), by media experts in strongly feasible category (average score of 4, 36), by teacher in strongly feasible (average score of 4, 33), and by students in feasible category (average score of 4, 07). The interactive learning media developed is strongly feasible to be used as learning media for students. The student’s learning interest before and after the use of interactive learning media has increased by 8% from 64% to 72%. Paired sample t-test obtained tcount  -5.213 with sig 0.000 showed significant learning interest’s improvement. Therefore, it can be concluded that interactive learning media is able to improve student’s learning interest. Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, Lectora Inspire, Student’s Learning Interest.

The writing of this article is motivated by the existence of a narrow view of human intelligence, the reality is that smart children are children whose mathematical value or language is high while children who have good character, have a high awareness of the surrounding environment are considered not intelligent and at finally, intelligent human resources emerged, but they lacked the nature of care, so the writer was moved to examine whether the nature of caring could be developed through teaching and learning activities in this case through the central approach using the ADDIE model. The method used is by using the Research and Development (R & D) method with a qualitative approach and the ADDIE model. The results of the study show that the nature of caring can be developed through learning strategies outlined through learning implementation plans (RPP). This is evidenced by the authors making observations, interviews and field notes and merging learning activities at SDIT Permata Madani by recording each incident, which in the end through design development of the nature of student care can increase awareness of the environment, teachers, peers, things and school in general.
