ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describing reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Second, describe the writing skills of description text for class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of reading text description understanding with writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. The population of this study was seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang who were registered in the 2018/2019 school year with 192 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, which is 48 students. Based on data analysis and discussion, three research results are obtained as follows. First, reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang in good qualifications. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 81.35. Second, the writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang are in good qualification. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 77.15. Third, there is a significant correlation between reading skills in the description of text description and writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang in the n-1 freedom degree and 95% significant level. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that the tcount is greater than t table, namely (4.51> 1.68). Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Deskripsi

ABSTRACT There are three aims of this study. First, describe the skills of reading comprehention of VII grade students at SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Second, describe the writing skills of the report observation text of VII grade students at SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of reading comprehention with the writing skills of the report observation text of VII grade students at SMP Negeri 33 Padang. The  type of this research is quantitative in terms of descriptive methods. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was the seventh grade students of the SMP Negeri 33 Padang which was registered in the 2018/2019 school year, it was 192 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 36 students. The research data is in the form of scores on the skills test results of reading comprehention and scores on the results of the test writing skills of the report observation text. The instrument of this study is an objective test to measure reading comprehention skills and performance tests to measure report observation text writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, the skills to write report observation texts of  VII grade students of the SMP Negeri 33 Padang is in accordance with the Good qualifications (B) with an averange value 82,99. Second, the skill of reading comprehention of VII grade students of the SMP Negeri 33 Padang in accordance with Good qualifications (B) with an averange value 81,42. Third, there is a significant correlation betwen reading comprehention skills and report observation text writing skills of VIII grade students of the SMP Negeri 7 Padang on n-1 freedom degrees and 95% significant level. H0 is reject and H1is accepted because the tcount is greater than ttable (13,59 > 2,68).  Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describing the reading skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Third, describing the contribution of reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is the XI MA Negeri 3 class students enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, with 250 students. The samples in this study were determined by simple random sampling 25% of the population, which is 61 students. This research Data in the form of scores of test skills reads the understanding of anecdotal text and scores test results of anecdotal text. The Data is obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the reading skills of anecdotal text and test performance to measure anecdotal text writing skills. The results of this study were three. First, the reading skills of understanding anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average value of 85.09. Secondly, the writing skills of anecdote-class students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are on a good qualifying (BS) with an average of 86.13. ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is to describe the reading skills of students' news text comprehension, Second, to describe the skills of writing news texts of students, third, to describe the correlation of reading comprehension of news texts with news writing skills of students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 9 Padang. The population of this research is VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang in the 2019/2020 school year, which is 245 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling 25% of 49 students. The research data scores the results of reading text comprehension test scores and the scores of news text writing skills scores. The research instrument is an objective test for reading text comprehension skills and performance tests for news text writing skills. Research Results First, the reading skills of understanding the news text of good qualifying students (B). Second, the skills of writing news texts of good qualifying students (B). Third, there is a correlation between reading comprehension and news writing skills with news writing skills of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang with degrees of freedom n-1 at 95% confidence level. T value (5.55) is greater than t table (1.68), i.e. titung> ttabel (5.55> 1.68) thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that tcount is greater than t table. It can be concluded that reading text comprehension skills are correlated with news text writing skills. Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Membaca Pemahaman, Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describe the reading skills of the text apresitif fable grade VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Second, describing the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Thirdly, describing the contribution of fable text apreciprocative reading skills to text writing skills Fable class VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang.  This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is class VII junior high School 30 Padang registered in the school year 2018/2019, which is as many as 254 students. The samples in this study were determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, which is 56 students. This research Data is in the form of scores of test skills read Fable text appreciative and score test results of text writing fable. The results of this study were three. First, the skill of reading a text apresiative fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang is in good qualification (B) with an average value of 74.19. Secondly, the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average of 76.64. ABSTRACT This article reveals the contribution of skills reading comprehension text exposition to writing skills text description grade students VIII SMP Negeri Padang Panjang 2.. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design contribution. This research population is grade VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang are registered on the 12th school year 2018/2019, i.e. as many as 156 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, i.e. 40 students. Research data is a score test results intermediate reading comprehension text exposition and score the writing skills test result text exposition. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the skills of reading comprehension text exposition and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a text exposition. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of reading comprehension text exposition grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang Panjang  2 are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 79.39. Second, the skills of writing text exposition grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang Panjang  2 are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 80.23. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of reading comprehension grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 13 are on more than enough qualifications (LdC) by the value of the average 75.41. Second, the skills of writing text exposition grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 13 are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 77.37. The problem statement of the research was: does the implementation of the constructivism learning model improve the comprehending of physics concepts in the vibration and wave material of students in seventh-grade of MTS Negeri Wolowaru? The research aimed to determine the implementation of the constructivism learning model in improving the comprehending of the physics concept in the vibration and wave material of students in seventh-grade of MTS Negeri Wolowaru. The research used a quantitative approach. The population of the study was 60 students of seventh-grade of MTS Negeri Wolowaru. Meanwhile, the sample was 20 students selected through a random sampling technique. The data were the test results of the vibration and wave material. Data analysis was performed by the t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, it concluded that the implementation of the constructivism learning model improved the students' comprehending of physics concepts on vibration and wave material. This conclusion was proved by the results of data analysis, namely tcalculate> ttable = 4.395> 1.729 at the significant level = 0.05 and dk = 19.
