The purpose of this research is to develop an integrated thematic learning model based on Islamic values in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah practically and effectively. The type of this research is development research that refers to the model of 4D. The distribution of this model is implemented in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of Padang city in 2016. The types of data are qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data are derived from observation and interview. Furthermore, quantitative data are obtained from questionnaire. The products of integrated thematic learning model based on Islamic values which have been developed are model guidebook, educator guidebook, and student guidebook. The achievement of the research results indicate that the three products have meet the criteria of validality, practicality and effectiveness. The book model can be used by educators/ teachers and students of elementry school level in helping the students become active and having a good character.

Writing, regarded as a thinking process enables language learners to explore and transform their ideas into words in accurate and appropriate ways. Although it has been taught from the Elementary school level up to the higher level of education, English teachers and students encounter various challenges. For students, they still get difficulties in writing a text even after being taught. For teachers, correcting students’ writing increases their workload. Therefore, how to reduce the load of teaching writing and to decrease students’ difficulties in writing have become important problem to solve. Through applying a technique in teaching writing, this research aimed to explore whether the application of peer review technique can improve students’ achievement in writing recount text. The method applied in this research was a classroom action research. The subject of the research was X-4 class SMA Negeri 21 Medan. The instruments of collecting the data were writing tasks as quantitative data while observation sheet, questionnaire sheet, diary notes and interview as qualitative data. The finding showed that Peer Review Technique gives contribution to improve students’ achievement in writing recount text. Keywords: Achievement, Writing, Recount Text, Peer Review Technique

This research is underpinned by the lack of blame for students ' science process skills that can result in no achievement of learning objectives. The proper application of learning models is one of the alternatives to addressing the problem. One of the learning models that can be applied is the learning model predict observe explain (POE). This research aims to determine the implementation of the learning model predict observe explain and its influence on the skills of the students ' science process on electrolyte and nonelectrolytic solution material in grade X MIA SMAN 9 Jambi City. The approach used in this research is a mix method by using both qualitative data and quantitative data. Sampling techniques are performed with purposive sampling. The instrument used is an observation sheet for the implementation of the model by both teachers and students and the observation sheet of Students ' science process skills. Qualitative data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman and quantitative data analysis techniques using the correlation test of product moment and test-T. The management of the POE model by the teacher has increased each meeting, the percentage of the implementation of POE models by students is 74.56% with good categorize, and the percentage of students ' science process skills is 73.33% categorized. The implementation relationship of POE model by students with the skills of students ' science process categorized very strongly with the value of Rxy 0.849. The signification test was obtained Thitung > this (9,013 > 2,036) with DK 32 and α = 0.05 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the implementation of POE learning model on electrolyte and nonelectrolytic solution material affects the students ' science process skills in X MIA class SMAN 9 Jambi City.

Students are expected to learn and conserve the natural environment. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate technology with character values in the form of developing digital comics for environmental preservation based on character values. This study was designed to develop digital comic learning media for environmental preservation based on character values by using of ADDIE development model. were collected using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data were in the form of suggestions, criticisms, responses, and input as described in the questionnaire from the expert judgment. Meanwhile, quantitative data included in the form of percentage values from expert judgment questionnaires arranged on a multilevel scale. Observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests were used to gather the data. The findings of this study suggested that materials appropriateness and student learning achievement exceed the minimum criteria value set previously. These results show that digital comic learning media based on the character values in integrative thematic learning are declared very feasible and ready to be implemented in integrative thematic learning.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of the circuit game of the recognize me have in developing gross motor skills and children's language in group A at RA Al-Qodir Wage Sidoarjo. This development research use the Dick & Carey research and development model. The result of the development are circuit game products to develop gross motor skill and children’s language in group A. The development of the media includes material about the introduction of indonesian culture, namely traditional clothes in Indonesia. The study was conducted in class A1 at RA Al-Qodir Wage Sidoarjo. Based on the formative test to experts and children obtained qualitative and quantitative data, qualitative data are suggestions from experts and quantitative data in the form of a percentage of child observasion sheets. From the percentage of asessment of formative tests experts and also children, the circuit game is feasible and effective to be used in learning to develop gross motor skills and children’s language in group A in RA Al-Qodir Wage Sidoarjo.

The purpose of this study was (1) to apply the ethnolingistic learning model based on Islamic values of the nusantara to students of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD). This research is development research. The stages in this study took seven steps from the ten R D steps offered by Gall and Borg. The data to be collected in this study is data that shows the teaching material and design of ethnolinguistic learning based on Islamic Nusantara values for PGSD students. The product trial subjects were lecturers and PGSD students at Muria Kudus University. The results of this study are ethnolinguistic learning models based on Islamic values of the nusantara and teaching materials. Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that the ethnolinguistic learning model based on Islamic values of the nusantara and ethnolinguistic teaching materials based on Islamic values of the nusantara are appropriate and meet the requirements to be used as learning models and teaching materials.

This study concerns on improving students’ achievement in writing procedure texts through word webbing technique. The research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population was the 2012-2013 nine grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The number of students was 36, consisting of 21 females and 15 males. The procedure of the research was administrated into two cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings. Each meeting included four steps namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was the writing of procedure texts test while the qualitative data were gathered by using interview, diary notes and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis, the mean of students’ score in Test I was 53,47, for the Test II was 63,05, and for the Test III was 75 The qualitative data showed that the students were interested in the applying of Word webbing Technique. The conclusion is that Word Webbing Technique in writing Procedure Texts improves the students’ achievement in writing procedure texts. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android untuk memudahkan pemahaman konsep trigonometri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung data kuantitatif. Model Pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE. Karya inovasi ini dibuat dengan macromediaflash 8. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 8 siswa pada ujicoba kelompok kecil dan 30 siswa pada ujicoba kelompok besar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan menggunakan model Miles Huberman.Hasilpengembangan diperoleh sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa untuk mempermudah mengingat rumus trigonometri. <p><strong>Abstract: </strong>This study aims to analyze the POE learning model for understanding physics concepts. The method used in this research is a meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is research that examines the results of similar studies. Data obtained from national and international journal documents taken by purposive sampling based on conformity with the research theme. Data analysis using quantitative data analysis with presentations and qualitative data analysis in the form of descriptions of research results found. Based on data analysis, it found that the POE learning model can improve students' understanding of concepts.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran POE terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meta analisis. Meta analisis merupakan penelitian yang mengkaji hasil penelitian yang sejenis. Data diperoleh dari dokumen-dokumen jurnal nasional maupun internasional yang diambil secara purposive sampling berdasarkan kesesuaian dengan tema penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dengan presentasen dan analisis data kualitatif berupa deskripsi-deskripsi hasil penelitian yang ditemui. This study aims to develop additional teaching materials in the form of e-Modul Bryophyta dengan Kajian Islam, as well as to determine the quality of the products developed based on the assessment of several validations, teachers, and students as respondents. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. Descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the research obtained indicate that the Bryophyta e-Module with Islamic Studies developed as a whole has the quality Very Fit for use in teaching and learning activities. With the percentage results from material experts of 89.2% with Very Feasible criteria, from media experts of 71.6% with Eligible criteria, from Islamic Religion experts of 82.6% with Very Appropriate criteria and an assessment of the teacher of 82.5% with criteria Very Eligible for use in teaching and learning activities. Meanwhile, the response of students obtained the overall percentage of small and large group tests of 85.2% with very attractive criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that e-Modul Bryophyta dengan Kajian Islam, which was developed with the Borg & Gall model, is feasible and very attractive to be used as teaching material for students in class X MIA in Ma, especially in Bryophyta lessons.

This research aims at improving students’ ability to write exposition text through learning cycle model to the third-semester students of Indonesian Language Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University. The method used for this research is action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Qualitative data are taken from data analysis and analysis of learning process from three cycles. Meanwhile, quantitative data are taken from the comparison of students' score from the first to the third cycle. The implementation of learning cycle that consists of engagement, exploration, explanation elaboration and evaluation in writing exposition activity done in  every cycle successfully improves students’ ability to write exposition text. It is shown on the average score which increases from 52.38 to 80.13. This improvement comes along the improvement of students’ activity in expressing their ideas throughout learning cycle. As a result, learning cycle can improve students’ ability to write exposition text.
