An automated monitoring system has been developed for the AFM “Protection” of the development and spread of pests of forestry crops. The system is designed in the form of a local computer network, operates on-line and has the following additional features: automatic integration of daily data required for services of regional departments and the Forestry Agency of the republic. Based on these data, weekly, monthly maps and summary tables will be compiled.   SUMMARY In the main directions of sustainable development of forestry in the Republic of Uzbekistan at the present stage for the period up to 2030, it is envisaged to further increase the productivity of forests on the basis of technical re-equipment, the introduction of advanced techniques to increase the efficiency of forestry production, improve the protection of forests from fires and protect them from pests and diseases. According to the forestry agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the area of forest plantations is 3.2 million hectares. This is about 7% of the total area of the republic. Of these, 821.0 thousand hectares are forest plantations. This means that only 2% of the area is covered by forests. When planning the necessary forest protection measures, it is required to identify complexes of the most important, most dangerous pest species and predict further changes in the number of pest populations. Therefore, when organizing a monitoring system, it is necessary to obtain reliable information about the level of the number of pests and the degree of their threat to crops and plantations. First, when organizing a systematic system of forestry monitoring, the territory should be zoned based on economic and ecological criteria. Secondly, due to the fact that the emergence of foci of mass reproduction of pests is usually confined to regions where critical weather situations are observed, then when designing forestry monitoring such areas should be given priority attention. Thirdly, it is necessary to strongly recommend the organization of stationary objects in all farms, which will annually assess the level of abundance, the qualitative state of the populations of the main species and the state of the growing stand. In case of significant damage to forest stands, a detailed survey with an assessment of the dynamics of tree mortality, determination of the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the dominant pest species and the development of a strategy for forest protection measures should be carried out by specialists-entomologists.

Forest protection is an effort to prevent and control the destruction of forests, forest areas, and forest products caused by human actions, livestock, fires, pests and diseases. The aims of this research are to identify the types of forest disturbance especially those caused by humans and physically, analyze the factors causing forest disturbance, and analyze efforts to control forest disturbance at KPH Kuningan. Forest disturbances that occurred in the KPH Kuningan during 2010-2014 included: timber theft, forest fires, forest encroachment, and natural disasters. The background of forest disturbance in the Kuningan KPH is mainly due to the socio-economic conditions of the community around the forest that are still low. Strategic actions taken to prevent forest disturbance at the KPH Kuningan are to take pre-emptive actions in the form of counseling and establish good relations between officers and the community through social communication and Community Based Forest Management (PHBM), preventive actions in the form of patrols and safeguards against forest potential, and repressive actions in the form of legal remedies against the perpetrators. Key words: cause of forest disturbance, type of forest disturbance, forest disturbance control

A mathematical model of an electric drive of a centrifugal borehole pump is proposed for evaluating its energy consumption in operating conditions. The model is based on the use of minimum set of technical parameters of the pump, presented in the public data of the manufacturer. The correctness of the calculated formulas is confirmed by experimental data provided in the program for equipment search and selection from Grundfos Product Center. Based on the created model, a comparative analysis of the energy efficiency of products from various manufacturers was made. It is proved that when choosing a centrifugal borehole pump of the local water supply system, it is necessary to pay attention to the energy efficiency indicators of electric drive in order to make a final decision.

The strategic goal of the development of the Russian forest complex is to significantly increase its contribution to the national economy by creating an economically sustainable, private and globally competitive group of industries. For this, the products of forest sector of Russia should enjoy equal demand both on domestic and foreign markets. The basic branch of forest complex is forestry, which provides protection, reproduction of forests, regulation of forest man-agement and control over the use of forest resources. The Republic of Mariy El is not distinguished by the presence of a large number of industrially significant natural resources. The main natural wealth of the region is forest, which covers more than 50% of its territory. The forest-growing conditions of the Republic of Mariy El in most of its territory are favorable for the growth of valuable coniferous species. Extensive exploitation of the republic's forests is a difficult period of the beginning and the middle of the 20th century, traditional ways of managing in the forest, aimed primarily at selecting the most valuable timber; insufficient financing of reforestation, forest protection measures; as well as cur-rent market situation of timber currently lead to negative changes in species and commodity structure of the country's forest resources. The locomotive of the growth of the forest complex of the Republic of Mariy El is JSC Mari Pulp and Paper Mill, which largely covers its need for wood raw materials by importing it from outside the region. Enterprises-tenants of forest areas carry out the harvesting of timber and subsequent sale of products with low added value, which reduces the contribution of forestry industries to the economy of the region. Forest recreation should be a strategic di-rection for the development of forest management in the Republic of Mariy El.

The existing power facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan face a number of disadvantages related to the system for recording data on the technical condition of boiler and turbine equipment: manual calculation of the parameters of equipment operation, lack of direct access to complete information on the condition of equipment and, as a result, low efficiency in identifying malfunctions, deviations in the operation of equipment, carrying out repair work. Hence, the need for digitalization of the system for recording data on the technical condition of equipment was formed, in response to which software was developed for automating the data recording system and visualizing the technical parameters of reliability at thermal power plants. This proposal is distinguished by the introduction of digital technologies in the process of recording data on the technical condition of equipment, where for the first time the software includes a method for automatically calculating the technical condition index of boiler units. The results of the work will reduce the likelihood of an emergency state of power plant equipment.

Samama (Anthocephalus marcophyllus Roxb.Havil) is a tree with a canopy like a large umbrella so that if planted at any distance it will not affect the shape of the stem (Halawane et al. 2011). This type can flourish in tropical forests with an altitude of 50-1000 mdpl. This is including native Indonesian plants that have the potential to be developed in the development of plantation forests and for other purposes, such as reclamation of ex-mining land, reforestation and shade trees (Mansur and Tuheteru 2010). This is because samama can grow on various types of soil, do not have serious pests and diseases (Pratiwi 2003). In accordance with the permit for the implementation of silvopatura activities in production forest areas which are explained in full in the regulations of the Ministery of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. P.14/Menlhk-11/2015 concerning procedures for granting business licenses for the utilization of silvopastura areas in production forests with the aim of ensuring sustainable forest management by applying the principles of good governance. In the framework of sustainable production forest management to support food sovereignty programs. Provision of sufficient light space, fertilize and selection of tolerant grass species under stands are the key to the success of silvopastura. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the density of trees with 2 tree/plot with light intensity in the morning was 70.48% and 95.29% during the day. Addition of nitrogen to grass is not needed if the soil used has good fertility. Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Mott has the best tolerance under the same stand as a source of cut grass (intensive retention) and Stenotaphrum secundatum a coarse, hardly perennial grass in the management of silvopastura extensive. Key words: silvopasture, density of tree, shade, samama

Tomato is a vegetable of great importance on the national scene. One of the problems of this culture is the great susceptibility to attack by pests and diseases. Thus, one of the most used practices is chemical control with phytosanitary products. The objective of this study was to evaluate the technical parameters of pneumatic spraying in tomato culture, through the study of the volumetric index and the population of spray droplets, aiming to reduce the spray volume, obtain the best efficiency and the social and environmental safety of the applications. The study of the droplet population was performed using water-sensitive paper labels. These labels were placed in the canopies of the tomato plants at three different heights and two positions. The sprays were made using a pneumatic backpack sprayer. After applying the syrup (dye + water), the water-sensitive paper labels were collected and subjected to the coverage and droplet density analyses by the computer program “CIR” version 1.5. The pneumatic sprayer proved to be efficient for the application of phytosanitary products in the tomato. The percentage of the target covered area ranged from 2.1 to 8.3% for volumetric indices as a function of thirds and positions, whereas the density of droplets ranged from 145.4 to 690.1 drops cm-2 for thirds and positions of the tomato plants evaluated. Finally, the volumetric index of 5 mL m-3, with a consequent spray volume of 50 L ha-1, met the parameters of a quality spray.
