The braking torque mathematical modelling in electromagnetic eddy current brake (ECB) often ignores the skin effect that occurrs during operation. However this phenomenon can not be simply neglected. Therefore, this paper presents a mathematical model of braking torque for a unipolar axial type of ECB system with a non-magnetic disk, which considers the skin effects. The use of mathematical models that consider the existence of skin effects is significant in approaching the braking torque according to the actual condition. The utilization of generic calculations to the model of the ECB braking torque leads to invalid results. Hence, in this paper, the correction factor was added to improve the braking torque calculation as a comparator to the proposed equation. However, the modification and addition of the correction factor were only valid to estimate the low-speed regimes of torque, but very distant for the high-speed condition. From the comparison of calculated values using analytical and 3D modelling, the amount of braking torque at a low speed was found to have an average error for the equation using a correction factor of 1.78 Nm, while after repairing, a value of 1.16 Nm was obtained. For the overall speed, an average error of 14.63 Nm was achieved, while the proposed equation had a small difference of 1.79 Nm. The torque difference from the calculation results of the proposed model with the measurement value in the experiment was 4.9%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the proposed equation provided a better braking torque value approach for both low and high speeds.

In driving sustainable tourism, the concept of carrying capacity in tourism needs to be applied. This concept of carrying capacity gives a comprehensive emphasis in the development of tourism whether in physical, social or economic aspects. If this concept is applied, it is in determining the situation in a tourist destination whether it is still in a state that can be accepted by the stakeholders in tourism, namely tourists, locals and tour operators. In this paper, emphasis is given to social carrying capacity in tourism which is one of the parts in tourism carrying capacity. This social capacity is the most difficult part to examine because it involves unequal perceptions and views from various parties. It involves interactions between tourists and tourists that cover issues of congestion and the quality of their tourism and interactions between tourists and locals or hosts that involve issues of their quality of life. Due to that, this social capacity is quite difficult to implement in some tourist areas.

Logistics resources will be concentrated in the same space by logistics park, to provide intensive logistics services and enhance the efficiency of logistics, thereby, a large number of logistics parks emerged in China for a period of time, and the park vacancy rate caused by high attention. Logistics Park construction should be matched with the demand. Calculation of logistics park carrying capacity is one of those problems should be solved. This paper uses the analogy method, the standard reference method and the space-time consumption method to calculate the comprehensive carrying capacity of “one port, six parks”, which is planned in Wuhan. The results show that although the space-time consumption method is more complicated than the other two, but its calculation results can better reflect the carrying capacity of Logistics Park.

The right strategy in inventory is the main point in maintaining adequate and guaranteed supply continuity. Inventory strategies are becoming important but complex when the number of items that must be prepared is increasing. In this regard, it is necessary to analyze the product groupings in several classifications. Prioritized products receive special attention. The same problem is faced by PT PEKA, an import raw material distribution company that has nearly 2000 product items. Based on data demand is known, that the company's demand does not have a fixed pattern. Many products have regular and irregular demand, even the number of regular demand is very volatile. Companies often experience excess stock or vice versa due to lack of stock demand according to predictions, long lead times and product self-life that varies. Related to this, alternative product groupings or classifications are needed in accordance with company conditions. The company currently has frozen and unfrozen products, has items made from natural and non-natural raw materials and has a short and relatively long lead time.PT. PEKA groups products in various stages, which lead to a combination of ABC and XYZ classifications. Demand of priority items generated from the grouping is then forecast according to the model that gives the smallest MSE / MAD. Furthermore, a case study was carried out to calculate the Total Relevance Cost (TRC) from the calculation results to be compared with the real TRC. TRC according to the classification results was Rp. 1,293,370,148, - lower than the actual condition TRC, which amounted to Rp. 1,805,887,874, -

There is a deviation from the actual condition of freight transport and ‘volume of freight transport by vehicles’ counted by the current highway and waterway industry statistical statement system of China at the provincial or municipal level. This paper puts forward the concept of ‘volume of freight transport in regions’, uses survey data and administrative data to calculate the Grey relational degree between arterial highway freight volume and the GDP of the three industries. The quantitative analysis of the calculation results shows that the results are consistent with the actual situation, which is of certain practical significance. The variation trend of the arterial highway freight volume can reflect the economic development of the region.
