Purworejo Districtis a district with high disaster risk index in Indonesia, especiallylandslide. The main factor that triggers the landslide is rainfall. However, therehas been no comprehensive research on the intensity of rain that triggered the landslide in Purworejo District, especially in the Sub district of Loano. Huge landslide occurred in Loano Sub district at 2016, causing 46 deaths and damages in several houses. Therefore, it is necessary to study the prediction of landslide based on rainfall data and geological conditions of Loano Sub district, Purworejo District. The objective of this research is to analyze the mechanism of landslide, to analyze the rainfall that triggers the landslide and to estimate the intensity of rain that can triggers the landslide. The research method is collecting historical data of landslides in Purworejo District along with rainfall data, geological observation that includes the condition of lithology, geomorphology and hydrogeology,undisturbed soil sampling in Loano Sub district. The prediction of landslide uses empirical methods which were then simulated by Geostudio 2012 Software. The results show that the type of landslide is sliding, the main control factor is the steep slope and the thickness of the soil. The rainfall threshold triggering landslide are as follows for lithology andesite breccia I = 81.782 D􀀀1.197, sandy clay I = 92.579 D􀀀0.13, and andesite intrusionI = 145.32 D􀀀0.338.

Abstract Landslide is one of the natural disasters that can cause a lot of loss, both material and fatalities. Banjarnegara Regency is one of Central Java Province regencies where landslides often occur due to the region's topography and high intensity rainfall.. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the threshold of rainfall that can trigger landslides to be used as an early warning for landslides. The rainfall data used for the threshold is daily and hourly rainfall intensity from remote sensing data that provides complete data but relatively rough resolution. So that remote sensing data need to be re-sampled. The remote sensing data used is CMORPH satellite data that has been re-sampled for detailing existing information of rainfall data. The resampling method used is the bilinear method and nearest neighbor by choosing between the two based on the highest correlation. Threshold calculation using Cumulative Threshold (CT) method resulted equation P3 = 7.0354 - 1.0195P15 and Intensity Duration (ID) method resulted equation I = 1.785D-0305. The peak rainfall intensity occurs at the threshold of 97-120 hours before a landslide occur.

Land sliding is a perennial problem in the Eastern Himalayas. Out of 0.42 million km2 of Indian landmass prone to landslide, 42% fall in the North East Himalaya, specially Darjeeling and Sikkim Himalaya. Most of these landslides are triggered by excessive monsoon rainfall between June and October in almost every year. Various attempts in the global scenario have been made to establish rainfall thresholds in terms of intensity – duration of antecedent rainfall models on global, regional and local scale for triggering of the landslide. This paper describes local aspect of rainfall threshold for landslides based on daily rainfall data in and around north Sikkim road corridor region. Among 210 Landslides occurring from 2010 to 2016 were studied to analyze rainfall thresholds. Out of the 210 landslides, however, only 155 Landslides associated with rainfall data which were analyzed to yield a threshold relationship between rainfall intensity-duration and landslide initiation. The threshold relationship determined fits to lower boundary of the Landslide triggering rainfall events is I = 4.045 D - 0.25 (I=rainfall intensity (mm/h) and D=duration in (h)), revealed that for rainfall event of short time (24 h) duration with a rainfall intensity of 1.82 mm/h, the risk of landslides on this road corridor of the terrain is expected to be high. It is also observed that an intensity of 58 mm and 139 mm for 10-day and 20-day antecedent rainfall are required for the initiation of landslides in the study area. This threshold would help in improvement on traffic guidance and provide safety to the travelling tourists in this road corridor during the monsoon.

The aim of this study was to explore the phenomena of premarital pregnancy by exploring adolescent characteristics, experiences and socio- environmental responses. It employs descriptive study and phenomenology approach using in-depth interviews to explore adolescent’s premarital pregnancy experiences. A total of 49 adolescents aged 12-19 years with premarital pregnancy were willing to participate in this study and 10 respondents were interviewed in more deeply. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. The average age of the respondents were 17 years old and most of them had low educational level. Their knowledge on sexual and reproductive health was categorized as lack of knowledge. Nearly half of them were more permissive so that partner influence to have sex is main factor that is difficult to resist by the respondents. Parents and community responses were initially forced to resist their premarital pregnancy, but it gradually became normally accept. Premarital pregnancy was more influenced by peer’s permissive attitude, frequent access to pornography, and lack of parental supervision. There were four respondents who tried to seek abortion. It is recommended to provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education to adolescents in order to prevent premarital pregnancy.

Forecasting of rainfall trends is essential for several fields, such as airline and ship management, flood control and agriculture. The rainfall data were recorded several time simultaneously at a number of locations and called the space-time data. Generalized Space Time Autoregressive (GSTAR) model is one of space-time models used to modeling and forecasting the rainfall. The aim of this research is to propose the nonlinear space-time model based on hybrid of GSTAR, Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and it called GSTAR-NN-PSO. In this model, input variable of the FFNN was obtained from the GSTAR model. Then use PSO to initialize the weight parameter in the FFNN model. This model is applied for forecasting monthly rainfall data in Jepara, Kudus, Pati and Grobogan, Central Java, Indonesia. The results show that the proposed model gives more accurate forecast than the linear space-time model, i.e. GSTAR and GSTAR-PSO. Moreover, further research about space-time models based on GSTAR and Neural Network is needed to improving the forecast accuracy especially the weight matrix in the GSTAR model.

To obtain the necessary shear strength parameters of the retaining wall bottom in a bank revetment project, in-situ shearing strength test must be conducted. There are 3 kinds of foundations. One is undisturbed soil foundation, and the other two are composite foundations. Due to the limited of the engineering conditions, each kind of foundation has prepared one specimen only. So the single shearing strength test can't separate cohesion c and friction angle φ. To solve this problem, a method which is a combination of shear strength test and sliding strength test is used. Sliding strength test is carried on specimens that have already failed after shearing strength test. This test is carried in wet conditions and cohesion values and friction angle values are obtained. In addition, the influence of the processing of composite foundation to equivalent friction coefficient is analyzed. Test result can be referenced by bank revetment projects which have similar geological conditions.

Cilacap Regency is the region that has the highest Disaster Risk Index in the Central Java Province, this area has the risk of floods, water robes, landslides, droughts, tornadoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Data from the Indonesian Disaster Risk Index (IRBI) in 2016 shows the level of disaster risk in Cilacap Regency occupying the 17th position nationally and first from 35 regencies/cities in the Central Java Province with a score of 132 (high hazard class). Under these conditions, a Disaster Mitigation Policy is needed. Legally, the Mitigation Policy in Cilacap Regency has been regulated in Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2012 concerning Violation of disaster management, especially in article 43 which includes several activities, namely: (1) Spatial planning implementation (2) Arrangement of infrastructure development, governance buildings, (3) Organizing education, counseling, and training, both conventional and modern, so that regional governments are expected to be able to develop disaster information, disaster databases, and maps in order to minimize the impact of disasters. Therefore, in this study, trying to describe the analysis of the implementation of disaster mitigation policies in Cilacap Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method by looking at phenomena in the implementation of disaster mitigation and the factors that support and inhibit them. The community plays a role according to the direction of the BPBD. The community continues to coordinate, communicate and cooperate in carrying out its role. The non-technical role is carried out through socialization, education, advocacy to the community in the flood disaster area. Filling mining plays an important role in controlling surface subsidence. To study the movement of overburdened rock in filling mining under thick loose layers, a numerical simulation combing field measurement in CT30101 working face in the Mahuangliang coal mine was tested. The results show that different filling rates and filling body strength have different influences on roof and surface movement. The filling rate has a greater impact, which is the main control factor. The filling stress and roof tensile stress decrease gradually with roadway filling. The filling body stress and roof tensile stress in the first and second rounds are far greater than in the fourth round. After the completion of filling, the first and second round of filling bodies mainly bear the overburden, and the total deformation of the surrounding rock of the main transport roadway is very small, and therefore the displacement of the overburdened rock is controllable. The field monitoring results also show that the overburdened rock became stable after several fillings rounds. Combing the numerical modeling and field tests results, this study can be a guideline for similar geological conditions especially for coal mining under thick loose layers and thin bedrock.

Banjarnegara is one of the regions in Central Java which is very vulnerable to landslide disaster. This condition is motivated by the geological conditions and the metoerological conditions of Banjarnegara Regency that contributed to the high potential for landslides. One area in Banjarnegara Regency which is prone to landslides is Karangkobar Sub-District. From 2018, there have been 23 landslides in Karangkobar Sub-District, out of a total of 152 landslides that occurred in Banjarnegara. This study intended to determine the level of landslide threats in Karangkobar Sub-District and the level of community capacity in dealing with landslide threats in Karangkobar Sub-District. The method used in the study is scoring, geographic information systems, descriptive, Gutman scale, and comparative descriptive. Parameters used to determine the threat of landslides are rainfall, slope, soil type, land use, soil texture, soil drainage, and soil depth. While the parameters for the level of capacity are the rules and institutions for disaster management, early warning and disaster risk assessment, disaster education, reduction of basic risk factors, and preparedness development for all lines. Based on to the result, we know that the level of landslides in Karangkobar Sub-District consists of low landslide threat level that covers only 1% of the Karangkobar area, moderate landslide threat that covers 74% of the Karangkobar area, and High level of landslide threat that covers 25% of the entire Karangkobar area. Based on the research result shows that most of the Karangkobar Sub-District area still has a low capacity in dealing with disasters. The low capacity of the community in Karangkobar Sub-District will be a serious problem because of the large threat of landslides in the area. For this reason, disaster mitigation efforts are needed in the Karangkobar Sub-District community.

Various previous studies show different results. Religiosity/emotional variables, for example, turn out to be the main factor of public preference for choosing Islamic banks for the people of Central Java. While for the people of West Java and East Java was religiosity / religiosity does not become the main factor of choice and preference for the utilization of sharia banks. On the other hand shows that the growth of DPK in 2004 of sharia banks in Central Java reached 247.81% exceeds the national level of only 106.55%. On average, the growth of Islamic banking DPK in Central Java between 2004 and 2009 was 74.87%. While the national level between 2004 to 2009 only ranged 45.14%. Consumer preferences according to the concept of sharia are not based on the spirit of the value of rationalism and utilitarianism, but based on the value of "falah" Chapra, (2001) which in Weber's theory (1969) is called the value of religious absolutism. Utilitarianism refers only to satisfaction based on rationality of benefit (F) calculation of economical, while falah refers to the consideration of the benefit (M). The above conditions will affect the behavior of one's economic choices against conventional banking savings products that only contain elements of F, or Islamic banking that contains elements of M. This research uses a survey method used for explanatory research method that is explanatory research Causal relationships between variables through hypothesis testing. The results showed that the variable religiosity and profit margin variables showed a significant effect on the level of development of the number of customers. The prediction ability of the two variables to the level of the development of the number of customers in this study amounted to 19.3%, while the rest influenced other factors not included in the study.

Abstract Situ Ciledug is an artificial reservoir located at Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia. In 1950 known as one of the largest lakes with total area of 32.806 hectares. As time goes by, due to the construction of housing and land use around the area, the catcahment area was reduced about 19.3 hectares in 2013 and by the end of 2020 the surface area was become 16.2 hectares. Urbanization is the main factor that makes the area of Situ Ciledug’s narrower. The second impact was flooding, as a result, the flood inundates the cities around the reservoir. This study aims to increase the storage capacities by normalizing the reservoir using SWMM 5.1 software. Hydrological analysis was carried out in the first stage to find the maximum rainfall using a 100-year return period. Then result intensity of rainfall used to analyze the hyetograph as input for rainfall data in SWMM 5.1. The modeling uses a maximum of rainfall about 107 mm with a reservoir depth of 1.3 meters. The large inflow that enters the reservoir is 87.504 m3/second aand the volume is 30.145 m3/second. Therefore, it is necessary to normalize the reservoir by increasing the depth of the reservoir by 0.7 meters. Normalization is carried out to accommodate flood discharge as a solution to flood mitigation due to the overflow.
