This research area is located on the Australian NW Shelf close to the westernedge of the Sahul Platform. This research is aimed to generate the palispatic basin model of Bonaparte Basin, Australian Northwest Shelf. It is to predict the impact of Neogene collision on the petroleum system distribution on Australian Northwest Shelf. The main data used in this research are seismic data using qualitative method analysis. The well data is used to well-seismic tied. After data acquisition, the seismic data are interpreted based on the horizon and structure interpretation. These interpretation are to reconstruct the basin evolution thorough geologic time. According to data analysis, the basin evolution palispatic model are divided into Paleo-proterozoic, Paleozoic, Triassic, Early Jurassic, Middle Jurassic, Late Jurassic, Early Cretaceous, Late Cretaceous, Early Eocene, Late Miocene and Recent condition. Regional tectonically there are at least three important events in NW Shelf: Middle Triassic-Jurassic NNE–SSW extension phase, Late Jurassic NE–SW extension phase and the Neogen collision phase; the Neogen collision effects on Northwest Shelf Australia. These three events contributed in forming and disturbing the Paleozoic and Mesozoic petroleum system in Bonaparte basin especially.

Interpretation of regional seismic data and analysis of available well data from the North Viking Graben suggest that a significant phase of structural inversion took place in the Late Jurassic and also in the early Cretaceous. It is believed that this inversion may be a consequence either of compression of the basin as a whole or alternatively, transpressional uplift along offset NW-SE fault systems. The north-south trending Penguin Ridge in UKCS quadrant 211 is interpreted as being such an inversion feature. The Penguin Ridge may well be an extreme example of apparent compression within the context of the Northern North Sea. However, it is clear that less well-developed structures of a similar type have previously been interpreted as simple extensional fault blocks. A compressional or transpressional mode of formation has implications for both reservoir diagenesis and faulting and thus important consequences for exploration play evaluation. It is also proposed that the Penguin Ridge is the northerly limit of a north-south trend or fairway in which compressional features can be observed from regional and field specific seismic data. Certainly there are many anomalous structures within the complex crestal areas of the majority of the Brent Province fields. The impact of such a model is the subject of continuing studies, but it is clear that as the search for more subtle plays intensifies in mature exploration areas such as the North Sea, it is important that the explorationist keeps an open mind, especially when confronted with apparently anomalous data.

AbstractBikaner–Nagaur basin is located in the northwestern part of India and lies on the rising flank of Punjab platform of Middle Indus basin in Pakistan. Existence of Neoproterozoic-Cambrian petroleum system was confirmed by the exploration activities in the western periphery of the basin, whereas vast areas of central and eastern parts remain unexplored. Knowledge of petroleum system in this unexplored part of the basin is limited due to non-availability of data. Recently, 2525 line km of regional 2D seismic data acquired for the first time by Government of India under National Seismic Program (NSP) unlocks the opportunity for comprehensive understanding of subsurface geology in unexplored part of the basin. Present work aims to interpret recently acquired 2D seismic data and integrate with available surface (outcrop) data, gravity and well data (drilled in western part of basin) for unfolding the petroleum system elements, structural configurations and stratigraphic features in the hitherto central-eastern part of the basin. Two Neoproterozoic-Cambrian hydrocarbon plays: (1) Jodhpur and (2) overlying Bilara/Hanseran Evaporite Group (HEG) were envisaged. Both the plays depicted distinctive seismic characteristics, structural alignment and distribution of reservoir, source and seal. Fluvio-deltaic sandstone within Jodhpur group and shallow marine fractured dolomites within Bilara/HEG showed potential reservoir characteristics whereas organic rich laminated dolomites, stromatolites and argillaceous litho-units within Bilara/HEG group have been predicted as prospective source. The Halite layers within HEG group were considered as effective regional seals. Fault bounded anticlinal structures associated with Cambrian compression have been identified as the main entrapment for hydrocarbon accumulation. The basin witnessed long tectonostratigraphic history with two major compressional phases Structures formed by Cambrian compression are likely to be charged as the time of source maturity and peak expulsion was later, during early Mesozoic period. Overall, the study indicates new opportunities and potential accumulation of hydrocarbon in the unexplored part of the basin.

ABSTRACT: The Uruguayan continental margin was generated as the result of the breakup of Gondwana and, later, the opening of the South Atlantic Ocean, which began in the Jurassic. Three major areas of Meso-Cenozoic sedimentation are located in the Uruguayan offshore: the Punta del Este Basin, the southernmost sector of the Pelotas Basin and the Oriental del Plata Basin. These basins share the classical stages of tectono-sedimentary evolution of the other Atlantic basins, including the prerift (Paleozoic), rift (Jurassic-Early Cretaceous), transition (Barremian-Aptian) and postrift (Aptian-present) phases. Based on the analysis of basin evolution through seismic sections and well data as well as on the establishment of analogies with productive Atlantic basins, four speculative petroleum systems are proposed for the Punta del Este Basin: 1) Marine petroleum system of the prerift stage: Devonian/Permian-Devonian/Permian(?), 2) Lacustrine petroleum system of the synrift stage: Neocomian-Neocomian(?), 3) Marine petroleum system of the Cretaceous postrift: Aptian-Late Cretaceous(?), 4) Marine petroleum system of the Cenozoic postrift: Paleocene-Paleogene/Neogene(?).

The previous researchs almost demonstrated the reservoir in Lower Oligocene sandstone has complicated distribution, probably low porosity and permeability, no nature flow are seen by wells. Based on recent study results of depositional environment of E Oligocene sedimentary in Cuu Long basin and E sand distribution in blocks 01/10 & 02/10, block 09-2/09, block 09-2/10 and block 16-2 area, the paper determines depositional facies according to petrophysic and geophysic data. From Chrono-stratigraphy priciple, as well as interpretation and intergration of seismic data, well data, well log data, core & sample analysis results, petrophysic data, well test data, the paper forcuses on create correlation lines between wells and seismic line for confirming Oligocene E distribution in Cuu Long basin, buildup the gross mapping for depositional environment in sub-sequence Oligocene E upper and E lower and mapping of seismic attributes for sub-sequence Oligocene E upper and E lower.At last successfully predict the sand distribution in Oligocene E upper and E lower sub-sequence in research area and hence determine the stratigraphic traps in Oligocene formation of South-East area Cuulong basin.

<p>Seismic oceanography (SO) has been widely used on the inversion of physical oceanographic properties due to its higher lateral resolution up to 10m, compared to conventional oceanographic measurement methods. Normally, the inversion process requires seismic data and in-situ hydrographic data, and the latter is acquired by deploying XBTs/XCTDs. Recently, due to the advantage of providing quantifiable uncertainties of the inverted parameters, a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithm has been used for the temperature and salinity inversion from SO data. Based on the MCMC inversion method, this study investigates the effect of the lateral density of XBT deployments on the resultant uncertainties of inverted temperature and salinity. We analysed the seismic data acquired in the Gulf of Cadiz (SW Iberia) in 2007 in the framework of the Geophysical Oceanography project. A nonlinear Temperature-Salinity relation is modelled using a Genetic Algorithm from CTD casts collected in the research area. Combining the temperature data from XBTs with the T-S relation, smoothed temperature and salinity prior distributions are derived. Then the posterior distributions of temperature and salinity are estimated using the prior information and the field reflectivity data. In this study, priors are changed by controlling the amount of XBTs used, after which the corresponding uncertainties of the inverted temperature and salinity are calculated. The result quantifies the impact of the prior models with different XBT deployment densities on the uncertainties of inverted results. It is proposed that the acquisition of a reasonable temperature starting model is the prior consideration when deciding the XBT deployment strategy along the seismic oceanography survey.</p>

Novel textiles have received a lot of attention from researchers in the last decade due to some of their unique features. The introduction of intelligent materials into textile structures offers an opportunity to develop multifunctional textiles, such as sensing, reacting, conducting electricity and performing energy conversion operations. In this research work nanocomposite-based highly piezoelectric and electroactive β-phase new textile has been developed using the pad-dry-cure method. The deposition of poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) − carbon nanofillers (CNF) − tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), Si(OCH2CH3)4 was acquired on a treated textile substrate using coating technique followed by evaporation to transform the passive (non-functional) textile into a dynamic textile with an enhanced piezoelectric β-phase. The aim of the study is the investigation of the impact the coating of textile via piezoelectric nanocomposites based PVDF-CNF (by optimizing piezoelectric crystalline phase). The chemical composition of CT/PVDF-CNC-TEOS textile was detected by qualitative elemental analysis (SEM/EDX). The added of 0.5% of CNF during the process provides material textiles with a piezoelectric β-phase of up to 50% has been measured by FTIR experiments. These results indicated that CNF has high efficiency in transforming the phase α introduced in the unloaded PVDF, to the β-phase in the case of nanocomposites. Consequently, this fabricated new textile exhibits glorious piezoelectric β-phase even with relatively low coating content of PVDF-CNF-TEOS. The study demonstrates that the pad-dry-cure method can potentially be used for the development of piezoelectric nanocomposite-coated wearable new textiles for sensors and energy harvesting applications. We believe that our study may inspire the research area for future advanced applications.

It is still found that investigating officers do not have an S1 degree or equivalent in thejurisdiction of the Sambass Resort Police as mandated in PP No. 58 of 2010 concerningAmendments to Government Regulation Number 27 of 1983 concerning theImplementation of KUHAP article 2A paragraph (1) letter a. If the requirements ofinvestigators are not fulfilled, there will automatically be limits of authority, includingthe inability to issue investigation orders, detention warrants and other administrativeletters. This study used a qualitative method with juridical empirical research. Toobtain accurate data, purposive sampling technique was used, and primary datacollection by conducting in-depth interviews. The research results found, among others:first, discretion regarding the administration of investigations in the jurisdiction of theSambas Resort Police for the Sambas District Police who do not have investigatingofficers who meet the requirements, is then taken over by the Head of the CriminalInvestigation Unit as the supervisor of the integrated criminal investigation function.Second, the impact of an integrated investigation administration causes the time tocarry out investigations to be slow due to the long distance between the Sector Policeand the Resort Police.

Research on the impact of the introduction of micro fertilizers and growth promoters on a background of mineral fertilizer and without N90R45К120 spent on old peat in shallow carbonate floodplain r.Supiy, Yahotyn Kyiv region. Power peat horizon about 60-70 cm, 7,4-7,6 pH of the aqueous extract, stupas schedule 56-60%, density 0,49-0,52 assembly soil, total nitrogen content (%) - 1.9; gross forms of phosphorus - 0,4, potassium 0.2, 20% lime. In experiments studying biological rehoplant, radustym, Biolan, emistim, Jets, humisol, plantafol, radyfarm and micronutrients: copper, boric acid, manganese sulphate, zinc sulphate, potassium humates. Treatment drugs conducted in the spring by spraying mixtures. Space research area of 60 m2, three-time repetition. It is established that the use of growth stimulants and micronutrients in the background N90R45К120 provided the highest yield mixtures of years, against making BIOLan - 9.9 t / ha Radyfarmu - 9.6 t / ha Radostymu 9.3 t / ha dry weight. In areas for making other preparations were intermediate yield growth rates - 0.5 - 2.0 t / ha dry weight. Also good gains herbage yields obtained by making all kinds of micronutrients and growth stimulants in the background without making makrodobryv which was within 5.3 - 6.9 t / ha to control without fertilization - 4.5 t / ha dry weight. In deep peat copper fertilizer (25 kg / ha of copper sulphate or 5 kg / ha pirytnoho cinders) in all zones should be making every 3-4 years, and zinc, cobalt and molybdenum advisable to make time for the growing season, spring, by foliar application in such numbers: ammonium molibdenovokyslyy - 0.3 kg / ha; cobalt sulfate - 3 kg / ha zinc sulphate 0.5 kg / ha or placers these salts should be mixed with major fertilizer.

This research to analyze the impact of closure policy Teleju brothel by Pekanbaru govermentin 2010. Guidelines for works are Pekanbaru Local Regulations No. 12 of 2008 on Social Order-liness. Closure this brothel inflicts positive and negative impact for society.The research wasconducted to obtain early stage formula for the government to take action against the prostitu-tion activities. This research uses policy research approach with a qualitative method, becausein prostitution activities and prohibition by goverment is an assessment that needs to be done byanalyzing documents and unstructured interview.The results showed that after the closing of the Teleju brothel have an impact on the deploy-ment of a prostitution and affect the economy of the surrounding residents. Government seeksto tackle prostitution in Pekanbaru by moving the brothel, conduct regular raids and providetraining. The effort is considered to be less than the maximum because the handling is not basedon the root of the problem and not programmed properly. There are several causes of failure ofgovernment to overcome the prostitution problem in Pekanbaru, including: policy content isless focus on the prostitution problem, the government did not proceeds with data, lack of finan-cial support, contra productive programs between local government with the police and TNI,and the policy object is difficult to be given understanding.

The main purpose of this article was to determine the impact on the equilibrium of the local transport system from privileging EVs by permitting them to use bus lanes. The study used two sets of data: information on infrastructure and traffic management; and information on the recorded road network loads and traffic volumes generated by a given shopping centre—the E. Leclerc shopping centre (an important traffic generator within the city of Łódź, Poland). These sets were then used to develop a microsimulation traffic model for the shopping centre and the associated effects on the localised transport system. The model was constructed by means of the PTV Vissim software tool. An initial simulation was conducted that formed a basis for subsequent scenarios (in total, 17 simulations were performed). On the basis of the conducted analyses, it was established that—for the researched part of the transport system—privileging the still rather uncommon battery electric vehicles (BEVs) engendered a marginal deterioration of traffic conditions. At the same time, allowing BEVs to use bus lanes within the chosen research area had no negative impact on bus journey times.
