The research was purposed to know how cognitive dissonance of gay related towards patrilineal culture in Bali. Subjects of this research were two Balinese born gay. Each of the subjects have two significant others. The subjects were selected by theory based/operational construct sampling method to make sure that its represent the real phenomenon and compatible to the purpose of the research. The research used qualitative method with phenomenology approach through analysis model by Purwandari (2007). Method of the sampling was an interview with list of questions based on purpose of the research. The result showed that there was a different level of cognitive dissonance on both of subjects. It was based on their own background and causes of cognitive dissonance. The research also showed that there was a different effort from each of the subject to solved cognitive dissonance.

<p>The research is motivated by the author's desire to know how the students' self-acceptance / acceptance of a problem they are facing. The author uses an individualized psychological counseling approach, which feels suitable to the characteristics of the respondent in order to see his self-acceptance, which is needed in life. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The study was conducted at one of the High Schools in the City of Padang. The subjects in this study were one student. Taking the subject of this study using purposive sampling method. This study uses data collection techniques with interviews and observations. The technique guarantees the validity of the data carried out by building close relationships with subjects and informants naturally and continually making observations. Data analysis technique is done by data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the study revealed that the conditions of self-acceptance of students in the case are as follows: (1) Students have good confidence in their capacity to cope with the environment, and the environment is good (2) Students consider themselves to be different from others, (3) Students consider themselves reasonable and have expectations that others will accept it, (4) Students can be said to be confident, not ashamed or self-aware, as evidenced by the achievements achieved (5) Students can be responsible for each behavior, but also doubt for the future (6) stand alone, this problem lacked opinion students proved that sometimes affected by social pressures from the community / school environment (7) students can receive objective criticism and praise, (8) students are able to accept strengths and weaknesses possessed, (9) Students do not deny all the feelings that arise. But sometimes it can change the mood to negative. So, it can be concluded that students have good self-acceptance.</p>

The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the effect of income, education level and family dependents on the taking of Arrum BPKB financing. By using quantitative research methods, where the population is 235 and the sample used as the subject in this study is 70 customers. The sampling method in this study used simple random sampling method, the data analysis model used multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis and hypothesis testing partially income has a positive and significant effect on the taking of financing, the education level variable also has a positive and significant effect on the taking of financing, and the family dependent variable has a positive and significant effect on the taking of financing. The results of the simultaneous test show that the variables of income, education level and family dependents have a significant and significant influence on taking financing at the Langsa Baro Sharia Unit Pegadaian.

<p>Abstract. Whatsapp (WA) as a new social media changes people's communication in cyberspace. Communication that initially can only be done in the real world, develops with the existence of cyberspace that makes communication can be done without having to meet, and can be done quickly and can be felt as if real. For this reason, this study aims to find out how public communication is before there is WA and after there is WA? Does WA change the concept of social distance for society? This research is important to do so that we know how WA as an active and massive communication media used by the community can change the concept of new social distance in society. The method used is qualitative data collection through interviews with several WA users. This interview was conducted by random sampling method with the selection of informants randomly. The theory used in this study is the theory of social distance. This study found that WA changed communication in cyberspace and WA also changed the concept of new social distance because after massive WA groups were used, people were free to disseminate information and had the right to comment without fear of social distance in the real world. People can also more easily realize their sympathies because groups in WA make it easier for them to carry out information and coordination to be able to carry out activities that show sympathy for others.</p><p><br />Keywords: Communication, Whatsapp, Social Distance</p>

<p>Mosque is the center of Muslim’s worshiping activities, existed from all capability had by its community, and it is also the representation of Muslim’s community that establishes and prospers it. Among the zakat institution that is quite dominant to be the reference of the community is the mosque itself. However, Muslim’s community participation in paying zakat, infaq, and sadaqat is still minimal compared to the amount of community in that region. Therefore, a mosque needs a good financial management and accurate financial information. By implementing accounting in a mosque, it can accelerate the planning and monitoring function in the decision making. Thus, in a good financial management of a mosque, it is important to note about how to manage a good finance and undertake financial information. The objective of this study is to know how mosque receiving officer (Amil Zakat) manages zakat, infaq, and sadaqat. With the aforementioned background, the researcher is interested in taking the title ““The Practice of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqat Management in Management in Masjid Muttaqin, Ternate CitysjidMuttaqin”. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research are five people. The method used is interview and the data gathered by the means of observation, interview and documentation. The research findings suggest that the accountability undertaken by the management because the management realizes that the gained ZIS funds is a trust from people that pray in Mosque, and the generous people so that it should be accounted for. The management executes transparency, which is the information delivered truthfully about the ZIS funds and its benefits so that there is participation from the people who pray in the mosque.</p>

Characterization is a reconstruction of form and meaning as a manifestation of Sundanese cultural identity. Characterization is reflected in story narratives with prose and poetic expressions. Paradoxical figures and characterizations in the carita pantun format give a character description that is manifested in imaginary figures. Characterization is the first step in reconstructing characters. The figure or character is an entity of Sundanese community value in which it manifests in the belief (religion), social, cultural and historical context sublimated to Carita Pantun. Pantun is not only a symbol but a sacred symbol. Generaly there�s no different between Carita pantun and the myths that exist in other countries. Carita pantun is a mythology. This study uses a qualitative method of paradoxical aesthetic approach through descriptive interpretive to provide an in-depth description and interpretation of the subject. The analysis model includes characterization analysis and paradoxical aesthetic analysis through narrative symbols on Carita pantun.

This study aims to analyze the practices of symbolic violence in the news of murder cases accompanied by mutilation in Blitar District. This interest in discussing the phenomenon of reporting is due to the researchers' concern about the phenomenon of 'taught violence' committed by journalists. The practice of violence that is taught is characterized by the style of disclosure of facts about events in an open and massive manner. The research method used is a qualitative method. The data analysis technique is using Robert Entman's framing analysis model. The subject of this research is online mass media www.tribunnews.com. The reason for choosing this research subject is based on the ranking of the number of visitors or online mass media visitors namely www.alexa.com stating that www.tribunnews.com ranks first most visitors as of April 2019. The results of this study are that www.tribunnews.com has done the practice of symbolic violence. This practice is characterized by the style of the arrangement of words that seem dramatic, systematic, accompanied by pictures of the condition of the victim and the victim's family tend to be terrible and repetitive. In addition, photographs and daily lives of victims during their life were also revealed in detail. The condition of the house and family during grieving is also told dramatically. Regarding the profile of the perpetrators of the killings, they received a dominant portion of the reporting. The style of disclosing the fact of the murder incident relies more on news sources from the police. While the performance of journalists who can be expected such as supporting data on the profile of perpetrators to help disclose cases tends to be avoided. Keywords: Mutilation, Frame Analysis, Symbolic Violence

This study aims to describe the analysis of analysis of errors in the language description of students class XI smk ypm 2 park.Residered from the aspect of the contents of the essay, has not seen pouring ideas and ideas of students about the nature, images, and the real phenomenon of an object. In this case, the essay of the student can not be used as a means to represent lan gsung object so that the reader can not interpret and feel directly the object in the description. The phenomenon that occurs in learning writing essay writing description of students of class XI SMK YPM 2 Taman Sepanjang that the learning atmosphere of writing essay description less significant changes. Less effective learning atmosphere and fun for students, especially at the time of application of writing the text of the description text. This is stated based on the percentage of the value of writing ability description of the students of class XI SMK YPM 2 Taman Sepanjang. After conducting this research, the use of sentences is not effective in the description of students class XI SMK YPM 2 Park include: (1) the use of ineffective sentences consisting of the subject relationship with predicate, predicate with the object, and also the selection of words that are not appropriate (2) the use of sentences is not efficient, not sparing due to the use of words that have the same purpose, and also the use of unnecessary words, (3) the use of incoherent sentences, said to be unified if the subject and predicate, as well as description of aspects and elements the sentence is not in accordance with the Indonesian sentence pattern, other than that the sentence is not coherent also due to inappropriate relationship between sentences in paragraphs, (4) the use of the sentence is not careful, if the selection of words in the sentence is not in accordance with the intention to be conveyed.

Entrepreneurship education, as a local curriculum, is needed to enlarge and support the students’ skill. So it is needed modification of conventional education method to obtain information about education strategy of  entrepreneurship at Islamic State PTAIN Jawa Timur  of East Java. Findings obtained from the study are (1) the education process of  entrepreneurship subject in Islamic State PTAIN Jawa Timur  of East Java is given by a master who has profession as a head of official functionary on fisheries institution in PTAIN Jawa Timur .  He organizes the subject in a written summary that will be read in front of the class, (2) the class is started by giving the students real phenomenon to strengthened their view and it will be finished by giving them writing exercise or individual/group task; the students searching many literatures to be resumed. Lecturer is used as a media and the method used are lecture, discussion, and literature, (3) Creating students’ interest into the real phenomenon in order to strengthened students’ view. Pre-test and post-test given in written exercise or individual/group task will generate good studying motivation to each of the students and it also will increase interaction between lecturer and students on the subject studied.

White lies are lying with good intentions without hurting others. Parents sometimes use white lies in communicating with their children. This often happens in golden age child who are active and always want to learn many things. The theory used in this research is cognitive dissonance theory with qualitative method. Data is collected by interview. The subjects in this study were parents of students at Al Ghazaly Kindergarten, Bogor. The results showed that parents use white lies when children ask lots of questions and explore new things. Children curiosity process sometimes makes parents uncomfortable so the way parents reduce their discomfort by using white lies. There are many reasons why parents use white lies, because they want to be quick in answering children's questions, because they were anxiety, and because they think it is not the right time for children to know the real answers. Parents claim they know white lies because it was applied by their parents when they were young.

Based on a Google Trends survey, Indonesia is ranked as the world's top 10 consuming pornographic material for the types of keywords that are related to sex, and an average of 20% of all categories are conducted by student-aged adolescents. This study aims to describe how cognitive dissonance is experienced by women who are addicted to pornography. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected by observation and interview, the subject of the study was a woman who had been exposed to pornography since sitting in elementary school. The results of the study  explained that the source of the occurrence of cognitive dissonance of the subject was due to a discrepancy between the subject's beliefs and assessment of the new environment towards the subject's habit of watching pornographic videos. Cognitive dissonance experienced by women who are addicted to pornography is the emergence of feelings of anxiety, feelings of guilt, sin, feelings of fear are considered 'disgusting', and also feel their behavior is only a waste of time.
