Many people are recently pushing their village to become a tourist village as best as they can. Manggis people has no exception; they also want their village to become a tourist destination. With their uniqueness, of course each village has the potential to become a tourist village. With its quite-high hill and rivers surrounding, its trademark art performances like tayub, sholawatan, and especially jaranan, the community service team of FIB UGM will be doing the best at empowering the local people and guiding them to establish Manggis village as a tourist village. Te frst thing to do is identifying the potentials that Manggis village owned and formulating those potentials to become tourist-worthy, afterward. However, with several limitations, mainly because the village is quite far from transportation centers and crowds, hence the most suitable tourism potential of Manggis village is as a special tourist village, namely to Kampung Jaranan.  =================================================================Saat ini, banyak masyarakat sedang memacu daerahnya untuk sebisa mungkin menjadi desa wisata. Tidak terkecuali masyarakat Manggis yang menginginkan desanya dapat menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata. Dengan keunikannya masing masing, tentu setiap desa berpotensi untuk dijadikan desa wisata. Dengan potensi alam yang berbukit cukup tinggi dan bersungai sertaadanya kesenian khas seperti tayub dan sholawatan, terutama kampung jaranan, maka tim Pengabdian Masyarakat FIB UGM turut mengupayakan agar Desa Manggis dapat dijadikan desa wisata. Hal-hal yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengidentifkasi potensi yang dimiliki dan memformulasikan potensi itu menjadi layak wisata. Namun, dengan beberapa keterbatasan lainnya, utamanya karena desa ini cukup jauh dari pusat-pusat transportasi dan keramaian, maka potensi wisata Desa Manggis yang paling cocok adalah sebagai desa wisata khusus, yaitu Desa Manggis menuju Kampung Jaranan.

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan masyarakat Desa Buluhcina tentang potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan serta peningkatan pengetahuan mempromosikan Desa Wisata Buluhcina melalui media sosial sehingga Desa tersebut menjadi maju dan mandiri serta kesejahteraan masyarakat meningkat. Permasalahan mitra adalah belum dikembangkannya potensi wisata yang dimiliki serta belum mempromosikan desa wisata secara optimal. Hal ini tentu saja berdampak pada rendahnya minat wisatawan berkunjung ke Desa Wisata Buluhcina. Khalayak sasaran adalah perangkat desa beserta masyarakat Desa Buluhcina. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan dalam rangka peningkatan wawasan terkait pengembangan potensi wisata yang ada di Desa Buluhcina dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam mempromosikan wisata Desa Buluhcina melalui media sosial. Hasil yang dicapai adalah peningkatan wawasan peserta terhadap potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan di Desa Buluhcina dan peningkatan pengetahuan dalam mempromosikan wisata Desa Buluhcina melalui sosial media. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasme peserta pada saat pelaksanaan serta peningkatan hasil pre-test.[This program of community service aims to improve the insight of the community of Buluhcina Village about the potential of tourism that can be developed as well as increased knowledge of promoting the Village of Buluhcina through social media so that the village becomes advanced and independent and the welfare of society increases. Partner problems are not yet developed the tourism potential that is owned and has not promoted the tourist village optimally. This of course affects the low interest of tourists visiting the Tourism Village Buluhcina. The target audience is a village device along with the people of Buluhcina Village. The solution is to provide counseling in order to increase the insight related to the development of tourism potential in Buluhcina Village and increase the knowledge in promoting Buluhcina Village tourism through social media. The results achieved are increasing participants' insight into tourism potentials that can be developed in Buluhcina Village and increased knowledge in promoting the tourism of Buluhcina Village through social media. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of participants at the time of execution and improvement of pre-test results.]

Sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu potensi dari kekayaan Indonesia yang menjadi sumber pemasukan devisa negara. Desa wisata menjadi salah satu tren pengembangan pariwisata di Indonesia. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan destinasi wisata paling popular di Indonesia setelah Bali. Dusun Mendiro terletak di Kelurahan Sukoharjo Kecamatan Ngaglik Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta memiliki kebudayaan lokal yang khas dan masih terjaga serta berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai desa wisata alternatif. Begitu banyak potensi yang dimiliki oleh kawasan desa wisata tersebut, namun masih terdapat beberapa hal yang belum dipotimalkan khusunya dalam bidang promosi. Oleh karena itu perlu dilaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat dengan target Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat (KSM) Dusun Mendiro yang bertujuan optimalisasi kemampuan sumberdaya dalam manajemen media promosi desa wisata. Metode pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pembelajaran dan pendampingan masyarakat yang secara detail dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan, yakni: (1) persiapan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) evaluasi dan rencana keberlanjutan program. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi diperoleh informasi adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta pengabdian masyarakat terkait penyuluhan Google Form sebesar 21.01% dan peningkatan sebesar 58.7% untuk penyuluhan media permainan Kahoot. Selain itu, diketahui bahwa secara keseluruhan peserta menyatakan bahwa adanya pelatihan yang diberikan oleh tim bermanfaat yang dapat digunakan oleh peserta untuk mengelola desa wisata dan perlu diadakan kembali.Kata kunci: Desa Wisata; Google Form; Kahoot; Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat.AbstractThe tourism sector is one of the potential wealth of Indonesia, which is a source of foreign exchange income for the country. Village tourism is one of the tourism developments trends in Indonesia. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is the most popular tourist destination in Indonesia after Bali. Mendiro is located in Sukoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, which has a distinctive local culture and is still maintained and has the potential to be used as an alternative tourism village. The tourist village area owns so much potential, but there are still some things that have not been optimized especially in the field of promotion. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out community service targeting the Mendiro Community Groups (KSM) aimed at optimizing the ability of resources in the management of media promotion of tourism villages. This service method is implemented in the form of learning and community facilitation, which is divided into three stages, namely: (1) preparation, (2) implementation, (3) evaluation and plan for program sustainability. Based on the evaluation results obtained information that there is an increase in understanding of community service participants related to Google Form extension by 21.01% and an increase of 58.7% for Kahoot game media extension. Besides, it was known that overall the participants stated that there was training provided by a useful team which could be used by participants to manage the tourism village and needed to be held again.Keywords: The Village Tourism; Google Form; Kahoot; The Community Groups.

Tourist village of Kerta is one of village in Gianyar Regency that the tourist village which has tourism potential that range from cultural, natural, artificial and can be developed as a tourist destination or attraction for tourists. The purposes of this study is to know the identification of the potential of tourist village of Kerta. The location of this research in the tourist village of Kerta, which has the location integrated with agriculture and tourism. The research in the tourist village of Kerta was conducted to discover the potential of the village (cultural, natural, and artificial potential of the tourist village). This research uses techniques of observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysist technique used is descriptive qualitative analysist. The purposive sampling technique using informants and use key informant. The results of this reserch shows that there are a variety of potential tourist villages grouped into three parts, among others, the natural potential (indigenous forests, bamboo forests, paddy fields, citrus plantations and, organic plantations), cultural potential (site sarcophagus, Bali Aga traditions, and Alas Angker Temple), and artificial potential (Puncak Sari campground, tracking and cycling trails, and Munduk Asri). Also accordingly with the potential that is owned by the village and developed on an ongoing basis to achieve positive benefits for the life of the local community. ABSTRAK                Desa Adat Serangan merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan, Bali.Desa Adat Serangan memiliki potensi yang sangat kuat untuk menjadi desa wisata karena didukung oleh pesona alam dan nilai-nilai sosial budaya sebagai destinasi wisata yang maju seiring dengan kemajuan destinasi pariwisata sekitarnya.Dalam menyukseskan hal tersebut, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa Bahasa adalah salah satu aspek yang harus dikuasai, karena bahasa merupakan sarana dalam berkomunikasi dan kenyataan dilapangan tidak semua kelompok kerja dapat berbicara dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris yang komunikatif, salah satunya kelompok penyedia jasa transportasi yang dikenal dengan sebutan “Serangan Transport. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian di Desa ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris kelompok kerja “Serangan Transport” agar lebih komunikatif.Kegiatan pengabdian fokus pada kegiatan pelatihan bahasa Inggrisdengan materi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan komunikasi kelompokdan metode pengajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kelompok “Serangan Transport”. Diharapkan dari pelatihan ini, dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris para penyedia jasa transportasi agar lebih komunikatif dalam berkomunikasi dengan tamu asing yang tentunya akan berdampak pada keberhasilan pihak desa menjadikan Desa Adat Serangan menjadi Desa Wisata Bahari. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di desa Serangan adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi yang fokus pada kegiatan pelatihan bahasa Inggris untuk kelompok sasaran yaitu kelompok kerja “Serangan Transport” di desa Serangan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari masing masing peserta pelatihan, menunjukan bahwa beberapa peserta mendapatkan nilai baik dan sebagian lainnya mendapatkan nilai yang sangat baik.Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa peserta pelatihan dinilai telah mampu mengikuti dan memahami materi – materi yang diberikan dalam pelatihan bahasa Inggris ini. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Bahasa Inggris, Serangan, Desa Wisata, Kelompok Transport  ABSTRACT                Serangan Village is one of the villages in South Denpasar, Bali. This village was located in an island called Serangan Island which was parted from the main island. This village has a great potential to be a tourist village and becoming a flourishing tourist destination which is not inferior to the other destinations since it is supported by the enchanment of its nature and the socio – cultural values. In succeeding this, it cannot be denied that mastering English language is a very important aspect because language is an equipment to communicate,but the fact is not all of the team works have the fluency in spoken English. One of them is the transportation team work called ‘Serangan Transport”.The aim of having this community service in the village, peculiarly in this transportation team work,is to increase the competence in using communicative English. The activities of this community service are focused on the communication needs and the method of teaching the language which is suitable for the team work activities.It was expected that through this course, the English language ability of this team work is increasing, in order to be more communicative when having the conversations with foreign tourists.  This certainly will give influences to the success of forming the Serangan village as the nautical tourist village. The method that used in this program is explanation and discussing focused to larning English in communication for the team work in Serangan village. Based on the result of the evaluation shown that some of the members have got good value and some another got the best value. The village won has tourism potential, namely Petilasan Sri Aji Jaya Baya and star fruit. The purpose of this study was to determine community participation in the development of a tourist village in Menang Village which eventually became one of the sources of economic improvement for the surrounding community. The method used in this research is qualitative because it can provide an overview of community participation in the development of a tourist village. The analysis uses Max Weber's theory of rationality. Max Weber's rationality theory can explain community participation in developing tourist villages. Collecting information by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the research results, there is community participation in the form of ideas, energy, and creativity. This is done by the community to work together to develop the star fruit tourism village in an effort to improve the community's economy.

Kampung Baru is one of the villages in Pekanbaru city that has the potential to develop large marine tourism. Its strategic location on the coast of Siak River and has a cultural reserve "RumahBatin" makes Kampung Baru as one of the new destinations of future historical tourism. The existence of Kampung Baru as a tourist destination is still not well exposed so there needs to be a touch of Science and improvement to accelerate its development. The purpose of this activity is to accelerate the development of marine tourism in Kampung Baru Village, Pekanbaru City. The method used is a survey method to identify activities and counseling methods to convey Science to the community. The stages of the implementation of the activity are divided into three stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of a quick survey conducted, to accelerate the development of marine tourism activities in Kampung Baru through the socialization of halal certificates, making and dividing trash cans, making and enforcing plank boards, planting trees and vegetable seedlings and cleaning inner houses. The implementation of the activity is doing well and on target this can be seen from the community and village officials in supporting this activity. With the integrated KUKERTA (Community Service), the neglected tourism potential of Kampung Baru can be reappointed as a marine tourism. This leads to the fact that the touch of Science through integrated KUKERTA (Community Service) is able to accelerate the development of marine tourism in Kampung Baru.

A clean and healthy tourist village is the main attraction for visitors because the beautiful and clean environment makes visitors feel comfortable. Based on the results of the FGD conducted by the University of Bengkulu LPPM in the village of Rindu Hati, several problems were found, such as the cleanliness of the village, the absence of a garbage disposal site. This of course can cause various problems for visitors and the community, one of which can affect public health and the environment. Efforts that can be made are the Guidance of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS). The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education to the Rindu Hati village community so that they can maintain environmental cleanliness and health through the proper and correct application of PHBS, increase community knowledge and skills in managing household waste and environmental waste, and improve community skills in disease management. environmental impacts and independently in preventing and overcoming the health problems it faces. The methods used are: health education about waste management, training to utilize waste. The participants who took part in this activity were 50 people consisting of environmental groups, PKK cadres, health cadres, village officials, and housewives. The results of this community service activity show an increase in community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and health, this can be seen from the community's ability to implement PHBS and utilize waste that has economic value.

Implementation of tourism destination development policy in Gresik Dsitrict in 2017. This study aims to determine the implementation of development policy of tourist destinations in Gresik regency. The reason this research is conducted is the potential of tourism destinations that support to be used as a place of tourism. The purpose of this study was conducted to find out how the implementation of tourism destination development in Gresik regency as well as to know what factors that drive and hinder the implementation of tourism destinations development in Gresik regency. This research uses descriptive research method using qualitative approach. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this study indicate the existence of existing tourist destinations in Gresik regency management has not been perfected by Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaanbecause of the status of land that still belongs to the village. The driving factor for the development of tourist destinations is tourism potential in Gresik regency proper to be developed into tourism area. While the inhibiting factor is the problem of management that is constrained by the status of land still belongs to the community. Keywords: Implementation, tourist destination, Gresik regency

In overcoming the problems of economic, many rural communities in Gunung Kidul Regency have switched to developing natural asset-based village tourism. The village tourism management is mostly carried out through BUMDes. The problem of developing rural tourism is the problem of tourism promotion, where the process of promoting village tourism tends to be carried out separately, especially through online promotion. It has an impact on tourists who are not easy to find tourist destination maps of villages in Gunung Kidul Regency. This study uses a combination of asset-based approach and integrated information system as an effort to provide a way out to promote the exoticism of natural assets such as beaches, hills, caves, culinary and other assets to be more explored and more heavily promoted among tourists. As a result, tourism promotion which was originally carried out separately has now been integrated, so that a new spirit is created for tourists to visit these tourist sites. The integrated information system makes easier for tourists to see the map and the beautiful charm of a tourist village in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta.

The growing public interest in travelling has become a different strength for the tourism industry currently. The existence of a person on a trip that can be shown on social media can be a force that indirectly becomes a promotional tool. The tourist village that is currently trending is a form of tourism which consists of natural tourism which is integrated with other tours, to provide a unique value compared to additional terms. The Karst area in Maros and Pangkep Regencies has the potential to be used as a tourist area, but currently, these karst areas have been widely used as raw material for the cement industry. One of the villages that has natural karst tourism in Maros Regency is the village of Botolempangan which has been planned by the village government as a tourism village because it has various unique natural resources that can become new income alternatives for the community, so it is essential to be developed as well as a reason to maintain the area. Karst which began to be eroded by industrial companies. The purpose of this study was to identify tourism potential and analyze the development strategy of the tourist village of Botolempangan. The research method used is observation, in-depth interviews and FGD. The analysis used is a descriptive qualitative analysis and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the village of Botolempangan has tourism potential in the form of natural karst tourism, cave tourism (leang), fisheries tourism, Sulawesi endemic monkeys, natural scenery, outbound, camping and educational tours. Based on the SWOT analysis, there are four strategies that can be carried out to develop the tourist village of Botolempangan, i.e. 1). The increased synergy between the government, universities and the community, especially managers in maximizing the supporting factors for the implementation of tourism villages 2). We are managing the Botolempangan karst area into a tourism village that is integrated with nature tourism, fisheries tourism, culinary tours and educational tours 3). Optimizing village budgets to improve tourist facilities and providing education for managers in supporting tourism 4). Increased promotions that prioritize the uniqueness of the region, facilities and the convenience of visiting through social media and partnerships with a local travel.
