The research activity of the Ravello European Center for Cultural Heritage in seismic risk areas is part of the Council of Europe's Major Risks EUR-OPA agreement. The program aims to identify traditional antiseismic building techniques. with a view to subsequent revitalization, tapping know-how within the local community. This requires analysis of the techniques and methods that have developed over the years in local communities. The multidisciplinary research program set up for this purpose has adopted the archeological approach. thereby recognizing that physical and inaterial assets provide a key source of information.

Renewable energy is of great importance for today’s world which is generally produced from natural sources. Countries like Bangladesh has to use this energy to meet their energy demand. Day by day the demand of electricity is increasing in stormy pace but our resource is limited. So using renewable resources i.e. solar power to meet the demand of electricity is highly necessary especially rural and remote areas. This paper examined the nature and extent of solar energy in Boyarjapha village of Paikgachha Upazila of Khulna district to analyse the effects of solar panel in their daily life. Many positive impacts of solar power were found out such as better quality lighting, education, entertainment, communications, business, increasing working hours, women empowerment, increasing awareness etc. There are a few bad effects of solar energy too. But Government intervention is a must to ensure better quality results in coming future. Similarly, government has to take serious steps to advertise solar electricity in remote areas of Bangladesh

The innovation in the energy sector involves the use of renewable resources and the transition to eco-energy, which requires a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages for the economically sound choice when deciding on the energy strategy for each region. The use of alternative energy sources in Russia and the world is analyzed, which brings us to a conclusion that Russia is currently in an intermediate position in this area. Measures are proposed in orderd to strengthen the government support for Eco energy. It is held that the development of solar energy will play the largest role in the innovative development of the Republic of Tatarstan. The article is devoted to the problems of solar energy in Russia and Tatarstan respectively, as well as to the prospects for its development based on the proposed legislative, investment, financial and organizational solutions. The article provides a methodology for the comprehensive and effective adaptation of foreign experience in the field of alternative energy and a roadmap for the implementation.

The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester has a long legacy of excellent patient care and innovation in the neurosciences. The department's founder, Dr. William Van Wagenen, was a direct pupil of Harvey Cushing and the first president of the Harvey Cushing Society. His successor, Dr. Frank P. Smith, was also a leader in organized neurosurgery and helped to permanently memorialize his mentor with an endowed fellowship that today is one of the most prestigious training awards in neurosurgery. The first 2 chiefs are honored every year by the department with memorial invited lectureships in their names. The department is home to a thriving multidisciplinary research program that fulfills the lifelong vision of its founder, Dr. Van Wagenen.
