There is a consensus in the Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring research community on the importance of public datasets in furthering load disaggregation research. Nevertheless, despite the considerable efforts to release public data, not many steps have been taken towards homogenizing how these are made available to the community and providing seamless access to the available and future datasets. In this paper, we present the Energy Monitoring and Disaggregation Data Format (EMD-DF64). EMD-DF64 is a data model, file format, and application programming interface developed to provide a unique interface to create, manage, and access electric energy datasets. The proposed format is an extension of the well-known Sony WAVE64 format that supports the storage of audio data and metadata annotations in the same file, thus reducing the number of artifacts that have to be maintained by the dataset users.

Colorized physical terrain models are needed in many applications, such as intelligent navigation, military strategy planning, landscape architecting, and land-use planning. However, current terrain elevation information is stored as digital elevation model file format, and terrain color information is generally stored in aerial images. A method is presented to directly convert the digital elevation model file and aerial images of a given terrain to the colorized virtual three-dimensional terrain model, which can be processed and fabricated by color three-dimensional printers. First, the elevation data and color data were registered and fused. Second, the colorized terrain surface model was created by using the virtual reality makeup language file format. Third, the colorized three-dimensional terrain model was built by adding a base and four walls. Finally, the colorized terrain physical model was fabricated by using a color three-dimensional printer. A terrain sample with typical topographic features was selected for analysis, and the results demonstrated that the colorized virtual three-dimensional terrain model can be constructed efficiently and the colorized physical terrain model can be fabricated precisely, which makes it easier for users to understand and make full use of the given terrain.

The paper deals with a description of the creation of CAD model (file format .IGES) based on polygon mesh (file format .STL) obtained by 3D scanning. On the basis of the imported polygon mesh into Reverse Engineering software, it is possible to create surface (or solid) CAD model. For CAD model created from a polygon mesh, a model of screw propeller was chosen. The paper also presents a color deviation map acquired by comparison between a polygon mesh and a CAD model. The 3D digitizing was performed by 3D scanner GOM ATOS II SO TripleScan; GOM ATOS Professional v7.5 SR2 software was used for processing of the scanned data and Delcam PowerSHAPE 2015 CAD software was used for reverse modeling.

Pedigree for Windows is a user-friendly program that allows the user to trace agronomic characteristics, draw pedigrees, and view images of several fruit crops, including more than 1400 apple, 800 strawberry, 800 almond, 100 blackberry, 80 blueberry, 790 pear, 200 raspberry examples. Pedigree Import Wizard®© for Windows is an add-on software for users who are interested in importing their research or breeding data records of fruit, flower, and plant characteristics and any related images into Pedigree for Windows. Pedigree for Windows and Pedigree Import Wizard have been designed so that a user familiar with the Windows operating environment should have little need to refer to the documentation provided with the program. Pedigree Import Wizard uses a comma-separated value (csv) file format under the MS Excel environment. This option allows the user to add or import additional data to the existing database that are already stored in other software such as Lotus, Excel, Access, QuattroPro, WordPerfect, and MS Word tables, etc., as long as they work under the Windows environment. A free demo version of Pedigree and Pedigree Import Wizard for Windows is available from http://www.pgris.com.
