Social re-adaptation of people with criminal record and former prison inmates is a complex process conditioned by various factors. This article views the concept of social stigmatisation as both a phenomenon and a process. Individuals with criminal record have always been victims of social labelling irrespective of progressive changes in their behaviour. Labelling attitudes of social surroundings do not contribute to the elimination of criminal identity, but – on the contrary – they consolidate such an identity, thus, complicating construction of a new social- and self-identities. In the context of the solutions presented in the article concerning the problem of the stigmatisation of former prisoners, the society needs to realise the negative consequences of this phenomenon.

Social distancing and mass quarantines were implemented worldwide in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Prior research on the effects of social isolation has shown that such measures bear negative consequences for population health and well-being. Conversely, a growing body of evidence suggests that feeling positively identified with a group is associated with a range of physical and mental health benefits. This effect is referred to as the social cure and generalizes to various identities. In line with these findings, this study tested whether national identification could promote wellbeing and physical health during the COVID-19 pandemic. To do so, we used survey data conducted among 67 countries (N = 46,450) which included measures of wellbeing, national identification, and subjective physical health. Mixed-model analyses revealed that national identity was indeed associated with wellbeing - despite adjustment on social belonging, COVID-19 perceived risk, exposure, and ideology. This effect did not extend to subjective health. These results suggest that the mere feeling of belonging to a national group may have mental health benefits and could be leveraged by governments. We discuss the implications of our findings within the social cure framework and their relevance for population mental health under COVID-19.

Socialization occurs not consciously through a complex process of interactions where emotions, values, attitudes, feelings and own context cultural patterns are integrated. This process generates a relational climate that should be conducive to learning and well-being for all people in the group. The school, educational institution, favors the relationships within the group framework and reconstructs previous learning with a variety of models and the educational action led by the faculty. The amplitude of the classroom group creates situations of great complexity and offers many opportunities to prevent the violence from the knowledge of situations that may involve risks and relational vulnerability and relational difficulties especially for some people. The factors that can hinder relations and create an improper relational climate include the social and learning difficulties and cultural differences. The climate cannot be changed individually but it is modified from the dynamics led by the adult person who has the responsibility to help the group learn to relate and that each individual has their space of belonging. We present data from a population of 10891 students in primary and secondary education and the analysis of some factors affecting the climate of the group.

In modern psychological and pedagogical science, the concept of "socialization" is interpreted as the process of development and self-development of a person during the assimilation and reproduction of socio-cultural experience. And, of course, it is very important to ensure the successful socialization of the younger generation. In the modern world, the problem of social development of the younger generation is becoming one of the most urgent. Parents and educators are more concerned than ever about what needs to be done to ensure that a child entering this world becomes confident, happy, intelligent, kind, and successful. In this complex process of becoming a person, a lot depends on how the child adapts to the world of people, whether he will be able to find his place in life and realize his own potentialAt first glance, it seems that the social world of a preschool child is small. This is his family, adults and peers, whom he meets in kindergarten. However, the people around the child enter into a variety of relationships — kinship, friendship, professional and labor, etc. Therefore, even at preschool age, children need to form an idea of the diversity of human relations, tell them about the rules and norms of life in society, and equip them with behavioral models that will help them adequately respond to what is happening in specific life situations. In other words, it is necessary to manage the process of socialization.

Background: At present, new technologies provide numerous benefits in their correct use, while the need arises to study the consumption of some technologies, in this case, videogames, due to the negative consequences that they can cause in those subjects who have not yet consolidated their personality due to their excessive use. The study aimed to determine and establish associations between the dimensions of self-concept and the problematic use of videogames and their gender differences. Methods: A total of 525 university students participated in this study, representing 44.7% of the male gender and 55.3% of the female gender, with an average age of M = 20.80 SD = 3.12 years old. The instruments used were the CESR and AF-5 questionnaires. Results: The results reveal the association (p ≤ 0.05) between the problematic use of videogames and the dimensions of self-concept, showing that students with severe or potential problems have lower levels of self-concept. In addition, it has been found that men have more problems associated with the use of video games than women. Men have a greater physical and emotional self-concept, while women have better social self-concept. Conclusions: This study highlights the inverse association between self-concept and problematic use of video games, a fact that shows the need to develop intervention programs aimed at improving self-concept and to reduce the problematic use of video games. Likewise, the levels of self-concept reveal that men have higher scores in the emotional and physical dimension, while women stand out in the social dimension.

Since the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted most people’s activities and relationships. Romantic relationships are a crucial source of fulfillment and emotional safety for many individuals. However, due to the risk of illness and the social distancing norms, human interaction, even inside one’s couple or family, suffered great changes. Some of these changes have the potential of disrupting people’s relational or psychological well-being, but they can also have positive impacts. On the other hand, one of the most negative consequences is the growing number of intimate partner violence (IPV) incidents. Considering all these aspects, therapy would be beneficial for those affected.

The main result of the presidential elections in Uzbekistan held on October 24, 2021 was that President Sh. Mirziyoyev received a mandate to further implement his economic and political course which provisions were set out in his election program. In the elections opponents of the president, representing in general pro-government parties, were unable to provide an effective alternative to the president's program, which, moreover, accumulated many of their proposals. In the next five years, the republic which economy is the fastest growing in Central Asia will face further economic reforms. Their effect will largely depend on the objective conditions associated primarily with the pandemic. The social program of the president, if it is actually implemented, can help smooth out the negative consequences of market reforms. Mirziyoyev’s foreign policy reflected new geopolitical landmarks of the Central Asian countries, including Afghanistan and Turkey. At the same time, the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Russia is increasing, indicating the desire of Tashkent under the leadership of Mirziyoyev to maintain balance in relations with leading foreign policy players. As a result, it can be stated that today the President of Uzbekistan has strong positions both within the country and abroad.

Baduy Community is very obedient to local rules/custom, e.g. lunang (sundanesse to express obedience to whoever the winner), and ngasuh rati, ngayak menak. Surprisingly, the voter number in Baduy have increased from 2013 to 2014. They have their own mechanism in determining leader, that is by deliberation among customary figures. The social-political changes make-up the result of their construction change toward reality. The issue in this study is how Baduy community (re-)construct general election. This one aims to understand Baduy’s  construction to electoral activities, their understanding to the obligation to participate in election, and the adaptation process of different realities (reality in Baduy and Reality in external). By harnessing the Social Construction of Reality introduced by Berger, and Social Adaptation System introduced by Giddens, this research show Baduy objectifies and participates in general elections as an obedience to the customary rules. Understanding about obligations to participate in election is legitimized by customary institution, regarding dualism of different structure, they must adapt theirselves to different realities.

The method of the social investing of the Arctic subsoil users is considered in this article. As the portfolio of social investments is formed based on the interests of indigenous peoples, the authors used expert assessment and sociological research for social investing modeling. A two-stage procedure for forming a portfolio of such projects is proposed. An approach has also been developed for assessing and selecting investment projects for the Arctic sustainable development according to different criteria of optimality. The authors substantiate the need for a new approach to sustainable development of the Arctic, based not on compensation for the negative consequences of industrial development used in many countries, but on social investment. In this article the proposed approach is tested on the case of the Arctic indigenous community in Taimyr and the optimal social investing portfolio is justified.

A questão do planejamento curricular se apresenta como um dos elementos centrais quando se reflete a respeito do complexo processo de ensino-aprendizagem escolar, particularmente da Educação Básica. Nessa perspectiva busca-se responder aos questionamentos por que fazer, o que é e como fazer um projeto de currículo para o ensino escolar com princípios da interdisciplinaridade e, em consonância com essa problemática, alcançar os objetivos de expor razões favoráveis à adoção na prática docente desse paradigma pedagógico, de mostrar alguns de seus traços conceituais e de sinalizar caminhos para sua efetivação. Com base em aspectos teóricos e metodológicos de pesquisadores sobre o fenômeno da interdisciplinaridade e sua relação com a organização curricular, empreendeu-se uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico, descritivo e analítico. Acredita-se que os pressupostos conceituais, as luzes pedagógicas e as reflexões apresentadas no trabalho possam contribuir para aprofundamento da compreensão do tema pelos atores sociais que pensam e atuam na educação do Brasil. Palavras-chave: Processo de Ensino e Aprendizagem. Educação no Brasil.   AbstractThe issue of curriculum planning is presented as one of the central elements when reflecting on the complex process of school teaching and learning, particularly in basic education. From this perspective, seeks to answer the questions why to do, what is and how to make a curriculum project for school teaching with interdisciplinary principles and, in line with this problem, achieve the objectives of exposing reasons favorable to adoption in practice. teacher of this pedagogical paradigm, to show some of its conceptual traits and to signal paths for its realization. Based on the theoretical and methodological aspects of researchers about the phenomenon of interdisciplinarity and its relationship with the curricular organization, a bibliographical, descriptive and analytical research was undertaken.
