If there is a stack in a service center, then the customers need to form a queue. There are increasing number of consultations in a specific time at Student Advisory Center (SAC) Bina Nusantara University. The increased needs for consultation lead to high waiting time that must be passed by the students who need the service. Therefore an information system queue is required to replace the current manual queue process. This study aims to create an automation using six stages FAST Methodology which includes Scope Definition, Problem Analysis, Requirement Analysis, Logical Design, Decision Analysis, Physical Design and Integration. The results of this research is the design of the application queue screen can be applied to SAC Bina Nusantara University.

While the development of information technology is very influential for the progress of a business, promoting a business that is owned, then one of them by using an ecommerce website. E-commerce is a trading activity carried out online through a website. Problems in electronic adjunct stores Stores still use a conventional system where if a buyer wants to buy the desired item, the buyer must come directly to the store and this condition makes marketing and sales hampered by distance and time. In addition, the promotion at Arjun Electronics Store has not been fully implemented properly because it is only done by directly informing buyers who come to the shop. the purpose of this research is to produce a system that can provide ease of introducing products in the electronic adjuncts and sell all electronic products for household needs. With e-commerce site that is able to provide information about goods to customers quickly through internet network technology. Where asthe FAST method is a fairly flexible framework for various types of projects and strategies. System development with the FAST method is carried out sequentially which includes the stages of scope definition, problem analysis, needs analysis, logical design, decision analysis, physical design and integration, construction and testing, insralation and delivery, The results of this study in the form of website-based e-commerce optimization. With this website, stores can expand marketing, consumers become easier to get information about goods without having to come to the Electronic Adjunct Store and with the (e-commerce), the store can facilitate the conventional transaction process that has been conventional to be modern and can certainly make it easier to create sales reports that were previously still manual.

AbstractWe developed a method to identify potential astro-tourism sites by considering parameters characteristically relevant to astronomical observation such as air quality, dark sky quality, annual average cloud coverage, as well as terrain feature. Applying this method on Indonesia by perusing data from Geographic Information System and applying Multi Criteria Decision Analysis we identify a number of potential astro-tourism sites. We cross correlate this with Indonesia Tourist Destination to produce a list of recommended sites. Fulfilling the astrotourism criteria is one sure way towards sustainable tourism.

This paper investigates a multidisciplinary framework that simulates design decisions in a complex team-based product development in which engineers simultaneously work in a team project and individual projects. The proposed framework integrates cooperative and noncooperative design models with (1) equilibrium analysis, (2) uncertainty modeling based on behavioral game-theory results, and (3) decision-making using decision analysis. In the proposed framework, noncooperative design is used to simulate engineers’ decisions about team project commitment and to analyze potential free-riding; cooperative design is used to model design outcomes when engineers collaborate in the team project; equilibrium analysis and behavioral game-theory results are used to infer about other engineers’ decisions; and decision analysis is used to calculate expected values of decision alternatives. The proposed framework and the design decision-making model are illustrated using a pressure vessel design as a team project conducted by two engineers: a design engineer and a materials engineer.

Sanitary landfill remains the most common methodology for final treatment and disposal of municipal solid waste worldwide, the cost per tonne depends on its scale. The bigger the landfill, the cheaper the cost of treatment, so the consortium of municipalities is the solution to achieve an economic scale. However, the growth of waste production introduces pressure for adequate solutions and therefore has been increasing sanitary landfill site selection studies. This study proposes a methodology for siting sanitary landfills and optimising the transport of municipal solid waste for a locality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Environmental, social, and economic criteria were established. Their correlated attributes were categorised into suitability levels and weighted according to multiple decision analysis. The data were organised and mapped within a geographic information system. Considering sites where landfills are prohibited, two scenarios were generated. The Mixed-Integer Quadratic Programming mathematical model is used to minimise the costs of transporting municipal solid waste and operating sanitary landfills. In Scenario 1, the results indicated that 64% of the area was suitable as a potential sanitary landfill site, 9% of the area exhibited medium suitability, and 27% of the area was classified as restricted. In Scenario 2, the results indicated that 25% of the area was suitable as a potential sanitary landfill site, 4% of the area had medium suitability, and 71% of the area was classified as restricted. The optimal solutions for Scenario 1 and Scenario 2 enabled sites to be determined for five landfills and four landfills, respectively.
