One of the results of the exploration of corncobs is a cylindrical module. In this research, the cylindrical module will be used as a component in the chair, so that the search for the right technique and appropriate design will be made so that it can become a strong unit to be used as a chair. So, the purpose of this design process is to produce an appropriate chair design and in accordance with the techniques in utilizing cylindrical corncobs module, to get a compromise value from the novelty with module assembly techniques that must be able to function properly. The role of research for Design Project 5 and Professional Work is to find and test the material of corn cobs woven with rope as a component of a chair's seat base. The research method used was an experiment. The results showed a novelty and obtained a product made from corncobs in the form of a cylinder that can function well as a chair component.

A capital budgeting model with multiple criteria and multiple decision makers (MCMDM) is more likely to provide realistic solutions than linear or goal programming models. This paper adopts a fuzzy approach to solve MCMDM capital budgeting problems. This approach is based on two fundamental human cognitive processes: (i) all decision makers who are involved in the capital budgeting problem have goal setting and compromise behavior for seeking multiple criteria, and (ii) each decision maker has a preference for the budget availability level. A solution procedure is proposed to systematically identify a fuzzy optimal selection of possible projects that can not only reach the best compromise value for the multiple criteria, but also use the best budget availability level according to the multiple decision makers’ preferences. The optimal selection can help the firm make a realistic decision regarding its strategic investment. A comparison study of the fuzzy approach with other approaches shows the advantages of using the fuzzy approach.

We have used laser Doppler imaging to monitor the microcirculation of replanted digits during the post-operative period in 103 patients who underwent either replantation after traumatic amputation or toe-to-finger reconstruction. The blood flow (perfusion unit) in each revascularized digit was compared with that of an unaffected digit. The perfusion index was defined as the perfusion value of a revascularized digit divided by the perfusion value of the neighbouring normal digit. The ideal threshold value of the perfusion index (0.397) was calculated by determining the receiver operating characteristic curve with optimal sensitivity and specificity. The corresponding Youden’s index was 0.828. We believe that by establishing a threshold, that laser Doppler imaging should provide a reliable and objective assessment for the development of perfusion compromise in revascularized digits. The article is devoted to the study of object detection in ima­ges using neural networks. The structure of convolutional neural networks used for image processing is considered. The formation of the convolutional layer (Fig. 1), the sub-sampling layer (Fig. 2) and the fully connected layer (Fig. 3) are described in detail. An overview of popular high-performance convolutional neural network architectures used to detect R-FCN, Yolo, Faster R-CNN, SSD, DetectNet objects has been made. The basic stages of image processing by the DetectNet neural network, which is designed to detect objects in images, are discussed. NVIDIA DIGITS was used to create and train models, and several DetectNet models were trained using this environment. The parameters of experiments (Table 1) and the compari­son of the quality of the trained models (Table 2) are presented. As training and validation data, we used an image of the KITTI database, which was created to improve self-driving systems that do not go without built-in devices, one of which could be the Jetson TX2. KITTI’s images feature several object classes, including cars and pedestrians. Model training and testing was performed using a Jetson TX2 supercomputer. Five models were trained that differed in the Base learning rate parameter. The results obtained make it possible to find a compromise value for the Base learning rate para­meter to quickly obtain a model with a high mAP value. The qua­lity of the best model obtained on the KITTI validation dataset is mAP = 57.8%.

In this paper reasonable payoff intervals for players in a game in partition function form (p.f.f. game) are introduced and used to define the notion of compromisable p.f.f. game. For a compromisable p.f.f. game a compromise value is defined for which an axiomatic characterization is provided. Also a generic subclass of games in extensive form of perfect information without chance moves is introduced. For this class of perfect extensive form games there is a natural credible way to define a p.f.f. game if the players consider cooperation. It turns out that the p.f.f. games obtained in this way are compromisable.

Five approaches in conflict resolution are distinguished, based on cooperativeness and aggressiveness in resolving conflict. Compromise based on cooperativeness is emphasized here as a solution in conflict resolution. Cooperative game theory oriented towards aiding the conflict resolution is considered and the compromise value for TU(transferable utility)-game is presented. The method VIKOR could be applied to determine compromise solution of a multicriteria decision making problem with noncommensurable and conflicting criteria. Compromise is considered as an intermediate state between conflicting objectives or criteria reached by mutual concession. The applicability of the cooperative game theory and the VIKOR method for conflict resolution is illustrated.
