Abstract The research established that new business conditions have radically changed relations between the participants in the transport process. The Coronavirus Disease Pandemic (COVID-19) has revealed the lag of most maritime enterprises in the digitalization process. The problems of interaction and competitions caused by the transformation of stereotypes of behavior of transport services consumers have become more acute. The need for new approaches to optimizing port terminal operations has determined the purpose of the research. The problem is multifold, that is why the article analyzes statistics; a survey of top managers of companies providing port services was conducted. The key requirements of customers are the speed of service, organization of terminal operation on the concept of the Internet of Things, digital competence of company employees that affects the speed and quality of services.In order to optimize terminal operations, the authors suggest applying a mathematical model providing the competent planning of terminal operations with a given probability of customer service. The authors suggest increasing the cooperation between employers and educational institutions in the development of digital competence in students and application of the Internet of Things in the Maritime Industry.

The paper presents the optimization possibilities of port terminal operations in order to generate maximum gain. Planning these processes is a demanding daily task taken on before dealing with port management, since transhipment operations, cargo loading and dispatching, maintenance and control of transhipment and transportation means are subject to hardly predictable and unexpectable stochastic conditions under which planning optimal terminal operations will include the examination of stochastic processes on the terminal. A model of states and transitions with gain and a model of optimal strategies in terminal management are set up. Furthermore, a model for determining the structure of transhipment equipment is developed. The devised models were adapted to the specificities of a port terminal and tested using the sample of a general cargo terminal. Santrauka Straipsnis nagrinėja uosto terminalo operacijų optimizavimo galimybes, siekiant didžiausio pelno. Šių procesų planavimas – kasdienis daug pastangų ir laiko reikalaujantis uždavinys, kurį reikia išspręsti prieš pradedant uosto valdymo operacijas, nes perkrovimo darbai, krovinių pakrovimas ir išsiuntimas, perkrovimo ir transportavimo priemonių eksploatavimo išlaidos bei kontrolė vyksta sunkiai prognozuojamomis ir nenumatytomis atsitiktinėmis sąlygomis, kai optimalių terminalo operacijų planavimas terminale apima dar tik įvyksiančius procesus. Darbe pristatomi struktūrinis ir optimalios terminalo valdymo strategijos modeliai. Be to, straipsnyje plėtojamas modelis, padedantis nustatyti perkrovimo įrenginių struktūrą. Pristatyti modeliai buvo pritaikyti uosto terminalo specifinėms reikmėms ir išmėginti naudojant bendrąjį krovinių terminalo pavyzdį. Резюме Исследуются возможности оптимизации операций в портовом терминале с целью получения максимальной прибыли. Планирование таких процессов – обыденная задача, требующая множества усилий и затрат времени. Эта задача должна быть решена перед определением операций по управлению портом, так как разгрузочно-погрузочные работы, погрузка и отправление грузов, эксплуатационные расходы и контроль перегружающего и транспортирующего оборудования ведутся в трудно прогнозируемых и зачастую непредвиденных случайных условиях. Представлены структурная модель и модель оптимальной стратегии по управлению терминалом. Кроме того, представлена модель, позволяющая определить структуру перегружающего оборудования терминала. Представленные модели были приспособлены для специфических условий портового терминала и реализованы на примере в обобщенном грузовом терминале.

Az Európai Unió 2002-es „Egy tematikus talajvédelmi stratégia felé” című közleményében definiálta a talaj funkcióit és a talajainkat veszélyeztető legfontosabb nyolc tényezőt, melyek a következők: erózió, talaj szervesanyag-csökkenés, talajszennyezés, talajlefedés, talajtömörödés, talaj biodiverzitás csökkenés, szikesedés, árvizek és földcsuszamlások. Az „Environmental Assessment of Soil for Monitoring” (ENVASSO) Projekt az EU 25 tagállamának részvételével, egy harmonizált módszertan kidolgozását tűzte ki célul a talajtulajdonságokban bekövetkező változások nyomon követésére. Ennek érdekében minden egyes talajt veszélyeztető tényező vizsgálatára egy indikátor hármast (TOP3) dolgozott ki. A talajainkat veszélyeztető nyolc tényező közül a talaj biodiverzitás csökkenésével foglalkozunk részletesen, melynek legfontosabb kiválasztott indikátorai: a földigiliszta (BIO1) és ugróvillás (BIO2) diverzitás (fajdiverzitás), és a mikrobiológiai talajlégzés (BIO3) (biológiai funkció). Kutatásunk célkitűzése az volt, hogy az ENVASSO által javasolt módszertan kivitelezhetőségét teszteljük a Szent István Egyetem Tangazdaságában egy eróziós katéna mentén. Megállapítottuk, hogy a talaj biodiverzitása csökkent az erózió mértékének növekedésével, valamint a módszertan megfelelő tervezéssel alkalmas monitoring célra.
