This paper presents the results of a study to evaluate the efficacy of scientific visualization for multiple categories of users, including both domain experts as well as users from the general public. Efficacy was evaluated for understanding, usability, and aesthetic value. Results indicate that aesthetics play a critical, but complex role in enhancing both user understanding and usability.

This study aims to describe the function and style of the mural by Arnis Muhammad. Mural as art in public space, which means that the space for movement and the target audience for the audience and audience is the general public. As a two-dimensional work of art, mural is also inseparable from style. Visually, the style in a work of art is the selection of objects, techniques, colors, and environmental conditions, time, era, and environmental conditions in which an artist creates his work. The population in this research is that all of Arnis Muhammad's mural works for the 2017-2019 period are 51 works. In this study the authors took samples using purposive sampling technique. The reason for taking samples is the number of mural works that still exist and are still intact. There are 10 mural works in the research location. In this case, the writer examines these mural works based on their function and style. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The function of the mural by Arnis Muhammad is a personal function as a reflection of the resonance of the environment in which he lives. Social function, as a form of concern for the environment and the surrounding community in everyday life. Physical function, as an aesthetic value enhancer and the various ways the general public use it. Arnis Muhammad's murals tend to have a surreal and decorative style.

ABSTRACTInteractive visualizations are used widely in the natural sciences to facilitate discovery in “big-data” research. This article introduces a project that applies the same data-driven discovery approach to politics. Lawmaking is a complex process that can be difficult to convey in a constructive way, whether the audience is the general public, students, or researchers.Legislative Explorer(available athttp://www.legex.org) visualizes the progress of more than 250,000 congressional bills and resolutions introduced since 1973. Users of all abilities can engage with actual data to discover how bills become law. Filters designed by domain experts guide them toward key insights. It is our hope thatLegislative Explorerpromotes greater understanding of a much-maligned institution.

This article investigates the variety that typifies visualizations of the H5N1 virus. It argues for virus visualizations to be examined as products of processes, instruments, and socio-cultural assumptions, rather than as mere illustrations. Visualization unfolds through a series of tensions between two contending forces. The first implements normative rules and cultural narratives. The second seeks to escape them. This double tendency recurs at every stage of the visualization process. It is only by considering all stages of visualization that one can understand both its complex socio-technical articulation and the concerted role played by laboratories, graphic studios, and the general public in modulating and co-producing these tensions.

This paper considers the fundamental problem of artificial lighting in various types and scales of industrial facilities, focusing on exterior lighting design solutions. There is a lack of interest from investors, customers and society in highquality lighting design for industrial facilities in Russia, which in many cities are very imaginative structures, practically unused in the evening. Architectural lighting of various types of installations is illustrated with photographs. The purpose of the article is to draw attention to the aesthetic value of industrial structures, provided not only by the architectural, but also by a welldesigned lighting solution.

Errors that occur in solving problems in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa) such as the presence of leaf patches, fruit rot, perforated leaves, and insect pests can be the cause of not maximum in harvest time. The farmers and the general public who planted strawberry (Fragaria Xananassa) need to know the proper treatment of diseases and pests so that future yields as expected. Therefore, it takes an application as a solution in the delivery of information related to the problems that are often encountered in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa). Methods of production rules can be used to diagnose the disease strawberry (Fragaria Xananassa) based on signs or symptoms that occur in the parts of plants and strawberry, the results of diagnosis using this method are the same as we do Consultation on experts.  The purpose of this study was to determine the early diagnosis of disease in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa) based on signs or symptoms that occur in the plant and fruit parts. The results of the analysis of this study showed that the validation of disease and symptom data in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa) reached 99%, meaning that between the data of symptoms and disease understudy the accuracy was guaranteed with the experts.
