Quality human resources will affect the quality of an Islamic educational institution. One of the influential human resources in the development of Islamic educational institutions is the teacher. The principal as the leader of an educational institution is tasked with conducting an assessment of teacher performance. This article aims to explain the importance of teacher performance supervision activities in Islamic education institutions and how the results of teacher performance supervision in developing Islamic education institutions. This research is included in the research with a qualitative approach. It was concluded that the results of supervision of teacher performance are very important in an Islamic educational institution, and the results of supervision of teacher performance can develop the quality of Islamic education institutions.

The problem that is the subject of the study in this study is the madrasah chief's strategy in implementing supervision to improve the quality of Islamic education, and the factors that influence it. This study uses a qualitative approach, and the instruments used in data collection by researchers include interviews, observation and documentation. The informants from this study are the Heads, Waka, Teachers and Students. The technique used to check the credibility of the data is the extension of the presence of the researcher, in-depth observation, triangulation, detailed description and analysis of negative cases. The results of the study show that the madrasah chief's strategy in implementing supervision to improve the quality of management of Islamic education institutions is to use several methods, which are varied and some of the approaches taken by the head of the madrasah which can then improve the quality of education in this educational institution, then the other is to use an approach individuals, group approaches, educational approaches, religious approaches or religious approaches, fulfillment of school facilities and infrastructure, appreciation of student learning and so on. While the factors that influence the madrasah chief's strategy in implementing supervision to improve the quality of Islamic education institutions are positive factors which include the existence of adequate human resources, student awareness, and also the existence of cooperation between existing education practitioners, complete facilities and infrastructure, then the teacher's creativity in teaching.

To determine the quality of teacher performance, an educational institution must conduct a process of evaluating the performance of its teachers. MTsS YASPI College Foundation Labuhan Deli is one of the educational institutions that always improves the quality of education in schools. Teacher performance appraisal at Labuhan Deli YASPI schools is still done conventionally, so there are many assessment criteria and it takes a long time to evaluate the teacher's performance. This study aims to optimize the teacher performance appraisal process to be faster and more precise. The method used is Profile Matching. The results of this study can determine the teacher's performance more precisely by 100%. So that this research can be recommended as an appropriate system in evaluating teacher performance in schools

It is necessary for Islamic educational institutions to have the power of changing themselves to be able to take part in determining the ideal and success of national education. Precisely, today, Islamic educational sys­tem is perceived weak and powerless in the dynamic of social changes have been occurring in the society. Even, this situation, it is frequently assumed as the burden of national education. Why can it be so? Aren't Islamic educational providers are also referring to the only one Law, that is, Law Number 20 year 2003 regarding National Educational System? What is wrong with Islamic education ? How is the quality of human resources of these providers? This article tries to answer those questions. This article also deals with analogue of Islamic Education as a subsystem of national education with family system in Islam. Fam­ily is a system. Child is a subsystem of the family. The more the child is matured and independent the better his/her family is.

Abstract This study intends to explain the portrait of educational institutions fostered by Muslimat Education Foundation (YPM) NU in Kediri Regency, and try to describe the effectiveness of Muslimat NU in Kediri Regency in improving quality. This study seeks to describe in depth the problems in accordance with the data obtained in the field and on the interpretation of researchers. Muslimat NU is one of the organizations of many organizations in the community. Muslimat NU is a community organization and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama whose task is helping to implement policies on women members. Among YPM's work programs in order to improve the quality of education in the district of Kediri are improving the quality of Al-Qur'an Kindergarten and play group, including on managerial aspects, facilities and infrastructure, administration, curriculum and Human Resources (teachers, managers and employees). Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam tentang permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut sesuai dengan data yang diperoleh di lapangan dan atas penafsiran peneliti. Muslimat NU merupakan salah satu organisasi dari sekian banyak organisasi yang ada di masyarakat. Muslimat NU adalah organisasi masyarakat dan merupakan badan otonom Nahdlatul Ulama yang bertugas membantu melaksankan kebijakan pada anggota perempuan. Diantara program kerja YPM dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang ada di kabupaten Kediri adalah; Peningkatan kualitas Taman Kanak-Kanak dan Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an, di antaranya pada aspek manajerial, sarana dan prasarana, administrasi, kurikulum dan Sumber Daya Manusia (guru, pengelola dan karyawan). Educational institutions in which there is an educational process, have a function not only in the aspect of developing science, but also have a mission to improve the quality of personality through good character. In this position, the teacher has a role in instilling inclusive values (tasamuh) in the learning process that can be applied in everyday life as well as the process in developing the potential of their students. Each educational institution or each teacher will have different tasamuh values in each habituation or teaching. Get used to communicating with others using the language of unity, namely Indonesian, helping each other, not blaming others, especially fellow Muslims, especially other religions, and respecting different principles and respecting others. This study focuses on the views of Islamic Education teachers about the concept of tasamuh and the actualization of the tasamuh attitude of Islamic Education teachers in the learning process at SMK NU Lamongan, MTs Putra Putri Lamongan, SD NU Banat-Banin Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. This study shows that teachers play a role in developing tolerant attitudes to students in the school environment, social groups and even the community, through habituation and learning Islamic Education. The teacher's perspective on inclusive attitudes also plays a role in shaping the personality of students to be more open and respect all differences.

It is undeniable that the competition between Islamic educational institutions in globalization era is getting stronger and sharper, not only companies that compete, in the world of education can not be separated from the name of competition, so from here then the name of human resources Islamic education should be really encouraged to race toward the quality of human resources of Islamic education better and have a strong competitiveness, especially in the current globalization era. Human resources of Islamic education should be demanded continuously to be able to develop themselves actively and have the initiative to continue to think more advanced. The human resources of Islamic education here, must really be the human resources of Islamic education who have a high commitment to learning, have a strong willingness to guard the change towards the better, they must have a high work ethic and full of spirit without stopping to learn, so that their potential can be developed and can be felt by himself, especially Islamic educational institutions that desperately need their fighting spirit, in developing and advancing the institution in globalization era.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Mutu Sekolah TK Melalui akreditasi se-kecamatan Pucuk Rantau Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan melalui metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui akreditasi di kecamatan Pucuk Rantau Pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan khususnya Pendidikan bagi anak usia dini perlu dilaksanakan dan dibenahi secara sungguh-sungguh. Sebab secara umum berdasarkan dari seluruh standar penilaian TK di Kecamatan Pucuk Rantau  belum begitu baik. Hal Ini terlihat dari berbagai hambatan seperti Kegiatan akreditasi yang dilakukan belum dipahami secara penuh oleh seluruh TK yang ada di kecamatan. Sosialisasi yang masih kurang sehingga berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan kepada anak didik. Keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana yang ada serta keterbatasan pengetahuan administrasi di sekolah menjadikan hasil akreditasi tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Masih terbatasnya biaya operasional sekolah sehingga gerak percepatan perubahan akreditasi juga lambat. Oleh sebab itu seluruh aspek harus diberdayakan  baik sumber daya manusia maupun sumber daya lainnya yang merupakan kunci utama dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan.      Kata kunci : Mutu Sekolah, Akreditasi Abstract This study aims to determine the quality improvement of kindergarten schools through accreditation in the Pucuk Rantau district of Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the results of research conducted through descriptive methods with a qualitative approach to improving the quality of schools through accreditation in Pucuk Rantau subdistrict Management of educational institutions, especially education for early childhood needs to be implemented and addressed in earnest. Because in general, based on all the standards for the assessment of kindergarten in Pucuk Rantau District, it has not been so good. This can be seen from various obstacles such as the accreditation activities carried out not yet fully understood by all kindergartens in the sub-district. Inadequate socialization that has an impact on the quality of service to students. The limitations of existing facilities and infrastructure and limited administrative knowledge in schools make the accreditation results not in line with expectations. The limited operational costs of the school so that the acceleration of changes in accreditation is also slow. Therefore all aspects must be empowered both human resources and other resources which are the main keys in improving and developing the quality of education. Keyword: School Quality, Accreditation

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya, baik sumber daya manusia seperti kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan wali murid, maupun non manusia yang meliputi pemerintahan dan kurikulum dalam pengaruh peningkatan mutu pembelajaran kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Nglipar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 2 Nglipar, guru kelas IX, siswa kelas IX, dan orang tua atau wali siswa kelas IX. Dalam penelitian ini prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan cara observasi serta wawancara.Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi dan smartphone sebagai alat perekam dan dokumentasi. Dari data hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa aspek-aspek yang berpengaruh dalam peningkatan mutu kelas IX pada masa pandemi COVID-19 dibagi menjadi lima aspek, yaitu dukungan pemerintah, kepala sekolah yang efektif, kinerja guru, kurikulum, serta dukungan dari wali siswa yang dari keseluruhan aspek saling bekerja sama. AbstractThis research aims to find out the management and utilization of resources, both human resources such as principals, teachers, students, and students’ parents, as well as non-human who include government, and curriculum in the influence of improving the quality of learning grade IX in SMP Negeri 2 Nglipar. This research uses descriptive research with qualitative approach type. The subjects in this research are the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Nglipar, grade IX teachers, grade IX students, and parents or guardians of grade IX students. In this research, the data collection procedure used is by observation and interview. Research instruments in this research are researchers (human instruments), observation sheets, interview sheets, and smartphones as recorders and documentation. From the data of the research, it was concluded that the aspects that influenced the quality improvement of grade 9 during the COVID-19 pandemic were divided into five aspects, namely government support, effective principal, teacher performance, curriculum, and support of parents with all aspect cooperate with each other.

Before the establishment of the Islamic Kingdom of Langkat, the people there have embraced Islam. This is because Langkat is adjacent to Aceh, which had already been ruled by an Islamic empire and it broadcast Islam to various regions, including the east coast of Sumatra. The Kingdom of Langkat, especially after relocated its Capital  to Tanjung Pura, had made Islam as a main reference and political legitimacy of the Sultan and the Kingdom in general. As a consequence, Islam is practiced by the majority of Muslim community and reflected in various fields. At the beginning of the 20th century in East Sumatra there emerged publicly funded educational institutions, including those in Langkat. However, religious subjects are not officially acknowledged. Seeing this situation, the Sultan and other Muslims felt responsible for establishing an independent Islamic educational institution. Although Islamic education was preiously taught to Muslim children, but its implementation was largely limited in mosques or private homes. The Kingdom was destined to improve the quality of Islamic education through building an independent educational institution.Keywords: Education, Islamic Empire, Langkat, Sumatera, Indonesia Sebelum berdirinya kerajaan Langkat, masyarakat di sana telah me­me­luk agama Islam. Hal ini dikarenakan wilayah Langkat berbatasan dengan Aceh yang telah memiliki kerajaan Islam dan menyiarkan Islam ke berbagai daerah, terutama di pantai timur Sumatera. Kerajaan Langkat terutama setelah berpusat di Tanjung Pura, menjadikan agama Islam sebagai pedoman dan legitimasi terhadap kebijakan-kebijakan sultan dan kerajaan secara umum. Masyarakat yang mayoritas beragama Islam dalam berbagai dinamika kehidupannya mencerminkan perilaku keislaman yang kuat. Di awal abad ke-20 M di Sumatera Timur banyak berdiri lembaga pendidikan umum, termasuk di Langkat. Namun demikian, pelajaran agama secara resmi tidak dibenarkan. Melihat keadaan ini, sultan dan umat Islam lainnya merasa bertanggungjawab untuk mendirikan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berdiri sendiri. Meskipun pada masa sebelumnya pendidikan Islam tetap diajarkan kepada anak-anak Muslim, namun pelak­sanaannya masih berlangsung terbatas hanya di masjid atau rumah-rumah pribadi guru. Oleh karena itu Kerajaan Langkat terdorong untuk mening­katkan mutu pendidikan Islam dengan membangun lembaga pendidikan yang berdiri sendiri.Kata kunci: Pendidikan, Kerajaan Islam, Langkat, Sumatera, Indonesia

<p><strong><em></em></strong><em>The study of the history of Islamic education in Indonesia is a study that should continue to be able to give ibrah for development and improvement of the quality of education. This dynamics is the metamorphosis, a process towards perfection. Based on a historical perspective, Islamic educational institution found that Indonesia is still experiencing a metamorphosis is less perfect. This indicates that the Islamic educational institutions should hold first settled towards perfect metamorphosis, a process that ushers in the institution of Islamic institutions on excellence and advancement. This paper attempts, identify the metamorphosis of the Islamic educational institutions as well as find aspects of the imperfections of the process metamorfosisnya. The results of this paper will, be insightful while discourse and early action to improve the image and quality of the institutions of Islam.</em></p>
