The motivated this research is by the still low development of attention concentration ability in early childhood.The purpose of this study is to develop a model of selective attention playing for children in group B kindergarten Al Ittihaad Bekasi. The study was a Research and Development (R&D), developed by Borg & Gal. Model development through three stages is (1) needs analysis process, (2) product development process, and (3) tesing process.After the experimental process in the research as well as input from teachers using this model,has been very encouraging and axpert advices add the finishing touch.The model effectiveness tes showed a significant increase in the process of assisting children with low selective attention ability. Estafet Bait Lagu Model is consist of guide book, medias, and assesment. Keyword: The ability of selective attention, development, play model, estafet bait lagu   Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah  masih rendahnya perkembangan kemampuan pemusatan perhatian pada anak usia dini. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model permainan pemusatan perhatian pada anak-anak di kelompok B TK Al Ittihaad Bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D), menggunakan desain yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Pengembangan model melalui tiga tahapan yaitu (1)proses analisis kebutuhan,(2) proses pengembangan produk dan (3) proses pengujian. Setelah dilakukan beberapa kali uji coba, masukan dari guru pengguna model ini sudah sangat menggembirakan dan sentuhan terakhir dengan menambahkan pendapat dan masukan pakar. Pengujian efektivitas model memperlihatkan terjadi peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dalam hal proses membantu anak-anak yang memiliki kemampuan pemusatan perhatian yang rendah. Model Estafet Bait Lagu terdiri dari buku panduan, media, dan penilaian. Kata kunci; kemampuan pemusatan perhatian, pengembangan, model permainan, estafet bait lagu

Using the four Biotechnology Uses and Development surveys of Statistics Canada, the chapter examine the importance of collaborating with firms and public institutions at various stages of product development, from research and development to clinical trials and then on to production and commercialization. The models examine the propensity to have products at a particular stage of development using instrumental variables probit regressions. This chapter finds that while small firms do not benefit from collaborating with firms at the research and development stage, during the clinical trials and in the production phases, collaborating with firms has a strong positive effect. The factors that affect the R&D phase are R&D expenditures, an important IP strategy, revenues from contracts and to some extent contracting out some innovation activities. In later stages of the development process, the number of patents and the diversity of the biotechnology employment team play a more crucial role.

<p class="AbstractText">The use of technology in innovative product design process is becoming very accelerative all over the world. Following that, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) must practice innovative operations due to the fact that they have financial and technical incapabilities. In spite of all the essentialities, researches showed that research and development (R&amp;D) expenditures of SMEs are under 5% in 2015. Focusing on SMEs, it was observed that R&amp;D infrastructure of them is extremely weak. Research conducted in 2015 in Turkey, according to R&amp;D expenditures of firms showed that first ten enterprises in the list were multinational, so not SMEs.</p><p class="AbstractText"> </p><p class="AbstractText">Open innovation is very fundamental for SMEs to keep their competitive advantages. Nowadays, important multinational firms have left their closed structure about R&amp;D and innovation practices. As a result of this; firms have started to behave accordingly to open innovation systems. In open innovation, all the external partners should participate in the business processes. However, there are not enough researches about it.</p><p class="AbstractText"> </p><p class="AbstractText">The purpose of this paper is to design product development processes of SMEs using mobile technologies. The system which was allowed the effects of external partners was designed for it. According to data collected through in-depth interviews with experts and literature review, the points are given by customers were taken into account and analyzed. The analysis process was applied according to selection criteria specified.</p><p class="AbstractText"> </p><p class="AbstractText">Recently, open innovation has been provided by the "contestification" method. Contestification is the method that enables users to participate in an ideation contest and all the users have right to vote for ideas. As a result of this, innovative ideas come to realize. Despite of the importance as mentioned, there are few researches about the application of contestification method via mobile technologies. For this reason, contestification method was used to accelerate the product development process in this study.</p><p class="AbstractText"> </p><p class="AbstractText">This research sheds light on the contribution of the users for the product development process. In the measurement process, it was observed that SMEs needed this kind of research for the efficient decision making with less financial resources and method developed made the analysis process easier.</p>

When developing products, engineering designers often face the problem that their candidate for a technical solution, ranging from a concept to a detailed design, needs to be analyzed by a design analyst before it is approved or rejected and the engineering designer can continue his/her activities within the product development process. If engineering designers have to send every solution candidate to a design analyst, a lot of time and money is lost. To avoid this, some Swedish companies have started to allow their engineering designers to use the analysis capabilities imbedded in modern CAD/CAE software. In the literature on product development and on computer based design analysis (CBDA) both processes are fairly well described. However, this cannot be said about the interaction between the two processes. This is a growing issue as it represents core knowledge for developing efficient and effective integration concepts, which in turn can be developed into likewise efficient and effective approaches on how to assist the engineering designer to perform parts of the CBDA process on his/her own. Note that when we refer to CBDA here, this is confined to the use of FEM in the development of products, primarily based on working principles originating from the area of Mechanical Engineering. Since we have been working on a process model for the integration between engineering design and design analysis, this has inspired us to utilize findings from these efforts to propose a conceptual model for a design analysis process driven by the engineering designer to be integrated into the product development process. The proposed design analysis process model is based on the use of predefined analysis methods or templates. Templates are also utilized for QA (Quality Assurance) and monitoring of the analysis activities. Responsible for the development of the analysis methods and the templates are expert design analysts, who develop these tools within a technology development process. Before allowing the engineering designers access to them, these tools need to be approved by relevant bodies within the industrial enterprise and/or by external sources such as those responsible for certification and risk management. In this paper we present the development of the proposed integrated design analysis process model and an industrial case study, which incorporates a non-linear design analysis activity, utilizing the FEM-program Abaqus within the CAD-software Catia V5 and its imbedded optimization module.

An accurate understanding of users' needs is essential for the development of innovative products. This article presents an exploratory method of user centered research in the context of the design process of technological products, conceived from the demands of a large information technology company. The method is oriented - but not restricted - to the initial stages of the product development process, and uses low-resolution prototypes and simulations of interactions, allowing users to imagine themselves in a future context through fictitious environments and scenarios in the ambit of ideation. The method is effective in identifying the requirements of the experience related to the product’s usage and allows rapid iteration on existing assumptions and greater exploration of design concepts that emerge throughout the investigation.
