From the perspective of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary synthesis, there was studied the conceptual and methodological certainty of the existing approaches to understanding digital transformation. The author proceeds from the fact that digital transformation is not only the new technology (artificial intelligence, blockchain, data analysis, Internet of things etc.), but also a deep transformation of the basics of life, the structure of organizations and enterprises, society as a whole. In other words, it is a fundamental transformation of traditional models of life organization, construction, and development of a new reality, which is not always tolerant to humans. Thus, digital transformation is considered as essential characteristic of the modern era, the formation of which was influenced by a number of factors of social dynamics. The key factors are informatization and total digitalization. These processes caused formation of new sociality, which was different from the previous types of civilizational development with a sharp increase of the role of temporal and artificial component in the structure of social-biological evolution. In conditions of intensive social dynamics, choice remains an essential characteristic of new sociality. At the same time, the subjective side of social choice is changing: it is not an atomic personality, group, institution, but a high tech social practice taken from the point of view of the system of interaction of agents that realize the social-economic expediency in line with intensive innovation transformation. There is substantiated the increasing importance of modern social-humanitarian knowledge as conceptual-categorical and methodological base of reflection and prediction of the processes of formation of new sociality. In the structure of scientific-methodological reflection, there is actualized the transdisciplinary status of philosophical knowledge and its potential in connection with new instrumental-technical capabilities of cognitive practice.

Tech-friendliness in this new era is an important quotient considered and the persons’ acceptance towards the technology frequency matters a lot. But still the frequency varies from person to person, this brought in the concept of Technology Acceptance Model given by Fred Davis in 1989. The theory of TAM is based on two theories that are Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behavior, TAM is extended version of these two. Green Banking is a new technology introduced by the banks that focuses on the growth of Sustainable development and Banking system too. Thus, banks ask their customers to use it or practice it in their daily life transactions. But every customer has their own point of view on the usage of Green banking. Thus, the research aims to understand the customers’ perception towards the Green Banking for this TAM is used. The research states that Perceived risk is the primary factor that is followed by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that impacts the decision to use green banking. Thus, the behavioral intention results in actual use of green banking usage for which people are trying to accept the new technology. So, the banks have earned points for creating awareness among their customers but still they have to work hard and clarify their customers’ problems and vanish that hitch that is stopping them to use green banking easily.

This qualitative study examines the digitisation of HRM in a cloud-based environment. The influencing factors for the transformation from conventional HRM to eHRM are examined with a special focus on the success factors from a strategic to the operational level. Additionally, an in-depth analysis of the currently existing and new HR metrics which emerge during the transformation takes place. The study is based on interviews with HR experts with extensive experience in transforming and working with the new technology. Active participation of the HR department is relevant for the success of the digital transformation HRM project. HR metrics have not been applied extensively so far and are used less for controlling and optimizing HR processes. New metrics would increase the acceptance of the new technology and thus the success of the overall HR transformation. The main contribution is related to the field of HR software adoption of cloud-based solutions.

Despite the fact that the Taíno people of the Caribbean were the first Native Americans to encounter and coexist with Europeans after 1492, there has been almost no archaeology of Taíno response to that encounter. This study explores the reasons for (and consequences of) this neglect, and their larger implications for American contact-period archaeology. It also challenges prevailing historical models of Taíno social disintegration, drawing upon six years of archaeological work at the En Bas Saline site in Haiti, the only extensively excavated Taíno townsite occupied both before and after contact. Our results, organized by a household-scale analytical framework emphasizing Taíno constructions of gender and class, suggest that there were few major alterations to traditional Taíno social practice during the post-contact period, and most of these were related to activities thought to have been the domain of non-elite Taíno men. It is suggested that the relatively nonspecialized gender roles among the Taíno, as well as the clearly differentiated nature of their social classes, may have served as mitigating factors in the disruption of Taíno cultural practice under Spanish domination. This work also reveals a marked Taíno resistance to the incorporation of European cultural elements, which provides a striking contrast to the Spanish patterns documented in contact-era European towns, and underscores the critical importance of incorporating gender relations into studies of culture contact.

Abstract The present paper is concerned with the lecture hall as the natural home of lecturing. We will focus on constructed, designed and equipped space as a material and communicative manifestation of science which fundamentally contributes to the multimodal practice of lecturing. Taking an interactionist point of view, we start off with introducing our concept of architecture-for-interaction which aims at spatial built-in features as a resource for social interaction, namely for situational anchoring among those present. In a second step, we identify key architectural elements of the lecture hall as material sediments of communicative problems connected with the social practice of lecturing. In doing so, we will also give a high-level overview of the historical development of the lecture hall (and its precursors) since the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Age. Turning to current data from lecturing in times of the pandemic, we will then deal with so called „ghost lectures“ behind closed doors. This current development brings out a refiguration process due to which the lecture hall undergoes a change from the classical auditorium with copresent participants to a multi-media hub allowing for tele-present participants.

As part of the digital transformation of various areas of human activity, the urgent task is to transform existing business processes (BP) in order to increase their variability according to the needs of the customer, to increase productivity, quality and competitiveness of products. The introduction of end-to-end digital technologies allows for this. The article examines the experience of transforming the BP of experimental research in solving a number of applied tasks in the field of electronic instrumentation, which is obtained as a result of the introduction of operation technology for test, research and laboratory equipment based on the concept of multitenancy. Developed on the basis of the experience of the authors, a number of industrial samples and prototype multiuser distributed measurement-control systems implementing this concept have allowed to transform the following processes: end-to-end BP of tests on-board electronic equipment of spacecraft (communications, relay, navigation, geodesy, remote sensing, etc.); BP of forming the operational load of the spacecraft's on-board relay complex; BP of conducting experimental laboratory research in the industry training system. The effectiveness of modernized BP was evaluated on the basis of their formalized models and a set of qualitative indicators. The key resulting effects of transformation: improving the quality of BP by improving the informativeness of individual business functions and the efficiency of the use of high-tech experimental equipment; reducing the number of gaps in BP by reducing the number of business roles involved in their implementation; reducing the duration of BP by significantly reducing material and time costs and improving the productivity of individual business functions; transition to a service model "Laboratory As Service" for access to high-tech equipment while performing experimental laboratory studies based on digital educational environments.
