In the art market, it is a real possibility that the conduct to be adopted in the preservation of contemporary art cannot be put into practice without secession with the conservation and restoration guidelines. The aim of this study is to analyse if the most prominent professional guidelines fit into the market framework, or if it is possible to find divergences or reasons to lay aside in commercial practice. The work compared the fundamental guidelines with the practical objectives of the art market, qualitatively analyzing the results with the personal testimony collected from the agents of the national market on the issue raised. From this analysis, it was possible to identify the need for diagnostic models balanced with the safeguard of the commercial circumstance of the assets, seeking to develop a line of diagnostic guidelines that offer analytical usefulness to the conservator, in actions in the context of the contemporary art market in Portugal.

Compounding herbal medicine that lives in modern times does not automatically release the traditional cultural values ??that have become a hereditary convention, which includes the value of folklore as a spirit of life. They continue to make new innovations to adjust to their times. Innovation does not mean eliminating traditional values, but through traditional change begins. This is done not by setting aside traditional systems that have taken root for decades, but instead by using cultural thinking and traditional values ??tools to direct the vision, mission of Madura herbal medicine from the past to the future. The herbalist of Madura herbal medicine as an agent who sees the importance of putting Madurese cultural values ??on every practice of making Madura herbal medicine. Local cultural values, such as genealogy, oral transmissions and folklore values ??have long given a color to Madura herbal medicine. Both traditional and more recent audiovisual carriers degrade. Even CD-ROMs have typically only a ten-year expected life span. In addition, playback equipment for both analogue and digital carriers will ultimately grow scarcer and more expensive to repair or replace. Archives and museums are inevitably faced with the decision of whether to preserve audiovisual carriers after their content has been digitized. This paper o ers a draft decision- making framework developed by the Flemish Institute of Archiving (VIAA). Assuming that an institution already has a digital collection management system in place, the proposed framework addresses the concepts of favourability, possibility, value, preservation conditions and the risk for other carriers through a series of questions. The paper also addresses the disposal of carriers, should an organization decide that disposal is in the best interests of its collections.
