On the global scale, the market of aesthetic medicine increased in the years 2015–2016 by 8.2% on average, while in Poland by 12–15%. The reasons for the strong development of the Polish market may be related to a systematic increase in the number of affluent Poles [3], ease of access to aesthetic medicine treatments, a change in the way of thinking about this type of treatment, and increased awareness of the appearance and striving to preserve a young and beautiful look. The share of new patients in the cabinets of this industry is a proof of great interest in aesthetic medicine procedures. In 2017, new patients accounted for between 25% and 50% of all patients. From an economic point of view, current economic conditions with forecasts of further growth of the aesthetic medicine market are the premise for undertaking activity in this industry. To take full advantage of the potential of the facial cosmetic surgery, it is worth taking care of all possible aspects of its functioning — high competences of medical staff, as well as economic aspects of running such activities, including identification of possible risks in order to avoid them.

The relevance of the work is due to the increase in the number of hospital infections associated with antibiotic-resistant gram-negative pathogens on a global scale. For medical institutions, both from a clinical and economic point of view, the catastrophic situation is that the multidrug-resistant pathogens increasing leads to limited possible treatment options. Analysis of published scientific articles shows that today the strict epidemiological surveillance and the study of the pathogen resistance profile in each medical facility is an effective tool for controlling the growth of multidrug-resistant microorganisms, thus reducing morbidity and mortality.

AbstractIn this model-based contribution it will be shown, that creating overcapacities can be a rational business strategy for restricting political risks. Companies can establish capacities at several locations in order to create threatening possibilities for the case of a location raising its tax price. By threatening to remove the production, companies can avoid to become the victim of some locations′ tendency to extortion. In this contribution the question will be attended how such excess investments are to be assessed from an economic point of view. Further it will be asked which political instruments can be used by locations to signal a long-lasting stability of economic conditions to potential investors in a credible way.

The article is devoted to the role of HR audit in creating an effective HR policy in the context of innovative transformations. Since the role of a person in production is constantly increasing, personnel management is becoming the most important factor in modern management. The staff is not always ready for changes and so-called innovations (changes) in the organization or enterprise. HR audit helps to build the work so that it is most effective both from an economic point of view for the organization itself, and in psychological and social terms for the staff. The structure and some criteria of HR audit are described. Possible results of the audit in the field of personnel and stages of its implementation are given.

Spain has been highly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is reflected at different scales. From an economic point of view, lockdowns and the reduction of activities have damaged the country (e.g., complete lockdown from March 13 to June 21, 2020). However, it is not clear if the associated environmental impacts could be observed in 2020. Currently, studies on the effects of the lockdown (e.g., decrease in economic activities, transport and social communication) on specific parameters related to climate change, such as air temperature or air pollution, due to a drastic decrease in human activities are rare. They are focused on specific cities and short periods of time. Therefore, the main goal of our research will be to assess the records of air temperature and air quality during the whole of 2020 compared to references from previous years (30 years for air temperature and 10 for air quality). We paid attention to the possible effects of the reduction of activities (e.g., tourism and transport) in March, April and May and the different restrictions of each lockdown in Spain. To achieve this goal, five urban climate stations with long-term time series within the most populated cities of Spain were analyzed (Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga, Sevilla and Valencia). We conclude that it is possible to affirm that the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the atmospheric conditions in 2020 are not clear and not strictly focused on the lockdown or reduction of activities in these urban areas. No evidence of a reduction in the annual air temperature was found, and only a minimum reduction of rates of pollutants was registered in the highly populated cities of Spain. Therefore, it is worth confirming that these changes could be affected by other factors, but on a global scale and not directly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Considering recent studies on the relationships between air pollutants, temperature and the spreadability of COVID-19, green policies must be further imposed in urban cities, since temperatures do not stop increasing year by year.

This research titled is work relationship terminated employees legal protection to get severance payment from PT. Kertas Lecess related to law of bankruptcy and law of labor. The position of the worker or labor can be seen in two aspects, namely in terms of juridical and socio-economic aspects. From a socio-economic point of view, workers need legal protection from the state for the possibility of arbitrary action by entrepreneur. The form of protection provided by the government is by making regulations that bind workers and employeee, in this case there is Law Number 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Delaying Obligations of Debt Payment Jo. Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Labor Jo. MK Decision No. 67 / PUU-XI / 2013PT. The regulation is used as a basis for employees of PT. Kertas Lecess to sue the BUMN to be declared bankrupt and responsible for paying severance for its employees. PT. Kertas Lecess is a state-owned enterprise (BUMN), which went bankrupt in September 2019. There are around 1800 workers who must receive termination of employment. The value of severance payment for workers affected by layoffs is around Rp. 300 billion. Employees affected by layoffs protest because they have not received severance payment and even 1,900 employees who have not received their salary for 4 years. PT. Kertas Lecess was decided  bankrupt by the Surabaya Commercial Court as a result of the cancellation of the peace proposal submitted by 15 of his employees on September 25, 2018. With the above considerations, the Panel of Judges of the Surabaya District Court, decided to grant the request for a cancellation of peace (Homologation) and stated that PT. Kertas Lecess is proven guilty of negligence for the non-payment of the salaries of PT. Kertas Lecess employees.

From an economic point of view, a ration coupon can serve at least three purposes: it can control the movement of people from one place to another, thereby easing employment, housing and transportation problems; it can distribute basic necessities, such as foodstuffs, more evenly in times of scarcity; and it can shift purchasing power away from certain goods, thus helping to maintain stable prices on these goods during periods of inflationary pressure. However, while each of these goals can be analysed in a narrowly economic framework, it is important to consider their political consequences as well. Inflation, for example, may cause political discontent even before it brings about economic dislocation. Any consideration of Peking's rationing policies, therefore, must touch on both the economic and non-economic aspects of the problem.

The purpose scope of this paper is to analyse the economic aspects of making 3D printing components for the development of machine for experimental devices or stands used in laboratory or industrial activity. The author of this paper intends to make a clarification related to the approach of the productive economic aspects through the production of components through the additive technology of SLA type. The work is structured in 5 chapters. For the generation of the constructive elements, a laser printer will be used, where the components will be generated on the bottom-up principle. The analysis will be carried out both from a constructive and functional point of view, taking into account possibilities of component design and their realization. The next chapter is allocated to analysing how to perform the printer's command program and to check the part structure. Part of this chapter is devoted to the way and role of the elements of orientation and support of the component that is being made. The fourth chapter presents the economic calculation program made with practical applications related to the parts generated in the previous chapter. The last chapter is allocated to the conclusions and comparisons from the technological-economic point of view compared with other specific technologies for generating the analysed parts.

To implement any successful policy, research about the subject-matter is essential. Lack of knowledge would result in failure and, from an economic point of view, it would lead to a waste of scarce resources. The book under review is essentially a manual which highlights the use of research for development. The book is divided into two parts. Part One informs the reader about concepts and some theory, and Part Two deals with the issue of undertaking research for development. Both parts have 11 chapters each. Chapter 1 asks the basic question: Is research important in development work? The answer is that it is. Research has many dimensions: from the basic asking of questions to the more sophisticated broad-based analysis of policy issues. The chapter, in short, stresses the usefulness of research which development workers ignore at their own peril.
