This experimental study determined the weight of wire used in power supply using the laboratory technique and procedure to gather data. There were two designs with three treatments each, prepared and subjected to using the Two Way Analysis of Variance. The treatments for the first design were: one is 1 1/8 inch by 1 1/8 inch area and output voltage of 6 volts; two is 1 1/8 inch by 1 1/8 inch area and output voltage of 36 volts; three is 1 1/8 inch by 1 1/8 inch area and output voltage of 110 volts. The treatments for design number two were: one is 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch area and output voltage of 12 volts; two is 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch area and output voltage of 12 volts; three is 1 inch by 1 inch area and output voltage of 12 volts. The test result of significant differences in the effectiveness, efficiency and performance of the different treatments showed no significant difference on windings, temperature, voltage, size of the iron core, current, power, number of turns, turns per volt and force applied in winding.

Penambahan nutrisi perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertumbuhan jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus). Salah satu bahan yang dapat digunakan adalah serbuk jagung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan serbuk jagung pada komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan miselium bibit F1 jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) dan mengetahui konsentrasi serbuk jagung yang paling baik digunakan pada pertumbuhan  miselium bibit F1 jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus). Penelitian ini mengunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan sehingga diperoleh 12 satuan percobaan; P0 (perlakuan kontrol), P1 (25%), P2 (50%), dan P3 (100%). Variabel yang diukur adalah persentase pertumbuhan miselium yang diamati pada hari ke-6, 12 dan 18 dan waktu penyebaran miselium Hari Setelah Inokulasi (HSI). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analysis of variance (ANOVA) dengan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pada pertumbuhan miselium bibit F1 jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) dengan penambahan serbuk jagung pada komposisi media tanam. Selain Itu, konsentrasi serbuk jagung yang memberikan hasil yang paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan miselium adalah P2 dengan konsentrasi 50%. Kata kunci : miselium F1; Pleurotus ostreatus; serbuk jagung  ABSTRACTAdditional nutrition needs to be done to increase the productivity of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) growth. One of the materials that can be used is corn powder. This study aimed to determine the effect of corn powder on the planting medium composition towards mycelium growth of oyster mushroom F1 seeds (Pleurotus ostreatus) and to find the best concentration of corn powder to grow mycelium seeds F1 oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). This research was an experimental study using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments namely; P0 (control treatment), P1 (25%), P2 (50%), and P3 (100%), and 3 repetitions so that obtained 12 experimental units. The variables measured were the mycelium growth percentage on days 6, 12, and 18, and the mycelium widespread time after the day of inoculation. The data were analyzed using ANOVA then continued on the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. The results showed that the addition of corn powder on oyster mushroom growing media affected mycelium growth of the oyster mushroom F1 seeds (Pleurotus ostreatus). It also found that the P2 with a 50% concentration of corn powder gave the widest mycelium growth.  Keywords: corn powder; mycelium; Pleurotus ostreatus

Abstract Background: The safe, principled, and standard handling of anticancer drugs can reduce the effects of occupational exposure and promote safe behaviors in nurses. Thus, the present study aimed to determine the effects of standard guidelines education on the safe handling of anti-neoplasm drugs among oncology nurses in Ardabil, Iran.Methods: The quasi-experimental study with one-group pretest-posttest design was performed among 32 nurses employed in the oncology wards of two educational hospitals in Ardabil city, during 2020. All of the nurses in the wards who met the inclusion criteria participated in the study. The data were collected by using a demographic information form and nurses' knowledge assessment questionnaire regarding the standard guidelines for working with antineoplastic drugs, and a standard checklist for examining their performance in this regard. Then, they were analyzed through descriptive (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient) in SPSS 22.Results: The mean and standard deviation of the knowledge and performance scores of the oncology nurses was respectively determined 59.56±6.41 and 18.96±2.54, which changed to 66±4.82 and 32.03±2.45 three months after training. The results of t-test represented a statistically significant difference between the level of knowledge and performance before and after the intervention (P=0.001).Conclusions: Based on the results, the standard guidelines education improved the nurses' knowledge and performance on the safe handling of anticancer drugs in the chemotherapy wards. Therefore, it is suggested to pay attention to the promotion of the oncology nurses' awareness in the planning and policy-making of healthcare centers.

Master control chip, through detecting the change of photosensitive resistance, control the duty ratio of PWM wave, In order to achieve LED brightness can be adjusted automatically with ambient light, Protection of the power transformer is perfect, efficiency > 85%.

This study discussed the feasibility of developing a system to circulate the heat loss from the coil and iron core of the power transformer equipped for buildings during power supply to the heat recovery unit. This study affixed a copper tube into the transformer insulating oil, allowing the water to circulate at normal temperature in the coil tube, and absorb the heat energy generated by the transformer coil and iron core. The heat energy was then recovered and stored. A low tension power transformer (7.5 KV) was used in the experiment. The operation was carried out in transforming power supply mode to seek for the most suitable recovery unit for various occasions. The test results showed that if the hot water recovery efficiency is 50%, in the course of producing hot water, the mean temperature of 17.5 L normal temperature water can be increased from 20°C to 50°C, thus producing 12.5 kJ heat only spends about 34 min. The results proved that the recovery unit for the heat from the power transformer can benefit from heating, prolong the transformer's lifetime, increase the power supply efficiency, and reduce the air conditioning load to save energy and to reduce global warming.

The objective of this experimental study is to investigate the effect of using Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) technique on students’ speaking at SMAN Model 12 Banda Aceh. Furthermore, it is also to investigate the students’ responses toward the implementation of SAVI technique in teaching speaking at SMAN Model 12 Banda Aceh. Two classes (respectively 33 students) are chosen as the sample. The students in experimental class were taught by using SAVI technique and the students in control class were taught without using SAVI technique. The data about the students’ ability were collected through giving test. Meanwhile, the students’ responses toward teaching speaking by using SAVI were collected by giving questionnaires. The data from test were analyzed by using SPSS version 23. Meanwhile the data from questionnaires were analyzed by using percentage formula suggested by Sugiyono (2015). The finding showed that using teaching speaking by using SAVI technique significantly improved students’ speaking ability, especially their speaking sub-skills. The study proved the improvement by the result of z-test in which the z-score for post-test result of experimental and control class is 3.73. It was found against the hypothesis that there is a significant difference in speaking achievement between the students who were taught by using SAVI technique and those who were taught without using SAVI technique at second year students of SMA 12 Banda Aceh.

With TL494 as the drive chip, MCU controlling output voltage, output current, parallel module average flow, over-current protection, it gives priority to BUCK circuit topology to realize parallel switching power supply. This article introduces the system design, the hardware and software design in detail. Finally a 32W prototype is designed. The test result shows that the design can achieve the preset functions, its performances can meet the requirements and it can work stably.

This paper represents the study of different types of single phase AC to DC step down converter. Performances and outputs have analyzed depending on the equations. Different parameters such as voltage gain, harmonic contents in input current, and parameters of changing output voltage are compared different type of single phase AC to DC converters. AC to DC converter is defined as rectifier. The main power supply system is alternating in nature. Rectification action is required to obtain DC supply from the main power supply which issinusoidal.

The paper deals with the problem of improving the reliability of DC-DC power supplies with pulse-width modulation. The topicality of the work is related to the importance of power supply issues in modern electronics, since the quality of operation of consumer electrical appliances, including critical ones, directly depends on the serviceability of sources. The object of the study is feedback circuits aimed at stabilization of the parameters of power supply of consumers. Failures of the mentioned feedback circuits most often occurs due to the electronic components degradation under harsh operating conditions as well as under severe mechanical overloads. Such failures are dangerous for uncontrolled increase of power supply output voltage and output current. To avoid this, a new method of reserving voltage feedback signals is presented in the paper which is implemented on the basis of flyback supply topology. Feedback signals are formed from the optocoupler located on the load side and from the auxiliary winding of the power transformer, together forming two independent output voltage control circuits. Only one circuit performs stabilization at any given moment of time. If one of these circuits fails, the second one can simply replace it in its operation. The proposed method does not require any digital signal processing algorithms or microprocessor control modules and can be implemented on the basis of cheap, widely available analog chips that perform pulse-width control of the output voltage. As a result, the problem of sudden feedback loop failure is solved and the reliability of electrical equipment is increased. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed by the results of computer simulation with the use of MatLab-Simulink environment. The obtained results can be used in design of fault-tolerant secondary power supplies that operate in harsh operating conditions.
