This study aims to develop and test the validity of a module on enhancing students' collaboration, critical thinking (2Cs) and writing skills. To develop the module, the researcher used ADDIE model which incorporates five primary phases, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The study used a tryout group which incorporated 20 participants who studied English at The General Foundation Program at a private college in Oman. The study employed a pretest-posttest quasiexperimental design. Paired Samples t-Test was used to compare the mean scores of both tests. Apropos of module validity, a total of 5 experts validated the module. The findings revealed that there is a statistically significant mean difference between the participants' scores in both the pretest and posttest. Further, it was found that the module has good validity and reliability.

This study aimed at developing a digital-based affective evaluation instrument on Indonesian MPK Learning at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. This study was Research and Development (R&D) adapted from ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of the study were 2 content experts, evaluation experts, language experts, 120 college students, and 3 lecturers of MPK Bahasa Indonesia. The data were collected from survey, interview, and affective scale. The data were analyzed quantitatively and described qualitatively. The results of the study show that the validity of a digital-based affective evaluation instrument on Indonesian MPK learning at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha is very valid and it has very high degree of reliability.

Critical thinking skill which is one of the important abilities in the 21st century is important to be trained in learning. The purpose of this research is to develop an AR-based worksheet on dynamic electrical material that is valid, practical, and effective to stimulate students’ critical thinking. The development model used the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation steps. The product developed was tested for validation, practicality test, and effectiveness test. The results of the validity test obtained a value of 81.80% with a valid category. The results of the practicality test obtained a percentage of 80.85% with good criteria. The results of the effectiveness test showed an N-Gain value of 0.67 with the moderately effective category. From the average pretest and posttest scores, it can be seen that the posttest average score increased by 39.04 which indicates that the use of AR-based worksheets can improve students’ critical thinking. It can be concluded that AR-based worksheets on the concept of dynamic electricity developed are valid, practical, and effective to stimulate students’ critical thinking.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) menggunakan pendekatan inquiry berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan rasa ingin tahu siswa yang berkualitas berdasarkan aspek valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengem­bangan ADDIE dengan tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 32 siswa kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Godean. Analisis data kevalidan dan kepraktisan dilakukan dengan mengkonversi skor aktual menjadi skor kualitatif. Analisis keefektifan dilakukan dengan menentukan persentase ketuntasan siswa pada tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan rata-rata skor angket rasa ingin tahu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan inquiry yang berorientasi pada kemam­puan berpikir kritis dan rasa ingin tahu siswa telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Developing a learning kit using an inquiry approach oriented to critical thinking skillAbstractThis study aimed to produce a learning kit using the inquiry approach oriented to students’ critical thinking skills and curiosity which has a good quality in the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The subjects were 32 of 11th-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Godean (Senior High School), Province of Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The data of validity and practicality were analyzed by converting the actual score into qualitative data. The data of effectiveness were done by determining the percentage of student that passed the critical thinking skill tests and the mean scores of students' curiosity questionnaire. The results of this study were a teaching kit using the inquiry approach oriented to students' critical thinking skill and curiosity has met the criterion of valid, practical, and effective.

This research developed Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SETS) e-module integrated with predict, observe, explain (POE) model on the subject matter of Earth Layer and Its Dynamics for grade VII students. This study aimed to reveal i) the feasibility of the developed e-module for grade VII students, and ii) the practicality of the developed e-module and its dynamics. This is a developmental research adopting the ADDIE model consisting of five stages, i.e.: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of the limited test consisted of 15 students of grade VIII.G of Public Junior High School 8 Yogyakarta. The data were collected using a product feasibility assessment sheet for material and media experts, a product practicality assessment sheet for teachers, and a product readability assessment sheet for students. The results show that the developed e-module was feasible to be used according to the material and media experts and the developed e-module is practical according to teachers and students.

This research aims is to develop a learning media called Domano Card, that is an abbreviation  from Trigono mathematics Dominoes. This media is expected to be valid, effective, and practical to be used as a learning tool for Trigonometry Courses in the college. It is consists of three sets of Domano cards, game boards, and game rules. This Domano Card contains of the pairs of questions and answers. This research type is Research Development (R&D) with ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). The subject of this research is 64 active students of Mathematics Education, Satya Wacana Christian University in Trigonometry course. Domano cards are developed based on the students’ learning styles. Validity test was done by 2 validators, there are media experts and material experts It has obtained media feasibility result of 98.71% with very decent category and the result of material feasibility of 92.5% with very decent category. The effectiveness test was done by Paired Samples t-test with SPSS 17. It is indicated that there is a significant differences after the use of Domano Card with the mean value improvement from 57 to 73. The respondents of practicality test are lecturer of Trigonometry course and the lecturer assistant class that obtained 89% with very good category. Based on this development research, it can be concluded that Domano Card media is valid, effective, and practical use as a means of self-learning exercises for students in Trigonometry courses.

The purpose of this study is to produce a science module based on disaster mitigation using eruption software. This research is a research and development following the steps of developing the ADDIE model including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques using the validation sheet of science modules and data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the science content validation module based on disaster mitigation using eruption software have a very valid and reliable category and can be used with minor revisions or without revisions in science learning.

Android-based learning media for Social Studies (SS) might reduce boredom and accelerate student learning because it conveys attractive, creative, and innovative learning materials that support independent learning. This study aims to develop android-based learning media for SS about the Kingdom and Relics of Hindu-Buddhist. It employed Research and Development (R&D) with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) model. Validation by material experts and linguists stated that the learning media was feasible with 61.5% and 70%. Results show that the learning media is suitable to use by 88.2%. The product trials resulted in practical products by 100% from educational practitioners, and 80.2% from students. This finding indicates that the media is effective, as can be seen, that 26 out of 32 students scored above the minimum grade. It is suggested that SS learning media are developed through further research by utilizing virtual reality technology. This may accelerate student understanding as the use of videos and pictures, and virtual reality to images and objects help depict things clearly.

Abstract This study aimed at determining the design stage of the augmented reality-based learning media for sensors and transducers course. This study employed the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This article focuses on the design stage during the process of media development. The developed learning media can be used among vocational students by visualizing the sensor and transducer components like in the real laboratory setting. The design of the developed learning media contained application storyboards and animation storyboards for practicing the six sensors. This augmented reality learning media is designed to support online learning and students’ autonomous learning in the practical course of sensors and transducers.

The purpose of this research is to develop a learning device in the form of Syllabus and Class events Unit, instructional materials, student activity sheet, sheet assessment of students and using collaborative learning model. The device was developed to improve the ability of critical thinking, creative and collaborative environment for students in the Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya. The development of learning device uses a ADDIE model. Its activities include the analysis phase, planning, design, development), implementation, evaluation and revision. Phase evaluation and revision is an ongoing activity conducted in each phase alongthe development cycle. Learning device which have been developed consisting of three courses namely introduction of graphic media, learning to draw, and education management. Learning device has been validated in the first year and meet the acceptability of the usefulness, feasibility, and accuracy. In the second year learning device was implemented in three courses, namely, Education Technology, Education Management, and Early Childhood Education. Implementation Phase uses experimental research design one group pre test - posttest design. The research instrument used to collect data comprising: of result of learning test, observation sheets, product evaluation sheets and questionnaires of collaborative skills. The data of this study were analyzed descriptively and statistically. Perangkat tersebut dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan kolaboratif bagi mahasiswa di lingkungan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan UniversitasNegeri Surabaya. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaranmenggunakan model ADDIE. Kegiatannya meliputi fase analisis (analysis), perencanaan (planning), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), evaluasi dan revisi (evaluation and revision). Fase evaluasi dan revisi merupakan kegiatan berkelanjutan yang dilakukan pada tiap fase di sepanjang siklus pengembangan. Perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan terdiri dari 3 mata kuliah yakni pengantar media grafis, pembelajaran menggambar, dan manajemen pendidikan. Perangkat pembelajaran telah divalidasi pada tahun pertama dan memenuhi akseptabilitas dari sisi kegunaan, kelayakan, dan ketepatan. Pada tahun kedua perangkat pembelajaran dimplementasikan pada tiga program studi, yakni: Teknologi Pendidikan, Manajemen Pendidikan, dan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Fase implementasi dengan menggunakan desain penelitian experimental one group pretest - postest design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan terdiri atas: tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi, lembar penilaian produk, dan angket keterampilan kolaboratif. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran kolaborasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan kolaboratif.

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a developed writing module on enhancing the General Foundation Program students’ writing skills. The study made use of a pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental design. The study participants incorporated 70 Omani students and 2 EFL teachers. The students were divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group incorporated 35 students who studied English at the General Foundation Program of Sur Nursing Institute. The control group involved 35 students who took an English course at The General Foundation Program Centre in Muscat. Both institutions function under the auspices of the Omani Ministry of Health. The control group studied the ministry’s writing syllabus, whereas the experimental group studied the writing module. The writing pre-test was done before module delivery and the post-test was done after the intervention. ANCOVA test was utilized to draw a statistical analogy between the mean scores of tests of both groups. The test findings divulged that there was a statistically significant mean difference between the control and experimental group’s scores in the writing post-test. The module significantly enhanced the experimental group’s writing skills.
