With the parallel connection between China and the international economy and culture, the number of foreign students who are imported and exported in my country is increasing, and they are also increasingly connected in various aspects such as cultural life and economic development. Therefore, choosing to learn a second foreign language in universities has also become a trend. In addition to the lack of second-language majors in most high-efficiency, under the traditional education model of our country, learning second-language languages has many disadvantages. For example, there is a lack of language communication scenarios, and grammar learning is more than oral practice. In order to break this traditional and inherent learning model and provide college students with more opportunities for situational communication and practice, the teaching model of flipping classrooms has been introduced into classrooms by more and more universities.

The paper discusses the problem of teaching business communication to foreign students majoring in Linguistics. To date, it can be argued that it is very important, because it enhances the role of foreign language communication in the professional employment of modern professionals. The purpose of the paper is to develop guidelines for improving the educational process for teaching business communication to foreigners. The author focuses on the modern educational technologies used in their practice. The author allocates and describes the methods and forms of working to facilitate efficient formation of professional business competencies in foreign (Chinese) students at the advanced stage of training in the language environment. The research resulted in a number of significant proposals for optimatizing the educational process for foreign students.

The author, emphasizing the necessity of updating the content of the language education of non-philological foreign students of Ukrainian universities, performs a linguo-didactic analysis of the subject side of the content of the system of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language to non-philological students. Within the modern linguistic paradigm, the subject content of teaching a foreign language, in particular UFL, is considered a system of linguistic means (phonetic, lexical, grammatical, stylistic, socio-cultural, speech etiquette, rhetorical). In the conditions when the modern linguodidactic paradigm is dominated by communicative-activity and intercultural approaches and the consciously-practical method of teaching, aimed at ensuring that foreign students would master the content component of their language education, the following units of learning are recognized: sentences, expressions, texts, and dialogues. The need for updating the content component of the teaching system of UFL arises in connection with the requirements of the modern information society and new requirements for the tasks and results of teaching foreign languages. It has been found that the achievements of a relatively new theory of language communication will allow refining the components of the content of foreign language teaching, which will have an impact on improving the quality of language education of foreign non-philological students of Ukrainian universities. The submitted scientific research substantiates the choice of such a unit of study as a communicative act, which in the future allows reforming the educational process to attract foreign students to Ukrainian discourses. The author describes the structural-semantic components of the personal, verbal-cognitive, verbal and extraverbal levels of the communicative act as a fragment of the communication process within a certain communicative situation. The conclusion is made about the potentialities of the described parameters of the communicative act as a basis for updating the steady methodical principles of language material selection.

Many authors consider the preschool age to be exceptionally "sensitive" to the perception and reproduction of the language. The development of the native language precedes the development of the foreign language and gives the basis for mastering the second language. In addition, there is an intensive development of all physical and mental processes that are "adapted" to the environment surrounding the child, which, in turn, permits the natural way to acquaint children with the basics of foreign language communication. Consideration of the above-mentioned is especially important in working with children of junior preschool age, as the mechanism of their psycho-physiological development is extremely vulnerable. In this case, the use of pedagogical technologies serves for its diversification, which stimulates and accelerates it. However, not all innovational technologies offered by modern educators are designed for work with children of junior preschool age or adapted to such.

Reading literacy is no longer seen as a mere passive linguistic ability. Particularly throughout the last years, it has been re-qualified as a meaningful component of the language teaching process, when referring to a mother, a second or a foreign language. While speaking or writing allow the learner to make some choices about what linguistic content seems relevant, reading implies the full acceptance of the linguistic choices of the authors, and has to start exactly from their analysis and comprehension. Thus, textual choices become very relevant in the teaching process, and this remains true particularly for Italian, since its fame originates mainly from the literary context which it expresses. Recently, a great importance has indeed been given to textual simplification processes that very often help teachers in presenting texts to foreign as well as native students of Italian. By these premises, this paper aims to give a schematic overview of the most frequent criteria of choice and simplification of texts with a specific reference to Italian as a second language for foreign students who attend regularly Italian universities as well as for Erasmus students. The illustration of some practical ‘experiments’ is preceded and supported by a brief memorandum of some meaningful studies and researches about this specific topic.

It is clear that language learning strategies play very important roles in the understanding of language learning processes, as well as in the skills students develop in learning a foreign or second language. In this study, studies on language learning strategies in teaching Turkish to foreigners were examined. In this context, content analyses of 24 studies published by 2021 were carried out. While scanning design was used in most of the reviewed studies, the Oxford Language Learning Strategies Scale (1990) was used as a measurement tool. As a result of the studies, it was found that women from foreign students who learn Turkish as a foreign language use language learning strategies more effectively than men, and the use of language learning strategies remains as age increases. As a result of the research, the lecturers were advised to guide students’ language learning strategies and to use their language learning strategies in lessons. Regarding the use of language learning strategies, it has been recommended to researchers at different language levels and to conduct research with larger populations.

The article discusses the expediency of using the project method in practical classes in Ukrainian for foreign students. This kind of work directs students to activate all knowledge and to form a new one while working on the project. In addition, this type of work is extremely interesting for the representatives of the jet nations, because it comprises both individual and collective work. The author lists a large number of projects and their types that can be offered to international students. But it should be beared in mind that the topics have to be interesting for the students and correspond to their age, education, level of knowledge of the Ukrainian language. The expediency of using the project method as a form of realization of students’ individual work is substantiated. It will allow to teach students to find ways to solve a certain problem, to argue their choice, to create and correctly design their project, to submit a job, to be able to answer questions. The teacher offers students topics and types of projects. Foreigners choose what they like. Further, the teacher should advise them on the structure of work, methods and timing, the presentation of the material and the results of the study. Students present their work, usually either as Power Point presentations or as videos. When working on them, it is of utmost importance that they voice and present their projects in Ukrainian. The author draws attention to the fact that modern linguists emphasize the need to attract new methods, their techniques, technologies for teaching foreign students. The use of the project method will allow students to apply language skills, as well as to gain new skills while preparing for the work. Nowadays, the project method is a recognized methodology of a practically oriented education model worldwide.

The article presents the results of the use of business games in the preparation of foreign medical students for Ukrainian language communication in the course of Ukrainian as a foreign language. The relevance of the study is due to the need to develop new forms and methods of work, determined by rethinking the goals of teaching subjects in connection with the expansion of cooperation between Ukraine and other countries in providing educational services. The expediency of finding the most effective innovative teaching methods is also related to facilitating the process of adaptation of foreign students in the Ukrainian-speaking environment and the formation of skills for the correct use of language in the process of professional medical communication. Based on the analysis of recent research, it is concluded that the issue of practical implementation of the method of business game in working with foreign students, depending on their chosen profession, remains insufficiently studied. Accordingly, the purpose of the article is to present the materials of the business game «At the doctor’s» to prepare foreign medical students for Ukrainian language communication. In the process of achieving this goal, the method of theoretical analysis (to study the peculiarities of the application of business games) and the method of simulation (in order to demonstrate the use of game technologies in teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language) were used. As a result of the study it was determined that the business game is one of the most effective methods in the formation of communicative competence. The analysis of the knowledge acquired by students in class proves the effectiveness of the introduction of game techniques
