The level of knowledge and competencies of a graduate of a pharmaceutical university and specialist regarding the requirements of good pharmacy practice in pharmaceutical organizations of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania is analyzed. A gap in the knowledge of graduates and specialists was identified and an author’s program for developing competencies for creating modern quality systems for pharmaceutical services and products was developed. The sample of the study was formed from the heads and pharmacists of retail pharmacy organizations of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania of all forms of ownership, of which 38% were heads of a pharmaceutical organization, and the rest were pharmacists. Significant gaps and shortcomings of basic knowledge were identified among the management team, the main staff of pharmacists authorized for quality and implementation issues, as well as the creation of quality management systems in pharmaceutical organizations. Disadvantages associated with the lack of mechanisms for implementing the requirements of good pharmacy practice and the creation of a quality system in a pharmaceutical organization require action. So, it is necessary to develop modern educational modules that reflect the trends of modern transformations in the pharmaceutical industry. The low motivation of the staff of pharmaceutical organizations to improve their qualifications on the creation of quality systems was noted, due to the lack of basic knowledge among pharmacists and a sufficient amount of educational programs and modules. The author’s model of training specialists capable of creating modern quality systems in the pharmaceutical organization and the characteristics of the educational complex of the new discipline of choice are presented

This book examines the two generations that spanned the collapse of the Republic and the Augustan period to understand how the concept of pax Romana, as a central ideology of Roman imperialism, evolved. The author argues for the integral nature of pax in understanding the changing dynamics of the Roman state through civil war to the creation of a new political system and world-rule. The period of the late Republic to the early Principate involved changes in the notion of imperialism. This is the story of how peace acquired a central role within imperial discourse over the course of the collapse of the Republican framework to become deployed in the legitimization of the Augustan regime. It is an examination of the movement from the debates over the content of the concept, in the dying Republic, to the creation of an authorized version controlled by the princeps, through an examination of a series of conceptions about peace, culminating with the pax augusta as the first crystallization of an imperial concept of peace. Just as there existed not one but a series of ideas concerning Roman imperialism, so too were there numerous different meanings, applications, and contexts within which Romans talked about ‘peace’. Examining these different nuances allows us insight into the ways they understood power dynamics, and how these were contingent on the political structures of the day. Roman discourses on peace were part of the wider discussion on the way in which Rome conceptualized her Empire and ideas of imperialism.

The article is devoted to the study of the features of the organization of control over tax evasion (on the example of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania). The main dangers for the tax system of the Russian Federation are identified. It is concluded that the efficiency of the state's tax system is one of the main indicators of its economic security. A highly efficient tax system with a well-established mechanism of tax control is a mandatory component in the formation of a strong state characterized by sovereignty, independence, the ability to defend itself and the means to solve socio-economic problems.

In Poland and the world, cancer is a serious health problem. There are the second cause of death in total and the first cause of death before the age of 65 in Poland. The paper presents some research results concerning the understanding of the level of knowledge of adolescents about lung cancer. An attempt was made to answer the question: Do young people have basic knowledge about lung cancer? The following hypotheses were made: Students believe that they influ-ence whether they will develop lung cancer. Adolescents have a basic knowledge of lung cancer. The obtained results allowed for the formulation of conclusions. The main goal of the work is to find out about the level of knowledge of young people about lung cancer. To improve the situation of lung cancer in society, numerous social organizations and associations take part in social campaigns dedicated to all citizens, regardless of age and sex. Some postulates, the introduction of which could increase the health security of the state and eliminate some environmental threats, such as passive smoking, will be presented below. These postulates have the overarching goal of changing the model of lung cancer prevention and care in Poland. The changes should be comprehensive - from prevention (primary and secondary), through diagnostics and treatment, post-treatment care (including rehabilitation and psycho-oncological care), to observation aimed at detecting and treating complications of the disease and anti-cancer therapy as well as early detection of possible recurrence of the disease. Given that smoking is becoming a bad habit of the younger age group than the study, it would be worthwhile to expand the age range and conduct such research among children, for example, from the age of 7 years. At this age, children are more receptive to and aware of health hazards.
