The beginning of the formation of military medical education which, first of all, concentrated in Moscow is considered. The role of the pharmacy order and the Russian school of medicine is shown. It is established that the practical traditions in the preparation of the doctor, laid down in the school of medicine were picked up and successfully developed in the hospital school of the Moscow military Imperial hospital. The hospital as the first state medical institution in Russia has actually become the cradle of the national hospital business, medical science and education. The curriculum of the hospital school included theoretical and practical medical disciplines in a larger volume than in the medical faculties of foreign universities. In the past high stands, the role of the famous doctor-Galarza put my whole life on the development of the higher military medical education in Russia - Nicholas bidloo Labertouche. In 1733 the new staff of Medical Office was approved. On the model of the Moscow hospital school (later called the medical-surgical school), established two surgical schools in St. Petersburg at The land and Admiralty hospitals, and one - in Kronstadt. The facts presented in the article convincingly confirm and show the significant role of hospital schools as a centre of formation and development of military medical and General medical education in the XVIII century in Russia. A special role is given to the positive role of «foreign» doctors (Bidloo, Kondoidi), persistently involved in the field of medical support and education of Russia at that time, emphasized the role of progressive public figures in the formation and development of the rudiments of military medical education of the time - B. Godunov, and especially Peter the Great. Attention is drawn to the organizational and methodological support of the educational process - admission to the training of interested representatives of theological seminaries; development of original textbooks based on the most modern theories and views of the medical direction necessarily processed through the prism of the Russian experience of medical care and treatment at the bedside.

The high risk of cognitive disorders in the elderly and senile age makes, on the one hand, to look for their causes, on the other - the possibility of prevention. In this regard, in recent years, the concept of cognitive reserve has become widespread, implying a set of quantitative parameters of the brain and its ability to maintain high functional activity in the process of aging and against the background of age-related brain pathology. The material presented in the article on the basis of the review of scientific literature highlights two main points concerning the possibility of preserving the cognitive reserve-gender and educational factors. It is pointed to the different opportunities of women and men associated with the structural and functional characteristics of the Central nervous system in representatives of different sexes and the special role of the educational process supported throughout life. The author’s position on the need to separate the concepts of education and the level of General culture, and the creation of a convenient tool for determining the latter is indicated. This, in turn, would help in the development of a cognitive reserve model aimed at preventing the transformation of physiological cognitive aging into pathological aging.

In the 60s of the last century, a number of new universities in the world began to apply an integrated program of medical education, the cornerstone of which was problem-oriented education. Thus, the Flexner model of higher education adopted by that time in most countries of the world, with its characteristic segregation of teaching of the theoretical and clinical disciplines, which had ceased to satisfy the needs of modern healthcare, was gradually replaced by a new system that put the student in the center of the educational process and opened the way to active methods of teaching being focused on the end result – training of graduates whose qualifications most fully satisfy the needs of society. Over the half-century history of its existence, this system has been adopted by most medical universities in different countries of the world, in many of which it has undergone significant modifications in accordance with the needs of national educational standards. Many medical universities in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union showed interest in this system, some of the medical faculties of our country accepted certain elements of it. However, up to date no integrated preclinical medical education program has been applied in any of the Russian universities. Hereby we are undertaking an attempt to analyze the reasons and assess the possible perspectives for the transition of medical universities in Russia to teaching of fundamental and biomedical disciplines using the integrated curriculum.

We provide a detailed analysis of the factors of preschoolers social experience formation: internal and external. The analysis of internal factors contains information on the psychophysical characteristics of preschool children: a characteristic of attention, memory, imagination, thinking of a given age children is given, the role of speech as a system-forming tool regulating the child’s mental processes is revealed. The analysis of external factors is based on a model that assumes the division of social development into four spheres: family, adults, peers, self-image. At the same time, self-image is considered as the result of the intersecting effect of three other spheres. Each of these areas is considered separately, taking into account the specifics of modern social trends and taking into account the nature of the organization of the modern preschool educational process. We give the characteristics of family relationships, the role of the adult world as a basic source of social standards for children is analyzed. When considering peers as one of the areas of social development of preschool children, special attention is given to the presence of children with disabilities among them. The Institute of Oriental Languages (Lazarev Institute) throughout its existence (1815-1921) has undergone a number of transformations, namely, having started its activity from a private school, it achieved the status of a state higher educational institution. Understanding a special role of religion in preserving the ethnic characteristics of the Armenian nation in the absence of statehood, prominent Russian public and state figures of Lazarev contributed to strengthening the status of the church within the walls of the institute. Representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) provided all possible assistance to the educational process, first at school, and then at the institute. The apogee in 1841 became the legal consolidation of the rights of the AAC to directly participate in leading the institute and obtaining the status of the honorary member of the institute by the Catholicos. Many Armenian clergies have made a significant contribution to the development of the educational institution, acting as a guarantor of the cultural foundations of the Armenian people. With the assistance of the church, new directions acted at the Lazarev Institute, scholarships were established, and literature was published. The materials obtained during the research can serve as a basis for further studying the role of church organizations in the educational life of secondary and higher educational institutions of the country.
