The paper presents the results of a comparative study of cognitive functions in preschoolers (5—7 years old, n=50), elementary school students (7—11 years old, n=50), younger adolescents (12—13 years old, n=53), and older adolescents (14—16 years old, n=47) with different intensity of daily use of digital devices: low, medium, controlled high, and uncontrollably high. A battery of neuropsychological methods was used to study the state of cognitive functions. The main differences in accordance with online activity were found in groups of elementary school students and younger adolescents: results were obtained confirming that children using the Internet at medium frequency (1—3 hours per day) are effective in performing a number of cognitive tasks (regulation, control, dynamical praxis, verbal and visual-spatial functions, and neurodynamics). In this study, a certain optimum of online activity time was outlined for different age groups, in the presence of which higher levels of development of certain cognitive functions are recorded.

Suicide primary school girls, 2 reporting discourses, and zoning system require that each elementary school has books that attract students and teachers to read them. Negative content and typing errors written in the book will cause different understandings experienced by elementary school students. Elementary school student who have good linguistic intelligence will be easy to memorize and have extensive vocabulary. Elementary school student with high visual-spatial intelligence will be active in the imagination. Books used by primary schools must meet the values and norms applicable in the community. Primary schools are required to evaluate all the books used in primary schools. Sanctions are granted to authors and publishers if any incorrect information is written in the book. Primary school students will think positively or negatively by looking at textbooks. Eligibility of elementary school textbooks is the responsibility of many parties in the field of education even though teachers are an important component that should assess the appropriateness of textbooks.

Purpose: This study describes the development of a violence prevention educational program for elementary school children using empathy (VPEP-E) that teachers can use during class. Methods: Hoffman's theory of empathy and Seels and Richey's (1994) ADDIE model were applied to develop this program. Results: The developed program consisted of eight sessions: "Orientation/definition of violence and empathy", "Types and boundaries of violence", "Look into my feelings", "Say it with a facial expression", "Preventing non-empathic violence due to social prejudice", "Preventing physical violence", "Verbal and online violence prevention: empathic conversation", and "I can do well: review of the whole curriculum". The program was evaluated by 15 elementary school teachers, who considered it to be easily accessible to elementary school students. The final VPEP-E, which will be provided in eight times for 40 minutes each for fifth-grade students, will provide a basis for preventing violence by fostering empathy. Conclusion: We expect the developed educational program to be effective in preventing violence among elementary school students. However, further research involving children from various age groups is needed.

Differences in the Ability of Memorizing Al-Quran based on the Z-Score of Nutritional Status in Elementary School Students Aged 6−12 Years at the Babussalam Al-Quran Islamic Boarding School, Bandung RegencyMalnutrition with poor nutrition status is a global problem nutritional status in children can affect growth and development and is related to brain function, especially cognitive function (memory). The nutritional status assessment with height/age indicators using microtoise was then interpreted on the WHO growth curve. The nutritional status of all students is normal based on WHO criteria. The z-score values are grouped into groups of z-score values above zero (0), zero (0), and below zero (0), namely up to -2. Assessment of the ability to memorize Al-Quran using secondary data from the memorization of the Al-Quran letter from the homeroom teacher of each level. The number of memorized letters of the Al-Quran is averaged and grouped into good (≥ average) and bad (<average) based on age groups. Today, as a result of the development of technology and the resulting innova-tions, it can be seen that internet applications and software are widely used by large masses starting from very small age groups to adults by means of comput-ers and mobile devices. This wide and popular usage presents several living op-portunities to its users but it also brings to fore the question “how effective and accurate are we using internet and its applications?” The state of awareness of children as regards “accurate and conscious internet usage” who particularly widely use products such as computers and mobile devices appears as an im-portant research question. In light of this information, the purpose of the research is to determine the problems faced by 5th grade students while using the internet. The Interview technique which is a qualitative method is used in the study and the sample group consists of 5th grade students (103 pupils) who study at a private elementary school in Northern Cyprus chosen by convenience (accidental) sam-pling. The research employed a semi-structured interview form developed by re-searchers as data collection tool. According to the obtained results, it has been found that elementary school students encountered problems in topics related to the usage of social networks, computer viruses and relevant measures, and re-search processes on the internet.
