To keep needed level of peroxide lipid oxidation is necessary for the normal functioning of physiological systems. It is supported by the balance of anti-and prooxidant systems. The positive influence of lipid peroxidation processes in the organism is manifested by the restoration of the composition and maintenance of the properties of biological membranes, participation in energy processes, cell division, synthesis of biologically active substances. It has been established that the inflammatory process is accompanied by changes in lipid metabolism and the intensity of peroxide oxidation.

The prevalence of psoriasis has accentuated the high relevance of searching new approaches towards its treatments. This article describes the connection between the development of the clinical picture and lipid peroxidation, and studies the expediency of using drugs with antioxidant properties as a component of the treatment. The products of lipid peroxidation regulate cell proliferation and permeability of cell membranes, thus the function and structure of the skin is directly dependent on the level of lipids and phospholipids. Patients with either mild or severe psoriasis have been found out to demonstrate some changes in the blood serum: increased cholesterol, triglycerides and free fatty acids, as well as a change in the ratio of the fractional content of phospholipids in erythrocyte membranes. Taking into account the above mentioned factors of psoriasis, we can suggest that it would be reasonable to include antioxidants into the integrated therapy. Antioxidants are the group of biologically active substances that possess an ability to interact with various reactogenic oxidants, reactive oxygen species and other free radicals that leads to their full or partial inactivation. During this study resveratrol was added to standard psoriasis therapy. The scope of laboratory research included: diagnosis of changes in the blood biochemical analysis taken on an empty stomach in the morning to investigate the content of total protein, albumin, bilirubin, low and high density lipids, phospholipids, cholesterol, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase. It has been found out the reduction of symptom in the patients who received complex therapy modified with resveratrol was more marked than in patients who received standard therapy only. A more intensive decrease in infiltration, erythema, desquamation, and itching has been clinically observed as well.

The development of stomatitis is characterized by the appearance of oxidative stress, which is marked by an increase in the intensity of peroxide lipid oxidation processes, resulting in metabolic disturbance in oral mucosa. As a result, toxic substances accumulate and endogenic toxicity develops. Thus, correction of pathological processes in the oral mucosa with antioxidant medication enables to optimize the intensity of inflammation, shorten the period of catabolic phase and accelerate the regeneration. Extract of Geranium palustre herb as a dental film was used to reduce the intensity of processes of lipid peroxidation and endogenous intoxication. This treatment method enables to release an active substance from the drug locally and to provide optimal therapeutic effect. The efficacy of the experimental medication was studied in the dynamics of experimental ulcerative stomatitis development in rabbits. The experimental model of ulcerative stomatitis in animals was induced with a burn method. For the experiment, the animals were divided into 2 groups: control group, where treatment was not performed, and experimental group, where animals were treated by applying a dental film with Geranium palustre extract. The monitoring was conducted on the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th days of the experiment, which are key stages of healing. During these periods, blood was taken under anesthesia from the auricular vein of each experimental animal. Dynamics of prooxidant processes was detected by the level of lipid hydroperoxides and malondialdehyde, and the level of endogenic toxicity by the content of middle molecules. Statistic processing of the obtained results of investigation was performed using personal computer with installed proper software package StatSoft Statistica 10. Reliable difference was considered р<0.05. It has been shown that extract of Geranium palustre herb, as a dental film, has antioxidant properties, which are effectively reducing the intensity of lipid peroxidation processes. It should be mentioned that the content of lipid hydroperoxides and final product of lipid peroxidation processes – malondialdehyde – in experimental animals’ blood was statistically lower in all periods of investigation than in control group, where treatment was not performed. The obtained results show that higher inhibiting effect of experimental medication is marked during the final stage of lipid peroxide oxidation than during the initial stage. As the result showed, the development of endogenic toxicity was observed in both groups and the highest indices were recorded at the peak of the inflammatory process on the third day of the experiment. Dynamics of middle molecules content shows that application of Geranium palustre extract, as a dental film, decreases this index during all investigated periods and reduces intoxication level in experimental animals. Thus, application of dental film in stomatitis treatment enables to release medication directly into the damaged area, which significantly increases therapeutic effect of biologically active substances of Geranium palustre phytocomplex, and rapid absorption of the film in the oral cavity provides easy use. Considering efficacy, non-toxicity and availability of the investigated medication, the expediency of its application in dental practice for the treatment of stomatitis and other inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa may be considered.

In stimulated status neutrophils and monocytes in the foci of introduction the different materials are capable to excrete of biologically active substances by means of which if influence on processes of reparation. The express changes of blood leukocytes activity in response on the introduction of stimulated agents are assume as a basis of the proposed model of the organism biocompatibility with different materials. On example of the influence of different materials (ceramics, titanium, latex, surgical steel and copper), from which can be made implant and surgical instruments it was showed that the leukocytes were showed the different reaction of enzyme systems. This model allows the completely and objectively to study the influence of different materials on the neutrophyls and monocytes - the effected cells of the inflammatory process. Moreover, the activity of cation proteins and plasma membrane enzymes of leukocytes is the most expressed factor.

The aim of the study. To evaluate of parameters of lipid peroxidation - antioxidant defense changes in women of fertile age with chronic viral hepatitis (CVH) and with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection, depending on the degree of inflammatory process activity in the liver. Materials and methods. 99 women of reproductive age were examined, of them 44 patients with chronic parenteral viral hepatitis, 27 patients with HIV co-infection (HIV + hepatitis B and/or C) and 28 practically healthy women (control group). Results. Patients with CVH in combination with HIV-infection with the presence of minimal and low degree of inflammatory activity in comparison with patients with CVH-monoinfection had a higher content of lipid peroxidation products (an increase in the content of diene conjugates and ketodienes and conjugated trienes), reduced values of total antioxidant activity, superoxide dismutase activity, as well as the concentration of fat-soluble vitamins α-tocopherol and retinol. In the group with CVH and HIV with moderate and high degree of activity, similar, but even more pronounced changes in the system of lipid peroxidation were observed. Conclusion. The presence of co-infection - CVH in combination with HIV infection with minimal and low, as well as moderate and high inflammatory activity, is characterized by more intensive lipid peroxidation processes and a pronounced lack of antioxidant factors than with CVH-monoinfection.

The trigger in the violation of the immune response in sepsis is the release of a large number of pro- and antiinflammatory mediators, primarily cytokines and other biologically active substances. Despite the fact that a sufficient number of studies have been carried out in which an increase in the amount of cytokines in sepsis has been noted, there is no work on the study of similar changes in the skin, which is the largest protective barrier in the body, and, accordingly, plays a significant role in maintaining the immune homeostasis. The aim of the study was to assess the expression of pro- and anti-inflammatory skin mediators in experimental sepsis. Materials and Methods. Mice were used as experimental animals, which underwent surgery CLP. The object of the study is the skin, which was studied using the immunohistochemical method (antibodies to TGF-a, TGF-a, IL-12, IL-10, IL-6, CD206, CD163, CD68). Results. In case of sepsis, an increase in the proportion of immunopositive cells in the epidermis and dermis was found: TNF-(33.1 ± 1.2%); TGF-a (35.3 ± 1.4%); IL-12 (6.8 ± 0.3%); IL-10 (9.2 ± 0.9%); IL-6 (28.2 ± 0.8%); CD206 (12.9 ± 0.7%); CD163 (16.1 ± 0.8%); CD68 (28.4 ± 0.9%). Conclusion. An increase in the number of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines in sepsis indicates the involvement of the epidermis in the general inflammatory process, due to a shift in the cytokine balance towards the predominance of pro-inflammatory mediators and M1-macrophages

Numerous studies have shown that sapropel is an effective source of macro-and microelements, as well as biologically active substances. There are about 3 million lakes on the territory of Russia, where sapropel reserves are estimated at 250 billion tons. There are 497 lakes on the territory of the Tyumen region, the estimated reserves of sapropel in them are 1398,7 million tons. The Tyumen region is a biogeochemical province for all normalized trace elements. Biologically active compounds obtained from natural raw materials, including normalized trace elements in organic form are the most promising and safe. Under the inviroments of the Tyumen region, such natural raw materials can be sapropels. The study of the effectiveness of the use of sapropels and their influence on the metabolism and milk productivity of cattle is an urgent topic. The purpose of the research was to study the influence of sapropel lake Nepryak on milk productivity indicators and the biochemical composition of the blood of cows. For the experiment 3 groups of cows have been formed (a control group and two experimental ones) based on the principle of pairs of analogs. Cows of the 1st experimental group have been got in the ration of 300 g of sapropel per head/day, 2nd experimental – 500 g/head/day. Cows of the control group did not receive sapropel in the ration. It has been found as the result of research that the use of sapropel lake Nepryak in feeding of cows in doses of 300 and 500 g/head/day had the positive influence on their milk productivity. At the same time, it is most effective to feed sapropel at the dose of 300 g/ head/day.
