The article presents main ideas which originated and have been developed in the sociolinguistic school at the University of Silesia. The school was born in the 1970s and its origins are associated with the name of Władysław Lubaś, the true founder of the Silesian sociolinguistics. The article presents the issue of the socalled sociolinguistic breakthrough and Lubaś’s own theoretical conceptions which were taken up and further developed by his followers. It also discusses the status of sociolinguistics as a research method, specificity of the language in Silesian cities and of spoken language research, the issue of vernacular as a language of identity, the problem of Silesian bilingualism, theoretical issue of diglossia and, finally, research on everyday language and on the language of Silesian younger generation.

A truly person-centered curriculum requires important changes to how the clinical method is taught. Medical interviewing demands explicit instruction in how the spoken language works and specific strategies that elevate the status of attentive listening so that this aspect is seen as important as the more mechanical aspects of traditional communication skills training. The term chief complaint is declared outdated and suggestions for its replacement are offered. The medical record is considered an important educational instrument, and recommendations are made so that it is in service of functional assessment and better aligned to a person-centered approach. Modifications to the physical examination, particularly a renewed emphasis on clinical observation, are outlined. The chapter concludes with a discussion of clinical thinking and judgment. A plea is made for inculcating a receptiveness toward a narrative competence within medicine.

This article is supported by the author’s experience through a methodology created during her Ph.D. thesis ‘The experience of book’s place at the university’, also during COVID-19 restrictions. The student transformed public presentations into collaborative research workshops, where new interrelations and concepts occurred rooted in arts-based research methodologies, exploring art and education, in its scope. Cardography is an invented designation based on a/r/tography, as a creative living research methodology that uses cards as a device for a visual inquiry, considering that each book’s page is a card to be written or drawn (digital or paper), documenting the dialogic process during each research workshop. The research result contemplates an artistic object, which is displayed afterwards in university and art exhibitions. The reader is invited to follow a fil rouge alignment, inspired by a book structure, reflecting upon concepts and research methods not yet implemented at the art education doctoral course.

ABSTRAKDi dalam bagian kedua UUPA mengatur tentang pelaksanaan konversi hak atas tanah menjadi wujud kepastian hukum sebagaimana ketentuan Pasal 33 ayat (3) UUD 1945. Kata Kunci: hak atas tanah; hak barat; kepastian hukum jaminan; konversi ABSTRACTIn the second section of the UUPA regulates the conversion of land rights into a form of legal certainty as stipulated in Article 33 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution. But the legal certainty of the conversion of the Right to western land, especially the Eigendom Verponding Rights certificate, remains a problem for people who have proof of ownership of the western land if it is used as a guarantee to obtain credit facilities. The research method used is normative juridical with the study of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Based on the discussion that legal certainty related to the conversion of rights Eigendom Verponding has had a binding legal force with the necessary provisions of conversion so that it can be used as an object of guarantee but in practice there is still an object of guarantee by not taking into account the origin of the object of the guarantee and the legal consequences of the conversion of the right to land is the enactment of the UUPA being the basis that the principle of the status quo of the former land rights provides a guarantee of legal certainty with the provisions of old rights to be unclaimed civility. Keywords: conversion; guarantee legal certainty; land rights; western rights
