The article analyzes the current trends and conditions for the development of students 'speech-thinking abilities and the formation of students' speech competence, and examines modern methods used in the classroom to improve the speech culture of future specialists. The data of the ascertaining experiment showing the level of development of speech competence of students are given. Criteria and factors of speech formation are considered. It is emphasized that the leading principle of educational process management is the formation of motivational factors and reflection of students in terms of the quality of their speech. Promising technologies for the formation of speech competence of specialists are identified. The main direction of development of speech competence of students at the present stage is the formation of speech culture based on linguistic, cultural, situational, professional levels; taking into account the psychological characteristics of specialists, factors of motivation and reflection of students. The leading methods of speech training are teaching methods that correspond to a person-oriented technology, problem tasks (search-game, cognitive-search, role-playing games, discussions), language exercises, emotional-behavioral tasks, and others).


One of the key factors in increasing productivity and economic growth in the country is the well-established educational process, and as a result, the matching of people’s skills with the modern needs of the labor market. Important research problems concern the development of a new model of educational process management, which includes the formation of a person as not only a workforce, but also personality. The purpose of the article is to study the relevance of the implementation of socio-emotional competences in the modern educational environment for the formation of the demanded skills of the labor market, which is constantly changing. The research presents the main claimed types of abilities of a modern person, including a system of cognitive, social-emotional and technical skills, and emphasizes the growing importance of social and emotional skills. The five competencies of social and emotional learning are highlighted: self-awareness, self-governance, social awareness, interpersonal skills and responsible decision-making. According to a study by the World Bank and the report of the World Economic Forum «The Future of Workplaces», the skills that are in greatest demand today in society are grounded: analytical thinking and innovation, complex problem solving, critical thinking and analysis, active learning. It is important to know the structure of educational levels and their involvement in them in order to understand how and for whom to form the modern educational process. Therefore, the analysis of the distribution of the number of pupils, listeners and students studying in Ukrainian institutions and their gender component is conducted. The main tendencies of changes of participants of educational process in 2014-2017 are found at all levels of education. To improve the efficiency of management of educational process, the urgency of the introduction of social and emotional education into the educational process has been emphasized. The value and result of the influence of social and emotional education on each level of education, their interrelation and the degree of need are assessed.

The article analyzes possible directions of using the digital footprint in the higher education system of the Russian Federation. The author considers the phenomenon of a digital footprint as an array of information, large data (Big Data) left by subjects of the educational process (primarily students and teachers) in a global information network that can be analyzed, processed and used to improve the educational space and improve the quality of teaching. The main research methods are analysis, systematization and modelling. On their basis, the author identifies three promising areas of applying digital footprint technology in the educational context, which are interdependent: ensuring continuity and integration of educational levels; organization and management of the educational process; management of the educational system as a whole (education management).

This paper describes innovative approaches to the development of an academic course in information technologies in agronomy. The results of an effective combination of teaching methods through solving crosscutting situational tasks were created by a group of teachers. The authors demonstrate efficiency of introduction of modern information systems into the educational process due to the use of discipline software provided by stakeholders with the examples of interactive tasks in the environment of the IS for real-time production process management. Program results are corresponding to standards of higher education in Ukraine, to the European framework of e-competences and were discussed with employers, which are the heads of agricultural enterprises, representatives of agribusiness and IT companies. The article shows examples of motivational measures during training and summarizes the results of cooperation between universities and business. The relevance of the work is considering in the context of Agriculture 4.0's current trends and studying the needs of employers and software developers.

Kindergarten is a crucial stage in early childhood education. Principals and teachers should be highly competent and aware of children educational needs. Principals represent the model for driving the rest of the workforce in their institutions. The aim of this study was to assess the training needs of kindergarten principals in light of digital age requirements from their own perspective. The study sample consisted of (90) kindergarten principals in the district of Jerash, Jordan. A questionnaire was used to collect data, which addressed needs in three domains pertaining to the use of technology. Statistical analysis revealed that principals estimates of their training needs was overall moderate, with a slightly higher needs pertaining to ICT employment in kindergarten and educational process management. Furthermore, the findings showed that there were no significant statistical differences between respondent estimates pertaining to their academic qualifications, years of experience, or to kindergarten's ownership.

This article examines high school students’ features of socialization in a comprehensive school, as well as the terms of their socialization efficiency. The age characteristics of high school students are also considered, the main features that help to form socialization are identified. The approaches and main characteristics of socialization are determined. Based on the characteristics identified in the course of the study, the conditions were determined under which the formation of socialization would be more successful. It was revealed that the personality of the teacher and his successful intraschool development play an important role and are an essential condition for the successful socialization of the personality. It is mentioned, that the educational process management is necessary as not only the teacher, but the student as well plays an important role in socialization. Moreover, the student learns to independently determine his goals and objectives.

Educational and cognitive activity of students is the key component of the modern educational process. Management of the learning process becomes effective when it is grounded on the basic laws of general theory of management and knowledge of the psychological foundations and cognitive processes patterns, the development and consolidation of certain personal qualities and mental formations that ensure the achievement of educational goals. In this article the main psychological and pedagogical review of management problems is presented; the general requirements for effective learning process management are identified. Particular attention is paid to monitoring the learning process and its correction as a necessary managerial component of the educational and cognitive activity of students.
