RE-NUM-OR is a new, flexible, and user-friendly renumbering and reordering data arrangement software for unprocessed pedigree files used in genetic evaluation systems for personal computers. RE-NUM-OR was written using Python (Ver. 2.7.13) 64 byte programming language and compiled with PyInstaller-3.2.1 software which is a set of utilities for freezing Python scripts into executable. RE-NUM-OR not only runs on 32 or 64 byte MS Windows but also runs on 64 byte GNU/Linux. The program has new, practical, and simple interface and the user does not need to create a parameter file for running the program and .txt, .xlsx or .et extension files can be used as input files directly. Output files (.txt, .xlsx, .et, .dat) can be obtained. For animal, sire and dam IDs, it can read all standard characters (ASCII codes from 32 to 126) in input files. The program supports both dot (.) and comma (,) for numerical data. Pedigree lines for parents do not need to be arranged prior to their progeny. If pedigree lines for parents follow their progeny, the program can detect this and it can reorder the animals as pedigree lines placing parents prior to their progeny. Another feature of this software is that it has a pop-up window with error notification. Also, it supports repeated observations. Recent progress in computer technology enables the calculation of lens fields and focal properties on commonly available computers such as IBM ATs. If we add to this the use of graphics, we greatly increase the applicability of design programs for electron lenses. Most programs for field computation are based on the finite element method (FEM). They are written in Fortran 77, so that they are easily transferred from PCs to larger machines.The design process has recently been made significantly more user friendly by adding input programs written in Turbo Pascal, which allows a flexible implementation of computer graphics. The input programs have not only menu driven input and modification of numerical data, but also graphics editing of the data. The input programs create files which are subsequently read by the Fortran programs. From the main menu of our magnetic lens design program, further options are chosen by using function keys or numbers. Some options (lens initialization and setting, fine mesh, current densities, etc.) open other menus where computation parameters can be set or numerical data can be entered with the help of a simple line editor. The "draw lens" option enables graphical editing of the mesh - see fig. I. The geometry of the electron lens is specified in terms of coordinates and indices of a coarse quadrilateral mesh. In this mesh, the fine mesh with smoothly changing step size is calculated by an automeshing procedure. The options shown in fig. 1 allow modification of the number of coarse mesh lines, change of coordinates of mesh points or lines, and specification of lens parts. Interactive and graphical modification of the fine mesh can be called from the fine mesh menu. Finally, the lens computation can be called. Our FEM program allows up to 8000 mesh points on an AT computer. Another menu allows the display of computed results stored in output files and graphical display of axial flux density, flux density in magnetic parts, and the flux lines in magnetic lenses - see fig. 2. A series of several lens excitations with user specified or default magnetization curves can be calculated and displayed in one session.

Screw conveyors deliver materials in desired quantities in a steady and continuous manner, and are widely used in factories and mining. The design of large multi-blade screw conveyor involves complex calculations and large repeated workload, and is poor in accuracy and efficiency. With modular design as the guideline, using object-oriented programming language VB6.0 as the developing tool, and based on the platform of AutoCAD, this article discusses the development of a user-friendly CAD system that allows arbitrary division of the outer vortex. Practice has proven that this simple and pragmatic system largely improves the design efficiency and precision.

A user-friendly, menu driven, database program was developed to facilitate storage, retrieval, and manipulation of data associated with a sweetpotato breeding program. The database is written in FoxBASE+ for IBM and compatible personal computers. The database consists of a variety of test options with statistical capabilities for analysis of raw test data for commonly evaluated factors used to screen sweetpotato selections. The database also contains options which permit the user to query the stored data. An important feature is the summarization of test data for individual selections based on all the tests it has been entered into. Overall means, SDs and comparisons with user specified checks are listed in a printout for each factor along with morphological descriptors, parentage, and a note section. The database also assists the user in field research through recording of plot plans, data collection forms and related data query options.

Abstract A BASIC computer program was used to calculate the results of microbiological vitamin assays. The program, which incorporates the official AOAC guidelines for microbiological methods, reduces the uncertainty inherent in manual curve plotting and interpolation and minimizes the human error of repetitive calculations. Because the BASIC programming language is well suited for use on self-contained personal computers, it can be easily adapted by small laboratories

The Sapu ceremony is a ceremony carried out by the people of So'a in general and the people of Lo'a in particular. This ceremony is held only for adult men both those who are married and those who have not. To be able to carry out a successful event requires careful planning and good implementation. The choice of place of ceremony, invitation, consumption and luggage must be planned from the start. Some of the reasons for the swelling rituals of traditional Sapu rituals are that the organizers of the rituals focus less on the amount of the budget, follow all the wishes of others, lack information, handle everything themselves and are less strict in determining the number of guests. Traditional Sapu rituals, like other projects, require careful planning in which the amount of the budget is followed by the deadline that must be met. Planning traditional Sapu rituals is a complex job, and can be large and spend a considerable amount of time. If it is not well planned, the traditional Sapu ritual cannot run smoothly. Based on these problems, a mobile-based website was built that can help the admin, calculating the amount of budget needed to hold the traditional Sapu ritual. Facilitate the process of recapitulation and printing of financial reports per participant and total funds overall. In terms of appearance, it is good, interactive and user friendly, easy to read and understand, and the choice of colors that are comfortable and beautiful to look at. The website is created using the PHP programming language. To manage the database management system (DBMS), MySQL is used.
