In order to reach better production and financial results of pork production different technological ways of pig fattening are researched. The purpose of this paper is to show separate results of polyenzyme application and the results of the use of heat-treated cereals in pig fattening as well as the results of their combined application. Pigs fattened on a diet with polyenzyme preparation and heat-treated cereals, either separately or combined, were characterised by an insignificantly higher growth rate and their feed intake per kilogram of weight gain was low compared to pigs fed standard mixtures (control group). In statistical terms, the relative portion of muscle tissue in pork carcass was significantly lower in experimental group 3 fed the mixture with heat-treated cereals than in the other groups. The absolute portion of muscle tissue in pork carcass was statistically more important in experimental group 2 (45.15 kg) receiving the mixture of enzyme additive and heat-treated cereals, and the least important in experimental group 3 (40.92 kg) fed heat-treated cereals. During pig fattening the income for experimental groups was higher than for the control group because of better production results. Average values covering variable expenses show the increase only in the third experimental group in the second fattening period compared to the control group, but these differences were of no statistical importance.

Abstract The aim of the study was to verify the efficiency of two frisbee ultimate teaching models at 8-year grammar schools relative to age. In the experimental group was used a game based model (Teaching Games for Understanding) and in the control group the traditional model based on teaching techniques. 6 groups of female students took part in experiment: experimental group 1 (n=10, age=11.6), experimental group 2 (n=12, age=13.8), experimental group 3 (n=14, age =15.8), control group 1 (n=11, age =11.7), control group 2 (n=10, age =13.8) and control group 3 (n=9, age =15.8). Efficiency of the teaching models was evaluated based of game performance and special knowledge results. Game performance was evaluated by the method of game performance assessment based on GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument) through video record. To verify level of knowledge, we used a knowledge test, which consisted of questions related to the rules and tactics knowledge of frisbee ultimate. To perform statistical evaluation Mann-Whitney U-test was used. Game performance assessment and knowledge level indicated higher efficiency of TGfU in general, but mostly statistically insignificant. Experimental groups 1 and 2 were significantly better in the indicator that evaluates tactical aspect of game performance - decision making (p<0.05). Experimental group 3 was better in the indicator that evaluates skill execution - disc catching. The results showed that the students of the classes taught by game based model reached partially better game performance in general. Experimental groups achieved from 79.17 % to 80 % of correct answers relating to the rules and from 75 % to 87.5 % of correct answers relating to the tactical knowledge in the knowledge test. Control groups achieved from 57.69 % to 72.22 % of correct answers relating to the rules and from 51.92 % to 72.22 % of correct answers relating to the tactical knowledge in the knowledge test.

Abstract,  Experimental study examines the moral-themed stories to foster empathy on adolescence. Research subjects 205 early adolescents, 103 adolescents (56 males, 47 females) selected as the experimental group, and 102 (61 male, 41 female) were selected as the control group. Sixteen given moral-themed stories twice a week. Experiments using the One Group Post-test Design. Control is done by banning adolescence on the experimental group discuss, or lend anything to do with the course of the experiment. Reinforcement is done by discussion and question and answer, draw conclusions in the form of wisdom, and benefits in daily life; Any story, story teller lend sheets to adolescence groups of experiments to be read again at home to make it more understandable. After the eighth week end of the experiment, measurements of empathy were taken with the Davis Interpersonal Relativity Index (IRI). Experimental results showed: 1) Empathy fantasy of experimental was higher than the control group; 2) Average of empathy at all aspects no differ between the experimental and the control group; 3) Average of perspective taking empathy on girls was higher than boys; 4) Average on all aspects of empathy did not differ between boys and girls. Themed story can only cultivate the moral character of fantasy empathy. Moral themed stories will make adolescent lost in fictional stories and imagine themselves in the same situation as fictional characters. The findings are discussed in terms of their implications for early adolescent in context. Key words: Themed strory moral, emphaty, early adolescence

The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of preventive activities involving the use of a coccidiostatic product containing Origanum vulgare and Citrus spp. extracts on the slaughter value of lambs from a confined management system. The study material was a group of 222 mother ewes and 276 lambs of the Polish Lowland breed. During the whole experiment the animals were kept in a confined management system, indoors, with uniform environmental conditions. On the basis of the parasitological analysis the flock was divided into three groups similar in both the intensity and the extensity of parasitic infections: Group 1: a control group, whose diet was not supplemented (74 mother ewes, 87 lambs); Group 2: diet supplemented with OILIS SD, a product with coccidiostatic effect, from the third month of pregnancy to lambing the lambs were fed like the control group (73 mother ewes, 105 lambs); Group 3: diet supplemented with OILIS SD, a product with coccidiostatic effect, from the third month of pregnancy to lambing, the lambs receiving feed with OILIS SD starting from the 14th day of life (75 mother ewes, 84 lambs). Out of 276 lambs included in the experiment, 18 rams and 18 ewes representing all the observed groups were chosen for slaughter. The lambs were slaughtered around day 100 of their life (± 6 days). The observations showed that the animals from Group 3, in which the feed of both mother ewes and lambs was supplemented with a coccidiostatic product, were characterized by a higher slaughter weight: 30.80 kg, in comparison to 27.80 kg in Group 1 and 26.90 kg in Group 2, which has been confirmed as statistically significant (p ≤ 0.05). This corresponded to the achieved carcass weight. The highest average hot carcass weight (13.36 kg) was noted in Group 3, while the parameters for Group 1 (11.88 kg) and Group 2 (11.28 kg) were significantly lower (p ≤ 0.05). The conducted post-slaughter analysis clearly showed that the coccidiosis prevention measure consisting in a product containing the ether oils of Origanum vulgare (Lamiacea) and Citrus spp. (Citraceae) has a beneficial influence on the slaughter value of lambs, and results both in a higher carcass weight and the weights of specific cuts and tissues..

The research goal was to learn how the live weight and average daily weight gains of «Hubbard» cross broiler chickens change when their drinking water is added with a fulvic acid preparation produced by the BioSap Technologies company. Birds of both the control and experimental groups were fed in the raising period the similar feeding rations (complete-value combined feeds of pre-start, start-1, start-2, growth, finishing) depending on the growth stage of chickens. The birds in the experimental groups were fed additionally 2, 4 и 6% fulvic acid preparations produced from the sapropel of the Tver oblast Zharki lake .By the slaughter time, at the age of 40 days, the best live weight results of 2592,97 grammes were shown by experimental group 2 fed with a 4% preparation, which reliably exceeded the weight of group 3 chickens (6% preparation) by 203,31 grammes, or by 8,51% (p<0,01). With female chickens in group 2 the value was 2475,53 grammes, which reliably exceeded the weight of group 3 chickens by 245,53 grammes, or by 11,01% (p<0,01) Broiler chickens of experimental groups 1 and 2 exceeded the control group, the same was noted with male chickens ot experimental group 2 too. The best results in average daily gain were also recorded in experimental group 2. Sex differences not being considered, the result was 63,82 grammes, which reliably exceeded the weight of group 3 chickens by 5,05 grammes, or by 8,59% (p<0,05). Daily gains of female chickens in experimental group 2 were 60,88 grammes, or 6,09 grammes higher than those in experimental group 3 (11,12%). Broiler-chicken values of experimental group 3, sex not being considered, as well as female chicken gains were lower than those of the control group. The optimum dose of the BioSap Fulvic Power preparation produced by the BioSap Technologies company should be considered that of 4% added into drinking water.

In order to improve the productivity of lactating cows and preserve their health, scientists and practitioners are searching for complex feed additives that have valuable biological properties. An experiment aimed to study the effect of feeding coniferous flour, pine nutshell, arabinogalactan, and enzyme preparation Amilosubtilin G3x on the biochemical and hematological parameters was conducted in the LLC “Plemzavod “Taezhny” of the Krasnoyarsk region. According to the principle of analogs, three groups of dairy black-motley cows including 15 animals were formed. The experiment lasted 100 days. The diet for cows of the control group was basic, experimental group 1 was fed with coniferous flour (50 g / goal / day), cedar nutshell (50 g / goal / day), Amilosubtilin G3x (5 g / goal / day), cows of experimental group 2 were fed with coniferous flour (50 g / goal / day), pine nutshell (50 g / goal / day), Amilosubtilin G3x (5 g / goal / day), and arabinogalactan (5 g / goal / day). It was found that the additives did not have a negative effect on the metabolism, but improved blood counts. In the blood of experimental group 2, the concentration of total protein was higher by 2.7% and 2.0%, albumin by 3.0 and 1.0%, calcium by 1, 5 and 6.3%, phosphorus by 10.2 and 10.7%, creatinine by 6.0 and 16.5%, glucose by 4.0 and 2.8%, triglycerides by 11.1% in comparison with the control group and experimental group 1, respectively. The results obtained indicate that the additives can be used for feeding cows.

Abstract Background This study was done to observe the incidence of Osteo-line on the femur neck and to explore the clinical application of Osteo-line in osteotomy. Methods Eighty-nine adult femur specimens were selected to observe the incidence of Osteo-line on the femur neck. From August 2015 to January 2019, a total of 278 patients who completed unilateral hip arthroplasty at the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University were retrospectively included. Patients who accepted osteotomy via Osteo-line on the femur neck were defined as the experimental group (n = 139), and patients who accepted osteotomy via traditional method (The femoral distance 1.5 cm above the trochanter was retained for osteotomy by visual inspection.) were defined as the control group (n = 139). According to the postoperative pelvic X-ray, Photoshop was used to evaluate the leg length discrepancy (LLD) by the CFR-T-LT method. Results Among the 89 specimens, the incidence of anterior Osteo-line was 75.28%, and the incidence of posterior Osteo-line was 100%. According to the clinical application results, the incidence of anterior Osteo-line on the femur neck was 80%, and the incidence of posterior Osteo-line was 100%. The Osteo-line was clearer than those on the femoral specimens. Twenty-six cases had LLD greater than 1 cm (9.29%), including 2 cases in the experimental group and 24 cases in the control group. The average postoperative LLD in the experimental group (0.19 ± 0.38 mm) was significantly shorter than in the control group (0.54 ± 0.51 mm)(P = 0.005). Conclusion The incidence of Osteo-line on the femur neck was high, and patients who accepted osteotomy via Osteo-line on the femur neck can achieve shorter postoperative LLD than the control group.

Study design: Four groups, between-subjects study. Objectives: To investigate the effects of exercise on adaptation of normal subjects who had been artificially spatially disoriented. Background: Many patients referred for rehabilitation experience sensory changes, due to age or disease processes, and these changes affect motor skill. The best way to train patients to adapt to these changes and to improve their sensorimotor skills is unclear. Using normal subjects, we tested the hypothesis that active, planned head movement is needed to adapt to modified visual input. Methods and measures: Eighty male and female subjects who had normal balance on computerized dynamic posturography (CDP) and the dynamic gait index (DGI), were randomly assigned to four groups. All groups donned diagonally shift lenses and were again assessed with CDP and DGI. The four groups were then treated for 20 min. Group 1 (control group) viewed a video, Group 2 performed exercise that involved translating the entire body through space, but without separate, volitional head movement, Group 3 performed exercises which all incorporated volitional, planned head rotations, and Group 4 performed exercises that involved translating the body (as in Group 2) and incorporated volitional, planned head motion (as in Group 3). All subjects were post-tested with CDP and DGI, lenses were removed, and subjects were retested again with CDP and DGI. Results: The groups did not differ significantly on CDP scores but Groups 3 and 4 had significantly better DGI scores than Groups 1 and 2. Conclusions: Active head movement that is specifically planned as part of the exercise is more effective than passive attention or head movements that are not consciously planned, for adapting to sensorimotor change when it incorporates active use of the changed sensory modality, in this case head motion.
