A Consolidated Web Browser Interface Using Multiple Browser Libraries for Testing Web Designs

<p>This  study  aimed  to  create  a  consolidated  web  browser  interface  usingmultiple browser libraries for testing web designs. Specifically, this research effort intended to develop an application capable to test web designs on the top four (4) most commonly used web browsers namely, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari. Furthermore, this research undertaking also meant to develop an application with syntax coloring and line numbers to help web developers determine syntax pairing and differences between browser outputs, and which would allow the users to directly edit specified CSS and HTML code through the text editor. Through experimental development approach and consultation with seventeen respondents who were selected through random sampling, the researchers were able to integrate the cited web browsers into one application enabling the web developers to avoid downloading and installing web browser applications one–by–one, and giving them the opportunity to test their web designs either online or offline. Findings revealed that the consolidated web browser interface using multiple browser libraries could help test web designs. The resulting program consolidated into one application the Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari, through the use of GeckoFX, WebKit, and XULRunner, making the browsers stand alone tools. In addition, RegEx and Line Numbers were also used for the syntax coloring and line numbering. Further, the consolidated web browser interface using multiple browser libraries for testing web designs could lessen the problem in following a certain standard code of a browser, especially HTML and CSS codes.</p>

This chapter focuses on the Internet working environment of Knowledge Workers through the customization of the Web browser on their computer. Given that a Web browser is designed to be used by anyone browsing the Internet, its initial configuration must meet generic needs such as reading a Web page, searching for information, and bookmarking. In the absence of a universal solution that meets the specific needs of each user, browser developers offer additional programs known as extensions, or add-ons. Among the various browsers that can be modified with add-ons, Mozilla’s Firefox is perhaps the one that first springs to mind; indeed, Mozilla has built the Firefox brand around these extensions. Using this example, and also considering the browsers Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari, the author will attempt to demonstrate the potential of Web browsers in terms of the resources they can offer when they are customizable and available within the working environment of a Knowledge Worker.

Perkembangan penggunaan internet yang semakin banyak setiap tahunnya mengakibatkan penggunaan web browser juga meningkat. Hal ini berdampak pada kejahatan dengan menggunakan web browser juga meningkat seperti penyalahgunaan email, hoax, hate speech, penipuan dan lainnya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya mengenali aktivitas penggunaan web browser dari sisi korban dan pelaku. Penggunaan web browser ini akan menentukan pola atau alur kejahatan pada suatu insiden kejahatan. Hal ini akan membantu penyidik dalam menganalisis bukti digital secara cepat dan dapat mengungkap jenis kejahatan yang terjadi secara baik. Bukti digital yang dianalisis seperti akun, kata kunci pencarian, kunjungan web, dan lainnya. Penelitian ini memberikan penjelasan lokasi penyimpanan bukti digital, format waktu yang digunakan dan 10 tools yang digunakan penyidik dalam mengungkap kejahatan dengan media web browser seperti Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari dan Opera.

Butik Dealove Bondowoso merupakan toko yang menyediakan berbagai macam kebutuhan yang berhubungan dengan pakaian. Sistem penjualan yang ada di butik dialove masih dilakukan secara manual dalam pencatatan barang yang kelur atau dijual. Sehingga masih memiliki berbagai kekurangan dan kendala yang dihadapi. Kendala yang dihadapi yaitu sulitnya mendata banyak barang yang keluar setiap hari, perhitungan stok barang yang tidak akurat, serta proses penjumlahan harga yang sering terjadi kesalahan,peramalan penjualan yang kurang akurat karena dikerjakan secara manual karna belum adanya sistem pendukung untuk mempermudah peramalan penjualan. Permintaan konsumen yang tidak menentu seiring keperluan yang makin tinggi, mengakibatkan kekurangan stok di gudang.Prediksi adalah suatu proses memperkirakan secara sistematis tentang sesuatu yang paling mungkin terjadi di masa depan berdasarkan informasi masa lalu dan sekarang yang dimiliki, agar kesalahannya (selisih antara sesuatu yang terjadi dengan hasil perkiraan) dapat diperkecil. Prediksi tidak harus memberikan jawaban secara pasti kejadian yang akan terjadi, melainkan berusaha untuk mencari jawaban sedekat mungkin yang akan terjadi. Algoritma k-nearest neighbor (k-NN atau KNN) adalah sebuah metode untuk melakukan klasifikasi terhadap objek berdasarkan data pembelajaran yang jaraknya paling dekat dengan objek tersebut.Berdasarkan implmentasi dan pengujian yang dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut. Hasil pengujian fungsional halaman website yang dilakukan pada 3 browser, yaitu Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer dan Google Chrome halaman website berhasil berjalan dengan baik sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa website bisa berjalan baik di ke-3 web browser .Hasil pengujian keakuratan metode menggunkan menggunakan 12 data traning dan 12 data testing diperoleh hasil nilai akurasi 83,3% dan nilai error sebesar 16,7%

At the client layer, the assessment of the user’s QoE is conducted by evaluating the performance of three web browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer). We took the subjective test by conducting different experiments with the users and ask the users to assign ratings on the provided questionnaires, and from those ratings, we calculated results in the form of Mean Opinion Score.

With roughly a third of the world’s population now having access to the internet, the area of web efficiency and its optimal use is of growing importance to all online users. We are approaching a tipping point where the majority of people will have spent more time online than offline. With this in mind, the function of revisitation, where a user wants to return to a website that they have visited in the recent past, becomes more important. Current static, textual-list approaches developed within the latest versions of mainstream web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome leave much to be desired. This chapter suggests a new approach via the use of organic, visual, and contextual cues to support users in this vital task area.

Hiện nay, cơ sở dữ liệu thống kê ở nước ta rất đồ sộ và đã được tin học hóa trong quản lý, tổ chức. Tuy nhiên, các số liệu này chỉ được trình bày, công bố qua dạng bảng số liệu truyền thống. Nghiên cứu nhắm đến việc nâng cao giá trị và hiệu quả sử dụng của dữ liệu thống kê bằng việc thể hiện qua bản đồ và phổ biến rộng rãi dữ liệu này, cụ thể là nghiên cứu xây dựng trang Web Mapping cho phép người sử dụng tương tác để có thể tự tạo ra các bản đồ hiển thị các số liệu thống kê theo không gian một cách trực quan thông qua các phương pháp thể hiện nội dung bản đồ thích hợp. ứng dụng Web Mapping được xây dựng là sự tích hợp của Web Browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome...), Apache Tomcat, UMN Mapserver, MapFish Client, MapFish Server, Hệ quản trị cơ sở dữ liệu PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Với ứng dụng này, người sử dụng có thể chọn chỉ tiêu thống kê quan tâm, sau đó chọn phương pháp thể hiện và các thông số đi kèm như: phương pháp chia nhóm, số nhóm, màu sắc để tạo ra bản đồ kết quả ngay trên môi trường world wide web

<p>Nowadays, web browser tools are seen ıntensıvely durıng the usage of web applıcatıons. Because of that, browsers provıdes ınfrastructure of a largo majorıty of crımes. Because guılty or suspect can use the browsers to collect ınformatıons, to hıde hıs crıme, learn new crımınal methods or to apply they have learned. In thıs study, ıt ıs also seeked answers of how a process can be monıtored on the computers whıch are used on browsers, ın whıch fıles whıch datas are looked and when and whıch sıtes are accessed. Accordıng to research of W3counter web stats tool, Chrome Web browser, whıch has %43 persentage of across the world ın usage, ıs proses as the most demanded browser ın thıs study by users, and ıt ıs scented out ın thıs browser's related fıles. In these days, ''hıdden mode'' whıch take part ın vast majorıty of browsers ıs also examıned. Thıs feature of the browser, whıch ıs receıved reference, ıs tracked by testıng and ıs sought data ın RAM memory and fıle systems. Thus, '' hıdden mode'' effects are dıscussed ın provıdıng studıes about suspect or crımınal posıtıon people, what kınd of data can be obtaıned ın usıng '' hıdden mode” ıs revealed.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Özet</strong></p><p>Günümüzde internet uygulamalarının kullanımı sırasında web tarayıcı araçlarının yoğun bir şekilde kullanımı görülmektedir. Bu nedenle tarayıcılar, işlenen suçların büyük bir çoğunluğuna altyapı sağlar. Çünkü suçlu ya da şüpheli, tarayıcıları bilgi toplamak, suçunu gizlemek, yeni suç metotları öğrenmek ya da öğrendiklerini uygulamak için kullanabilir.  Bu çalışmada da tarayıcıların kullanıldığı bilgisayarlar üzerinde bırakılan izlerin tespitinde nasıl bir süreç izlenebileceği, hangi dosyalarda hangi verilere bakılabileceği ve ne zaman hangi sitelere erişim sağlandığı gibi çeşitli sorulara cevaplar aranmaktadır. w3counter adlı internet istatistik aracının yaptığı araştırmaya göre, dünya genelinde %43'lük bir kullanım alanına sahip olan Chrome web tarayıcısı, kullanıcılar tarafından en çok talep gören tarayıcı olarak bu araştırma içinde referans alınmaktadır ve bu tarayıcıya ait ilgili dosyalarda izler sürülmektedir. Ayrıca günümüz tarayıcıların büyük bir çoğunluğunda yer alan “<strong>gizli mod</strong>” özelliği incelenmektedir.  Referans alınan tarayıcının bu özelliği test edilerek iz sürülmekte, dosya  sistemlerinde ve RAM bellekte veri aranmaktadır.Böylelikle “gizli mod” kullanımında ne tür veriler elde edilebileceği ortaya konarak şüpheli ya da suçlu konumundaki kişilere ait delillendirme çalışmalarında “gizli mod” kullanımının etkileri tartışılmaktadır. </p>


This study aims to: (1) develop a conversion and recognition of prior learning (RPL) model on the vocational teachers’ education in the field of automotive engineering: (2) determine the software quality developed by the functional suitability, efficiency of performance, compatibility, usability, reliability aspects, maintainability, portability, and security testing based on ISO 25010. The method applied in this Research and Development (R & D) is the Brogg and Gall. The results of the study revealed that: (1) the conversion and prior learning recognition (RPL) models on vocational teachers’ education were in accordance with the requirements of the field (2) Test results on the functional suitability scored 10.5 and a mean of 3.45; the efficiency of performance had a score of 9.5 and a mean of 3.15; compatibility scored 8 with a mean of 4; the usability had a score of 19.5 and mean of 3.2; while the reliability aspect had a score of 13.5 and a mean score of 3,37. Furthermore, the conversion and prior learning recognition models are flexible in use and competent. Regarding the portability aspect, it is compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer browsers. It is free from XSS and SQL injection vulnerabilities seen from the security information system.
