One of the 2013 curriculum transformation elements in elementary schools is strengthening the learning process and familiarizing the development of higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) for students.  This needs to be supported by teaching materials to support HOTS-based learning.This research aims to analyze the need for HOTS-based mathematics teaching materials in elementary schools. This research uses a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were fourth-grade students of public elentary school in Tunjungan Blora area. The data collected in this research uses observation sheets, interviews, and document studies. Observations and interviews were carried out to teachers and fourth-grade students. Otherwise, the document studies were carried out on learning resources used in mathematics learning. The validity test data was conducted by using triangulation techniques. The results showed that:  first, the characteristics of mathematics teaching materials used in elementary schools of Blora Regency have not described the HOTS material. Second, the need for teachers shows that the problems faced by teachers in learning mathematics have limited learning resources. Third, the student's need toward teaching material products is shown by the low interest of students in learning mathematics. Fourth, students have not been invited to think critically in learning mathematics.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis Lampungnese etnomatematics. Metode penelitian terdiri dari (1) pengumpulan data; (2) perancangan bahan ajar; (3) pengembangan bahan ajar; (4) validasi I bahan ajar; (5) revisi I hasil validasi; (6) validasi II; (7) revisi II; (8) uji coba produk; (9) revisi akhir dan produksi bahan ajar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV di SDN 3 Kemiling Permai. Hasil validasi bahan ajar dari ahli matematika dan ahli budaya Lampung memberikan skor rata-rata 3,86 yang dikategorikan baik atau layak, sedangkan validasi bahan ajar oleh guru matematika memberikan skor rata-rata 3,95 yang dikategorikan baik atau layak. Pada uji coba kelas kecil diperoleh skor rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 3,72 yang dikategorikan baik atau layak. Kemudian uji coba kelas besar diperoleh skor rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 3,89 yang dikategorikan baik atau layak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar matematika berbasis lampungnese etnomatematics dikategorikan baik dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. This research is based on the lack of mathematics teaching materials that are appropriate to the context in Islamic education institutions like madrasah and pondok pesantren. The goal of this research is to develop teaching materials for mathematics learning through the content of Taqrīb. The type of research used in this research is research and development. Based on the results of the research found that the the topic of mathematics in Taqrīb approaches the arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics. So that the content of Taqrīb can be used as teaching material for learning these branch of mathematics.

This article has intention to develop entrepreneurship-based bilingual media modules on the subject of social arithmetic. This research is classified as research and development that used the ADDIE development model. Data collection technique used validation questionnaire and feedback questionnaire. The data analysis technique of this research used descriptive quantitative to obtain score from validator and students’ feedback. While descriptive qualitative was applied to obtain and describe the data which contains of comment, suggestion and revision, improvement from the validator. Based on the results of the validation, it can be said that entrepreneurship-based bilingual module was eligible and worthy, while from the students’ response and feedback, it can be said that the product was interesting. In conclusion, the bilingual module media can be used and applicable as a mathematics teaching material on the subject of social arithmetic.   Artikel ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan media modul bilingual bergambar berbasis kewirausahaan pada pokok bahasan aritmatika social. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket validasi dan angket respon. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu, deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengolah data dalam bentuk skor dari penilaian oleh validator dan respon siswa, sedangkan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan data berupa komentar saran perbaikan dari validator. Berdasarkan hasil validasi terhadap pengembangan media modul bilingual bergambar berbasis kewirausahaan mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dan berdasarkan angket respon mendapatkan kriteria sangat menarik. Berdasarkan hal ini dapat disimpulkan media modul bilingual yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar matematika pada pokok bahasan aritmatika sosial.
