Lung function tests are useful in assessing the functional status of Respiratory system in both in physiological as well as pathological conditions. These are based on the measurement of volume of air breathed in and out in quite breathing & forced breathing. Air in lungs is classified in to two divisions’ lung volumes & lung capacities. Lung Capacities are the combination of two or more lung volumes. The concept of Rakt Dhatu & Vayu is important in case of respiration because Charaka says that pure blood provides the person with strength, luster & happy life because vital breath follows blood. It represents mechanism of oxygenated & deoxygenated blood & its relation with functioning capacity of Lungs. So In this article attempt has been made to review concepts regarding functions of Rakt Dhatu & Vayu to Establish Lung Function Capacity.

Mosses Herzog is a disappointed middle-aged person. He always led his life in illusion. He is expecting more from his life and wants to lead a happy life with family.  But the things come to pass in his life are entirety fluctuate from his expectations. He spends the majority of his life time in illusion only. He has two wives and he predictable more affection and love from them, he disillusioned when he not get his expectations from them. At one stage he planned to murder his former wife. The protagonist, Professor Mosses Herzog has a tendency to write letters that will never be sent to the famous, the dead, his friends, and his family. A prolific Nobel Laureate Saul Bellow inspected the Moses mind with his unpublished letter. The writer exhibits the dissimilarity linking the expectations and reality of the protagonist life with his notable work Herzog.

The pivotal insight that paved Conrad-Martius’ (1880–1966) (CM) way in elucidating the ontological exclusivity of the I, denoted as “I-adhering being” (Ichhaftes Sein), is that despite its peculiarity and incomparability to any other mode of being, only the ontological foundations of the real being in general might enable a faithful comprehension of the I. The phenomenological interpretation suggested in this article presents CM’s ontological understanding of the I vis-a-vis her philosophy of Being, in particular in regard to three of its general characteristics – existence, intelligibility, and self-adherence (Sichheit/Selbsthaftigkeit) – which provide the critical approach to the ontological study of the I. Finally, the understanding of the ontological exclusivity of the I-adhering being is achieved by means of an explication of the joining together of its typical affinities and discrepancies in regard to Being in general.

According to Upanishadas, food is Brahman, the Divine reality. The physical body itself is born of and lives by food. Right diet is the essence of disease prevention and the foundation of a healthy and happy life. A properly selected diet and diet plan plays a critical importance in the management of any disease. Only a well-balanced diet can cure numerous diseases, sometimes even good medicines are unable to cure certain diseases without balanced diet, that’s why food is said to be most important medicine. Today there is increasing public awareness of the importance of diet for the maintenance and promotion of health. An Ayurvedic text entails the uses of Yava in religious ceremony, dietary and medicinal preparations. Yava is used for Lekhana Karma. The present paper deals with literary review of Yava.

AbstractThe present study provides an analysis of Socrates’ account of the first polis in Republic 2 as a thought experiment and draws attention to the fact that Socrates combines both explanatory and evaluative aspects in his scenario. The paper further shows how the analysis of the city of pigs as a thought experiment can explain the lack of pleonexia by saving both the letter of the text, according to which there are no “pleonectic” desires in the city of pigs, and the fact that the first polis is nonetheless concerned with human beings. For, in contrast to the account offered by Glaucon earlier in Book 2, Socrates highlights our needs and lack of self-sufficiency as well as our compatibility with an advantageous and happy life in a community.
