Localization and navigation not only serve to provide positioning and route guidance information for users, but also are important inputs for vehicle control. This paper investigates the possibility of using odometry to estimate the position and orientation of a vehicle with a wheel individual steering system in omnidirectional parking maneuvers. Vehicle models and sensors have been identified for this application. Several odometry versions are designed using a modular approach, which was developed in this paper to help users to design state estimators. Different odometry versions have been implemented and validated both in the simulation environment and in real driving tests. The evaluated results show that the versions using more models and using state variables in models provide both more accurate and more robust estimation.

Strapdown seekers are superior to platform seekers for their simple structure, high reliability and light weight but cannot measure the line-of-sight angle rate information for the guidance of rotation missile directly. This paper aims at the engineering application of full-strapdown seekers on rotation missile problem. Firstly, a line-of-sight angle rate solution model is established. Based on the MATLAB, the extended Kalman filter (EKF) algorithm and unscented Kalman filter (UKF) algorithm are used to estimate the line-of-sight angle rate information of the full-strapdown seekers. The results show that using EKF filter and UKF filter both can obtain effective guidance information and the UKF’s effect is better.

The growing development of computers triggers the amount of software in different amounts and uses. A system is said to be good when starting planning that can estimate the cost, time and amount of resources needed as a basis for planning a system. So that the estimated cost can be an element in an assessment. The research explains that the Academic Guidance Information System (SIBIMA) which is a system for carrying out student consultation activities with academic advisers at XYZ University. From the software cost estimation results at SIBIMA use Function Point which is a method of estimating software size using an indirect approach or indirect approach to estimate software size in Function Point units (FP), for Effort values on SIBIMA is 379,906 man / hour and it is known that the cost needed in developing SIBIMA is IDR 22,858,705 so that it can be used as a reference if the higher education institution wants to develop a software system

ABSTRACT This study investigates the impact of dissemination on the efficiency of the price discovery process with respect to management earnings guidance disclosures. I first identify firm and guidance characteristics associated with the likelihood that guidance receives coverage in the Dow Jones Newswires. Using propensity score, within-firm, and returns-based matched control samples of guidance, I find that newswire dissemination is associated with larger initial price reactions and, more importantly, an increase in the speed with which guidance information is incorporated into price. I also find that newswire coverage affects the market's reaction to stand-alone versus bundled guidance and good versus bad news guidance. This study is the first to provide evidence of systematic variation, both across and within firms, in the breadth of guidance dissemination, and it shows that this variation has a substantial effect on how investors respond to guidance. JEL Classifications: G14; M41; L82.
