AbstractThe contribution of the AC conductance on admittance spectroscopy measurements on Metal-Insulator-Semiconductor (MIS) devices allows the calculation of the interface traps density and the relevant time constant. Two equivalent model approaches can be applied in order to explain the experimental results. One model is the statistical model based on the Shockley- Read-Hall (S-R-H) recombination statistics and the other one is a model based on the quantum tunneling effect. Recent evidence suggest that the tunneling model can be equivalent to the statistical one if a continuum of states is also considered in the modeling, creating an extended tunneling model. In the present paper, a further investigation on the extended model is attempted. Admittance spectroscopy data were collected for various Insulator/Si combinations, such as SrTiO3 and BaTiO3 deposited on Si. Both the S-R-H based and the extended tunneling models were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the extended tunneling can model the conductance of the device successfully and can calculate the interface states density and the traps time constant.

The aim of this study was to discuss the hysteresis effect of SnO2 pH sensor based on separative extended gate field effect transistor (SEGFET). Based on the theorem of three time-constants model, hysteresis model is linked with drift effect. Function relationship of pH value and time constant is also derived from the drift effects with difference pH value. Besides, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is utilized to interpret the mechanism of hysteresis effect. Experiments of EIS are carried out in different pH buffer solutions. An equivalent model of sensing membrane is obtained by theorem of EIS. The experimental results indicate that the equivalent circuit elements, such as membrane capacitance and membrane resistance, change with pH. This phenomenon is compared with other literatures and discussed on hysteresis effect.

Return voltage diagnostic method is an effective method of non-destructive diagnosis in transformer insulating state. The current study is that through experiments get polarization spectrum to analysis the transformer insulating state, but not yet carried out the influence of various factors to the experimental results. So, based on the Debye model and specific parameters comes from one equivalent model of the actual transformer, this paper using RVM methods to simulation analysis maximum return voltage and dominant time constant under different factors. Simulation results show that the diagnostic methods that combine maximum return voltage value with dominant time constant can preferably reflect the transformer insulation state.

Declarative definition of multimedia presentation such as provided by SMIL standard can be considered as the most significant advance in the multimedia integration domain. However, the requirements of a model that could express richer scenarios for presentations are always a challenge. The work presented here proposes an extended model based on the concept of structured media and sub-elements that allows a finer granularity and a more semantic specification of significant events and locations inside media fragments. The new media fragments can be composed in multimedia scenarios through the specification of temporal, spatial and spatio-temporal relations. Moreover, we propose an abstract animation model that can be combined with the intra-media temporal structuration to specify animation effects in a flexible, not redundant and easy to maintain way. The underlying model is the Madeus model that is a flexible model based on the structural, interval, region and relative constraints. This paper describes the sub-element and the abstract animation models and shows how they are implemented in the Madeus multimedia framework. A complete schema of the video authoring tool based on this model is also specified. Thanks to that, the fine-grained authoring of multimedia scenarios with video media can be done in an easy and effective way.
