ABSTRACTElectrochemical deposition of artificial compositionally modulated superlattices is described. It is shown that the quality of these alloys is comparable or superior to materials produced by vapor deposition or sputtering. The ambient temperature process described by Yahalom has been modified to include a feedback and control system in order to compensate for natural convective disturbances in the electrolyte. Data is presented for copper-nickel samples of varying wavelengths down to 2 nm which suggests that magnetic properties of thin nickel layers are comparable with bulk nickel. Alloys of other types whose properties can be tailored on a near atomic scale will also be discussed along with potential applications.

We prepared magnetic thin films Ni81Fe19on single-crystal Si(001) substrates via single graphene layer through magnetron sputtering for Ni81Fe19and chemical vapor deposition for graphene. Structural investigation showed that crystal quality of Ni81Fe19thin films was significantly improved with insertion of graphene layer compared with that directly grown on Si(001) substrate. Furthermore, saturation magnetization of Ni81Fe19/graphene/Si(001) heterostructure increased to 477 emu/cm3with annealing temperatureTa=400°C, which is much higher than values of Ni81Fe19/Si(001) heterostructures withTaranging from 200°C to 400°C.

ABSTRACTMonte Carlo simulations are used to perform an atomic scale modelling of the magnetic properties of epitaxial exchange-coupled DyFe2/YFe2 superlattices. These samples, extremely well-researched experimentally, are constituted by a hard ferrimagnet DyFe2 and a soft ferrimagnet YFe2 antiferromagnetically coupled. Depending on the layers and on the temperature, the field dependence of the magnetization depth profile is complex. In this work, we reproduce by Monte Carlo simulations hysteresis loops for the net and compound-specific magnetizations at different temperatures, and assess the quality of the results by a direct comparison to experimental hysteresis loops.

The measurement and control system is designed to control the measuring instrument which measures the geometric parameters of rail fastening spring clips. The structure and work principle of the measurement and control system are presented. Nine geometric parameters of a rail fastening spring clip which is installed only one time can be measured atomically. The limited errors of measured parameters are largely smaller than one tenth of the geometric parameter tolerance. It only spends 40 seconds to measure a rail fastening spring clip. It improves the quality of the rail fastening spring clip production and ensures that it is safe and reliably used in railway.

This research is aimed to determine the quality control system of production process in PT Industri Sandang Nusantara unit Patal Secang, measure the efectivity of quality control system by using control P-Chart and determine factors that cause defect product. This research is explorative descriptive by case study method. Data used in this research is the procedure of production process and the number of defect product. Product used in this company is  thread R30/1 UW and R 40/1 UW PT Industri Sandang Nusantara Unit Patal Secang in 24 periods of production between April – Mei 2006. Data is collected by interview, documentation, and observation. Data is analyzed by control p-chart and fish bone diagram. The conclusion of this research are: (1) The quality control system which is consists of controlling raw materials, production process and final product is appropriate with the company’s standard; (2) the number of defect product R 30/1 UW is 26.956 bale with the average 0.0167; Control P Chart shows that there are three periods which are out of control. They are in April 30, Mei 5 and 21, 2006. (3) The number of final product R 40/1 UW is 2159 bale with the average 0.0214; control p-chart shows that there are tw periods which are out of control. They are ini Mei 6 and Mei 12, 2006. (4) Factors that cause defect product are obsolete machines, employee performance, control system, and raw materials. Based on that condition, management should impove the controlling of machines, improve motivation and commitment of the employee, improve the method of inspection and control the quality of raw materials.

Construction is an important industry to determine the development of a country. However, this industry faced delay issues caused by various factors that affect proper construction project. Hence, minimizing delay in construction should be focused on overcoming the delay issue. Thus, the objective of this study is to critically review the main criteria of minimizing delay based on the most significant items that suggested in the previous journals. This paper reviewed 47 journals that studied the issues of delays in construction projects. Through this study, the authors have classified four main criteria for minimizing delays, which are; management, interpersonal, technical and technology. Management ensures the proper manage of time, financial and control system in construction to minimize delay. While, interpersonal promote a good relationship between construction parties, hire of competent and skilled labour and responsibility of the owner to avoiding delay. Besides, technical ensure the quality of project and technology could improve the productivity of construction based on fourth industrial revolution development in the construction field. Thus, this study contributes to construction parties able to focus on elements to overcome the delay issue in they faced and applied the ideas based on the element to minimize delay in the construction project.

ABSTRACTMonitoring and control in epitaxy based on chemical vapor deposition is a challenge created by growth conditions that often preclude more common sensors like thermocouples and mass spectrometry. We report results of experiments to measure and control temperature and flux by non-invasive optical sensing. We have developed a temperature control system with precision and accuracy better that 5°C. Satisfactory control of flux poses difficulties that will require innovative solutions before a useful control system can be developed.

This paper does some researches on the framework and control mechanism of traction and take-up system of Loom, which keep the winding tension constant. A traction and take-up control model using fuzzy neutral network adaptive PID algorithm is designed. The results prove this model is available in constant tension control system. The constant tension control system makes traction and take-up system operate more precisely and improves the quality of fabric.
