Introduction. This article reviews the brief history of palliative care spreading, it also studies specific characteristics of palliative care centers architecture. It also gives attention to the current condition of hospices in our country, and to the problems and opportunities that these hospices face. Materials and methods. Studies consider, firstly, methods of comparative analysis and synthesis of foreign and domestic scientific, literary and design materials; secondly, use of opinion poll findings; thirdly, use of interdisciplinary approach, which takes into account issues in the fields in medicine, sociology, legal regulations, that affect a set of requirements for hospice and palliative care centers design. Results. of the survey are presented as recommendations for the design of hospice territory, their landscaping, architectural planning and architectural-artistic characteristics of hospice design. These results can be used in architectural practice of hospice and palliative care centers design, as well as in the teaching and learning process as guidelines for hospice and palliative care centers design. Conclusions. Basic recommendations for hospice design are introduced. Problem analysis in the context of architectural planning and city planning organization of hospices will help to improve the structure of such architectural objects, and investigate their typology for future evolution. Public involvement in palliative care evolution, and in particular from the point of view of their architectural and spatial design, places an emphasis not only on currently dominating entertainment culture, but also on human duty and dignity.

Showing how ‘modernist cosmopolitanism’ coexisted with an anti-cosmopolitan municipal control this essay looks at the way utopian ideals about breeding better humans entered into new town and city planning in the early twentieth century. An experiment in eugenic garden city planning which took place in Strasbourg, France, in the 1920s provided a model for modern planning that was keenly observed by the international eugenics movement as well as city planners. The comparative approach taken in this essay shows that while core beliefs about degeneration and the importance of eugenics to improve the national ‘body’ were often transnational and cosmopolitan, attempts to implement eugenic beliefs on a practical level were shaped by national and regional circumstances that were on many levels anti-cosmopolitan. As a way of assuaging the tensions between the local and the global, as well as the traditional with the modern, this unique and now forgotten experiment in eugenic city planning aimed to show that both preservation and progress could succeed at the same time.

The aim of the publication is to determine the prerequisites of and to elaborate on the foundations of the Exclusion Zone reintegration in order to address the issue of rational development of urban-planning documentation complex regarding the legitimacy of said territory exploitation. It is established that for the implementation of the «Radioactive waste management strategy» the production complex «Vector» is being constructed on the Exclusion Zone territory; a powerful park of renewable energy generation is being created to implement the «Chornobyl - a Territory of Change» strategy; a Chornobyl Radiation-Ecological Biosphere Reserve was established to support and increase the barrier function of the zone; in order to promote the Safe Chornobyl brand-name, the tourist traffic is being increased and the conditions for the visitors are improving. In the absence of developed and approved city planning documentation, the listed above causes the problem of legitimacy and rationality of the exclusion zone territory use. The paper for the first time raises the question of the need to elaborate the concept of functional planning of the Chornobyl NPP exclusion zone territory and the development of the design-planning complex (urban planning documentation): from the territory.

With the mounting demand of web applications, a number of issues allied to its quality have came in existence. In the meadow of web applications, it is very thorny to develop high quality web applications. A design pattern is a general repeatable solution to a generally stirring problem in software design. It should be noted that design pattern is not a finished product that can be directly transformed into source code. Rather design pattern is a depiction or template that describes how to find solution of a problem that can be used in many different situations. Past research has shown that design patterns greatly improved the execution speed of a software application. Design pattern are classified as creational design patterns, structural design pattern, behavioral design pattern, etc. MVC design pattern is very productive for architecting interactive software systems and web applications. This design pattern is partition-independent, because it is expressed in terms of an interactive application running in a single address space. We will design and analyze an algorithm by using MVC approach to improve the performance of web based application. The objective of our study will be to reduce one of the major object oriented features i.e. coupling between model and view segments of web based application. The implementation for the same will be done in by using .NET framework.
