Numerical realization of the problems of optimal distribution of recreational resources adapted to the continuous non-linear multiproduct problem of optimal partitioning of sets, the solution of which can be interesting in the sense of the development of recreation and tourism, is carried out. The success of most management tasks depends on the best way to use resources. In general, this problem is reduced to the problems of optimal resource allocation. The tasks of this type include the tasks of optimal placement of tourist complexes on a given territory, which is attractive in the sense of the tourism industry. In this case, the models of functioning and development of tourist and recreational systems are considered that can be used for analysis and forecasting of the tourism industry, both at the regional and national and international levels. The problem of the optimal distribution of recreational resources in the conditions of the modern and perspective structure of recreational needs was investigated. A mathematical model of the problem is constructed, which is a nonlinear continuous multi-product problem of the optimal partition of a set into its disjoint subsets (among which there may be empty ones) with fixed coordinates of the centers of these subsets under constraints in the form of equalities and inequalities. An analytical solution of the problem is obtained, which includes parameters that are sought as the optimal solution of the auxiliary dual finite-dimensional optimization problem with a nonsmooth target functional. On the basis of the analytical solution of the problem studied, a theoretically grounded solution algorithm was developed. A numerical investigation of the problem is carried out. The presented research results can serve as a useful tool in the sense of effective optimal partitioning of the functioning zones of existing tourist and recreational facilities that are able to produce service complexes to meet the necessary needs of recreants from the service area in conditions of the optimal cost of recreational needs

In today's global human problem – the COVID-19 pandemic, the optimal resources allocation problem is urgent. Such resources include material, en-ergy, labor, technical, information, financial and others. In turn, resources of each type can be divided into classes. Namely, raw materials can be divided by raw materials types, labor can be divided by professions and qualifications of employees, technical can by technical characteristics, and financial can by sources of funding. The presented problem is devoted to the study of the optimal distribution of resources that correspond to the medical, financial and technical provision of the certain area population. The numerical research of a number of model problems is carried out for the constructed mathematical model of the problem based on the developed theoretically substantiated algorithms of the decision. The presented research results can serve as a useful tool in terms of effective optimal zoning of existing territorial centers, which are able to produce complexes of population during epidemics and meet the needs of consumers in the field of service at the optimal cost of resources. At the same time, if necessary, it is possible to simultaneously solve the problem of optimal placement of such centers.

The article identifies the main aspects of gastronomy tourism in Ukraine and in the world and possible prospects and trends for further development of gastronomy tourism in our country. The variety of gastronomic festivals and tours in the leading regions of the country available in Ukraine are analyzed. Factors and entities of development of gastronomic tourism in each region and the reasons of their uneven application are allocated. The perspective areas of gastronomy tourism development in Ukraine to create a promising and competitive product on the international market of tourist services are outlined. Ukraine as a new tourism destination is increasingly establishing itself on the tourists’ travel map. The information is supplemented by various ratings from international tourist guides, which recommend travelers to turn their eyes to Ukraine. In Ukraine, the tourism industry is in its infancy, but its operation has a significant impact on the economy and is quite promising. Ukraine has very promising conditions and opportunities for activating the tourist capacity, in particular, due to the availability of unique natural and recreational resources, historical and cultural monuments, rich flora and fauna, areas of various forms of recreation, interesting and delicious dishes. Forming the innovation clusters, which are groups of enterprises, firms, organizations, and institutions operating in one (or several related) business area by economic interests and regional characteristics is one of the perspective forms of economic integration and development in the tourism industry of Ukraine. The advantage and novelty of the cluster approach are that it provides significant importance to the microeconomic component, as well as the territorial and social aspects of economic development. In modern conditions, the improvement of methods of organizational, financial, and resource-based support for tourism development at the macro, meso-, and micro levels is highly relevant. The intensification of the tourism companies’ activity should be based on the expansion of the possibilities of regional investment processes management in the specified direction and the combination of efficient state regulation of the economy with market self-regulation.

In next-generation Internet of Things (IoT) deployments, every object such as a wearable device, a smartphone, a vehicle, and even a sensor or an actuator will be provided with a digital counterpart (twin) with the aim of augmenting the physical object’s capabilities and acting on its behalf when interacting with third parties. Moreover, such objects can be able to interact and autonomously establish social relationships according to the Social Internet of Things (SIoT) paradigm. In such a context, the goal of this work is to provide an optimal solution for the social-aware placement of IoT digital twins (DTs) at the network edge, with the twofold aim of reducing the latency (i) between physical devices and corresponding DTs for efficient data exchange, and (ii) among DTs of friend devices to speed-up the service discovery and chaining procedures across the SIoT network. To this aim, we formulate the problem as a mixed-integer linear programming model taking into account limited computing resources in the edge cloud and social relationships among IoT devices.

Functionally graded material (FGM) is well-known as one of the most promising materials in the 21stcentury, which has become the hot issue on its mechanical behavior and composition design. The optimization design of the material distribution properties for an FGM hollow vessel subjected to internal pressure were investigated in this paper. By constructing an exponentially function determining the material properties, the general analytical solution of the stresses of the FGM pressure vessel was given based on the Euler-Cauchy formula. And then, an optimization model for obtaining the optimal material distribution of FGM vessel was proposed coupling the general finite element (FE) code. The discrepancy between the analytical solution and the numerical solution was about 2%, which verified the reliability of the proposed models, and the optimization results also proved the feasibility of proposed optimization scheme because of arriving at the optimal solution in a few iterations. Results obtained would be helpful in designing an FGM pressure vessel.

Environmental concerns, dependency on imported petroleum and lower cost alternative to gasoline always motivated policymakers worldwide to introduce electric vehicles in road transport system as a solution of those problems. The key issue in this system is recharging the electric vehicle batteries before they are exhausted. Thus, the charging station should be carefully located to make sure the vehicle users can access the charging station within its driving range. This paper therefore proposes a multi-objective optimization method for optimal placement of quick charging station. It intends to minimize the integrated cost of grid energy loss and travelling of vehicle to quick charging station. Due to contrary objectives, weighted sum method is assigned to generate reference Pareto optimal front and optimized the overture by genetic algorithm. The results show that the proposed method can find the optimal solution of quick charging station placement that can benefit electric vehicle users and power grid.

Increasing power demand from passive distribution networks has led to deteriorated voltage profiles and increased line flows. This has increased the annual operations and installation costs due to unavoidable reinforcement equipment. This work proposes the reduction in annual costs by optimal placement of capacitors used to alleviate power loss in radial distribution networks (RDNs). The optimization objective function is formulated for the reduction in operation costs by (i) reducing the active and reactive power losses, and (ii) the cost and installation of capacitors, necessary to provide the reactive power support and maintain the voltage profile. Initially, the network buses are ranked according to two loss sensitivity indices (LSIs), i.e., active loss sensitivity with respect to node voltage (LSI1) and reactive power injection (LSI2). The sorted bus list is then fed to the particle swarm optimization (PSO) for solving the objective function. The efficacy of the proposed work is tested on different IEEE standard networks (34 and 85 nodes) for different use cases and load conditions. In use case 1, the values finalized by the algorithm are selected without considering their market availability, whereas in use case 2, market-available capacitor sizes close to the optimal solution are selected. Furthermore, the static and seasonal load profiles are considered. The results are compared with recent methods and have shown significant improvement in terms of annual cost, losses and line flows reduction, and voltage profile.

The main content of the study is the analysis of the interpretation of the term “natural and recreational potential” in its modern understanding, given the increased role of the tourism industry in preserving and building up human potential in the post-pandemic period. The study of this problem against the background of the new Tourism and the Hospitality Industry National Project currently being developed is relevant, since it affects the key component of the natural resource base for the development of the national economy, reveals the strategic prospects for ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the regions of the country with recreational and tourist specialization. The authors conclude that the natural recreational potential is not only the totality of the natural recreational resources of the territory in their quantitative and qualitative representation, but also the prevailing conditions for their use (subjective and objective), latent capacities that can limit or activate the development of tourist activities in the regions. The hierarchical structure of the natural and recreational potential of the region is presented, which includes, in addition to natural recreational resources, a group of factors that affect the efficiency of their use. The paper determines that access to the technological aspects of tourism industry management, using digitalization in the Big Data mode, is a key factor in ensuring the rational and effective use of natural and recreational potential in the creation of regional tourism products, to promote sustainable socio-economic development regions of Russia. In the course of the research, along with general scientific methods, systemic and structural-functional approaches, comparative and retrospective methods of analysis were used.

The paper determines the foundation of formation of a touristic recreational potential of Lviv region. Main contributing factors of development of the tourism industry of the region are investigated. It is established that the largest reserves of recreational resources are located in Drohobych, Zhovkva, Pustomyty, Sokal and Stryj districts. Small amounts of resources are concentrated in Brody, Zhidachiv, Kamenka-Buzka, Mykolayiv, Peremyshlyansk, Radekhiv, Sambir and Turka districts. Tourist routes of Lviv region were estimated. In particular, the most promising ones were evaluated, including the Golden Ring of the Boykivshchyna, the Russky Path – the old way through the Carpathians, Makivka – the mountain of the immortal glory of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen. The correlation-regression relationship between the indicators forming the tourist flows and the main components of the tourism development of the studied region was determined. The level and intensity of current usage of the potential of the region were estimated. SWOT-analysis of touristic and recreational potential of the region was carried out. The study of a touristic and recreational sector of Lviv region has made it possible to establish that its development depends primarily on the advantageous geographical location of the region, rich natural-resource and historical and cultural potential, and the development of touristic and recreational infrastructure. It was established that the region has all the necessary preconditions for the long-term development of cultural-cognitive, scientific-educational, religious, medical, hunting, ecological, business, sports and excursion types of the tourism industry. Particularly important and promising is the development of rural (green) tourism in the region. The development of touristic and recreational sphere of Lviv oblast depends, first and foremost, on the rational use of natural and cultural-historical resources, the reconstruction of sanatoriums and resorts, recreational and touristic establishments, the creation of material and technical base for the development of touristic and recreational industry, promotion of investment attraction, distribution of touristic product on the domestic and world markets and strengthening of international cooperation in the field of tourism and recreation.
