The aim of the article is to analytically present empirical data on the readiness of Ukrainian boarding school graduates for social self-realization in the current socio-economic context. The topicality of this research is determined by the need for scientific and sociological support of further transformations of the boarding school network which is one of the main reforms for the national system of general secondary education. This scientific and sociological support should be based on the study of the educational and social potential of boarding schools, aimed at a thorough analysis of the main indicators of readiness of boarding school graduates for social self-realization in present-day conditions. The results of an empirical study conducted on the basis of 14 boarding schools in Ukraine show that a higher level of readiness for social self-realization is demonstrated by senior students whose basic value system corresponds to the type of postmodern personality, i.e. a person whose life activity is structured according to spiritual, post-material values (development of one's talents, self-realization; interesting and creative work; obtaining higher education; helping other people; living according to religious precepts). The study reveals that these senior students ("postmoderners") go far beyond other boarding school students in their aspiration to accumulate future social capital (gaining respect among people, showing gratitude to others for their help, developing relationships with trusted friends), achieve a higher level of education in their lives, demonstrate a much higher readiness for independent life after leaving their boarding school, have higher trust in their own family, teachers, classmates of their own and the opposite sexes, and have a much higher academic performance at the final stage of gaining general education in a boarding school. Senior students of the postmodern type are less prone to problematic, risky behavioral scenarios in boarding schools (early onset of sexual activity and bullying behavior). The conclusions of the study relate to the possibilities of optimizing the implementation of boarding schools' educational and socialization mission in terms of preparing students, most of whom experience unfavorable social circumstances, for social self-realization in the present-day society. The work provides some conceptual guidelines and practical recommendations for education managers and teachers in terms of aiming educational process in boarding schools at promoting the development of postmodern personality type among their students.

Entrepreneurship development for Islamic boarding school students is now a necessity, especially for the salafiyah Islamic boarding schools. The challenge for santri at the salafiyah Islamic boarding school after graduating from the Islamic boarding school is finding work. It's just that salafiyah Islamic boarding school graduates are only provided with religious education, not including general education. This causes the pesantren students to compete hard for jobs. Becoming an entrepreneur is one of the solutions for salafiyah boarding school students. Before becoming entrepreneurs, it is necessary to socialize what business ideas are suitable for students, especially to increase readiness and interest in entrepreneurship. So that it can create business opportunities in the future.

Many recent policy documents have outlined the challenges of delivering high-quality education in remote First Nations communities and proposed that boarding schools are one important solution. These documents have influenced the increasing uptake of boarding options and there has been considerable public investment in scholarships, residential facilities and transition support. Yet the outcomes of this investment and policy effort are not well understood. The authors of this article came together as a collaboration of researchers who have published about boarding school education for First Nations students to examine the evidence and develop a theory-driven understanding of how policies drive systems to produce both desirable and undesirable outcomes for First Nations boarding school students. We applied complexity theory and post-structural policy analysis techniques and produced a useful tool for the evaluation of boarding policy and its implementation.

Sejalan dengan globalisasi, wajah pesantren  di Indonesia sudah tidak lagi dimonopoli oleh kelompok tradisional atau fundamental-radikal, melainkan  sudah diwarnai oleh pesantren-pesantren baru yang di bentuk oleh kelompok Islam lainnya dengan wajah yang berbeda pula.</p><p>Kata kunci: radikalisme, moderatisme, liberalisme, pesantren, globalisasi</p><p> </p><p><em>RA</em><em>D</em><em>I</em><em>C</em><em>A</em><em>L</em><em>I</em><em>S</em><em>M</em><em>,</em><em> </em><em>M</em><em>O</em><em>D</em><em>E</em><em>RA</em><em>T</em><em>I</em><em>S</em><em>M</em><em>,</em><em> </em><em>A</em><em>N</em><em>D</em><em> </em><em>B</em><em>O</em><em>A</em><em>R</em><em>D</em><em>I</em><em>N</em><em>G</em><em> </em><em>L</em><em>I</em><em>B</em><em>E</em><em>RA</em><em>L</em><em>I</em><em>S</em><em>M </em><em>(</em><em>K</em><em>EE</em><em>P TRACK OF THOUGHT AND BOARDING SCHOOL RELIGIOUS MOVEMENT’S IN THE GLOBALIZATION ERA). They relatively concern about their pride, loyalty, and awareness of foreign language norms as an essential part of the Islamic Boarding School curriculum. It also has an impact on the quality of its acquisition. This study aims to describe the students' behavioral patterns in using foreign languages and their factors. The data was excavated from informants on five Islamic Boarding Schools integrated with stratified random sampling models. Data collection techniques were observations, surveys, and interviews. The obtained data were carefully and critically analyzed based on data reduction, presentation, and verification methods. The results showed that the foreign languages in Islamic Boarding Schools at West Sulawesi are generally used passively because the students’ activities highly focus on improving students’ ability in reading. The emphasis is also on the ability to understand Arabic text. Regarding Islamic Boarding School that applies language development for reading and active communication, sociologically, students use foreign languages only in a small number of linguistic situations and in specific domains, namely education. Culturally, foreign language behavior breeds symptoms of multilingualism, bilingualism, code-switching and code-mixing, monolingualism, and interference in all linguistic situations. It is due to the responsibility, loyalty, and motivation of foreign affairs that are still lacking and the insufficient quality of teachers, environmental conditions, and curriculum content.</span></p></div></div></div>

In the theory and practice of teaching primary school students great deal of attention is paid to the issue of training effectiveness and, in particular, to the issue of cognitive activity’s activation in students. The relevance of this topic can be explained by the fact that introduction of the Federal State Educational Standards of primary general education requires the teacher to know the new forms and methods of educational process organization, which could be feasible and effective in the modern conditions and interesting for children. In this article the author offers an efficient way of application of art-figurative means during the lessons in primary school. Art is the incentive of cognitive activity activation in children. Emotions give personal sense to received knowledge. The author considers the following forms of work with students: modeling of lessons, development of the technological card of a lesson, business game, and master classes. Students master methodical receptions: “transformation” into natural object, ordering of artistic images, and transformation of one art sample into another. The lessons developed by students were approved in practice at elementary school. Teachers noted positive influence of art means on activation of cognitive activity of elementary school pupils.
