The article presents a historical development path of the Laboratory of biochemistry of adaptation and ontogenesis of animals which began with the founding of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Physiology and Biochemistry of Farm Animals in 1960. At the beginning of its existence laboratory was called “The laboratory of higher nervous activity” and was headed by associate professor Dr. I. A. Medyanyk. Since 1962 it was called “The laboratory of neurohumoral regulation” and was headed by Dr. of science, Professor E. M. Berkovych. Since 1963 the laboratory was headed by Dr. of science, Professor Z. P. Skorodynsky. Since 1972 the laboratory was headed by Dr. M. D Hanin, since 1980 — Professor V. M. Holovach, since 1988 — academician of NAAS, Professor V. V. Snitynsky. In 1994 the laboratory was renamed into the laboratory of endocrine regulation. Since 2011 until now the laboratory is called “The laboratory of biochemistry of adaptation and ontogenesis of animals”. From 2011 to 2013 duties of the laboratory head were performed by Dr. O. M. Buchko. From 2013 until now the head of the laboratory is Dr. of science, senior researcher R. Ya. Iskra.

As we progress through life, our needs, desires, and even objectives, change. That certainly has been the case for me over the years. This article is my attempt at distilling what advice I can for someone making a transition from a junior to a senior researcher in the database field: think Associate Professor or someone 5 to 10 years post PhD.

This paper argues that trade specialization played an indispensable role in supporting the Industrial Revolution. We calibrate a two-good and two-sector overlapping generations model for England's historical development and investigate how much different England's development path would have been if it had not globalized in 1840. The open-economy model is able to match the data closely, but the closed-economy model cannot explain the fall in the value of land relative to wages observed in the nineteenth century. Without globalization, the transition period in the British economy would have been considerably longer than that observed in the data and key variables, such as the share of labor force in agriculture, would have converged to figures very distant from the actual ones.

The aim of the work is to analyze the legal status of a senior researcher academic title, some problems  of applying the current legislation in terms of equating the academic title of a senior researcher with the academic  title of an associate professor. The methodology of the work consists of the formal legal method, the method of  interpreting the norms of law, the comparative legal method and the historical and legal method. The paper shows  the identified problems of legal regulation of the position of a senior researcher, the title of which was awarded  by a scientific organization in accordance with the legislation in force at that time. Based on the study of the  genesis of domestic legal regulation of the mechanism for conferring the academic titles of senior researcher and  associate professor, analysis of the provisions of the current sources of law, which are continued in the materials  of law enforcement practice, amendments to the current legislation are proposed that equalize the rights of senior  researchers, the title of which was awarded by state bodies, and those who have been awarded an academic title  by organizations.

Abstract The historical development of the socio-economic, environmental effects of the agglomerating process in the region of Miskolc has remained an unexplored area. The economic crisis and the signs of crisis present in the Miskolc agglomeration too have changed the attitudes of settlements towards agglomerating and suburbanizing processes. These changes also affect the suburbanizing processes in the Miskolc agglomeration, i.e. the intensity of suburbanization is decreasing. The suburbs of Miskolc have become more fragmented and polarized in terms of the society and economy. The geographical separation of high- and low-status suburbs proves the ever-increasing segregation within the metropolitan area.

Due to his personal abilities and great perseverance and ability to work, the ability to unite around him scientists and specialists V. G. Yanovych became a famous organizer of biological and agricultural sciences, prepared a group of scientists and headed the school of physiologists and biochemists on individual animal development. Yanovych Vadym Heorhiyovych was born on December 16, 1930 in the village of Komarivka, Volodarsko-Volynsky (now Khoroshivsky) district, Zhytomyr region. From 1962 to 1965 he was a graduate student of the Laboratory of Age Physiology and Biochemistry of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Physiology and Biochemistry of Farm Animals. V. G. Yanovych research concerns the study of ontogenetic features of lipid, fatty acid and ketone body metabolism in organs and tissues of cattle and pigs; ontogenetic features of lipid and protein metabolism in the created cattle and pigs, development of scientific basic lipid nutrition pigs, cattle, poultry and fish; study of the regularity of quantitative use of amino acids in the synthesis of proteins, lipids, glucose, glycogen and energy processes in the tissues of cattle and rats, given the lipogenic role of amino acids in organs and tissues of animals.
