With rapid advancement of technology, people can roam around the virtual world through the aid of the Internet. One of these advances is a photographic technique called panoramic view where the images are captured with elongated field of view using specialized software or equipments. One popular software for generating panoramic views is Apple Inc.’s QuickTime VR (QTVR). However, iphone Operating System (iOS) does not support the existing QTVR software. Therefore, a low-cost method for generating panoramic views on mobile platform is proposed. The proposed method is to store finite images in an array in order to generate a 360o panoramic view from different angles of the heritage sites. This method can be supported various platforms and can be installed in any mobile device without using intermediate software to convert the image file format. The key aspects of the iOS User Experience (UX) are also explored from the perspectives of Model-View-Control (MVC) strategies. The outcome is 360o cylindrical panoramic views that allow the user to gain a clear vision around historical monuments with standardize iOS interface design on a mobile platform using lower computational cost but with similar quality of production. The results of the evaluation have shown that the application is successfully implemented in George Town, Malaysia.

Nowadays, cultural heritage has been preserved digitally more than physically. However, most of the research works have been focusing more on preservation of video elements even though preservation of audio is equally important. In this paper, the possibilities of generating different sounds in an acoustical heritage through the modulations of sound characteristics are explored on mobile devices. The modulations of the amplitude are based on tiles. In the proposed method, the user uses the one-tap gesture to initiate the start of sound changes on the physical interface of an immersive panoramic view on mobile platform by altering the amplitude of recorded audio piece and consequently producing different audible results. User interactions happen along the x and y-axes following the standard iOS system coordinate. This paper also demonstrates the programming method based on tiles and direct modulations of acoustical heritage in panoramic view with the interaction of the users in order to provide enhanced sensorial audio experience and acoustical engagement in action space on mobile platform. The result of the evaluation has shown that the volume playback has different amplitudes from the different coordinates that the users have tapped on.

Cylindrical panoramic view is a 360-degrees horizontal representation of a certain scene. The user can navigate interactively through the scene and change their view angles. Basically, panoramic views are often high-resolution, high-definition and consume a significant amount of bandwidth for transmission through Internet in mobile platform. In this paper, a method is proposed by combining a proposed tile-based algorithm with scrollViewDidScroll protocol of the iOS platform. With the tile-based algorithm, the panoramic views are divided into tiles and only tiles of interest are viewed on the mobile screen. Besides, the scrollViewDidScroll protocol of the iOS platform is used to link back the end of panoramic view with the start of the panoramic view to produce a cylindrical panoramic view. From here, the user can view the same output as panoramic views on a mobile device but using limited bandwidth, memory, and number of processors. Based on the evaluation, the respondents gave favorable response to the method.

Objectives: Hysterosalpingography and laparoscopy both are the diagnostic methods for assessment of female infertility.  The present study was to compare the evaluation of hysterosalpingography (HSG) versus laparoscopy in determination of tubal factors in female infertility. Methods: Detailed assessment, physical examination and clinical investigations were performed in all 100 infertile female with age 20 years to 40 years. All patients were advised to perform digital HSG. Patients with an abnormal HSG underwent laparoscopy without delay, whereas in patients with a normal HSG, laparoscopy was performed three months after HSG. HSG is best scheduled during the 2nd -5th day interval immediately following the end of menstruation, to minimize risk for infection, avoid interference from intrauterine blood and clot, and to prevent any possibility that the procedure might be performed after conception. Results: Data was analysed by using IBM SPSS version 23 software.  All data was tabulated and percentages were calculated. Mean ± standard deviation was observed. Conclusions: Diagnostic laparoscopy is the gold standard in diagnosing tubal pathology and other intra-abdominal causes of infertility. Other hand, Hysterosalpingography is a frequently utilized diagnostic tool in the assessment of tubal status and detection of uterine anatomical defects in infertility. Hysterosalpingography and laparoscopy are not alternatives but complimentary investigations. But, inadequacy of hysterosalpingography (HSG) in determining the state of tubal patency, emphasizes the need for laparoscopy. Laparoscopy provides both a panoramic view of the pelvic reproductive anatomy and a magnified view of pelvic organs and peritoneal surfaces. Keywords: Female infertility, Tubal patency, HSG, Laparoscopy

Diaspora Theory has affected the literature of every language of the globe with its multiple characteristics. This literature is commonly referred to as Diasporic or Expatriate Literature. Diasporic Literature is a very broad idea and a paragliding term that involves all those literary works published by writers outside their home nation, but these works are linked to indigenous culture and background. All those authors can be considered as diasporic authors in this broad context, who write outside their nation but through their work stayed linked to their homeland. Diasporic literature has its origins in the sense of loss and alienation resulting from migration and expatriation. Diasporic literature generally deals with alienation, displacement, existential rootlessness, nostalgia, identity quest. Migrants suffer from the pain of being away from their homes, their motherland memories, the anguish of leaving behind everything familiar agonizes migrants ' minds. The diasporic Indians, too, are not breaking their ancestral land connection. There is a search for continuity and an astral impulse, an attempt to search for their origins. Settlement in alien territory leads to dislocation for them. Dislocation can be seen as a rupture with the ancient identity. By debating characteristics of expatriate or diasporic literature, the article tried to examine the reflection of Diaspora Theory and its multiple aspects in literature. The Indian contribution to diasporic literature was also evaluated in English.
