Novokuibyshevsk refinery vacuum gasoil (VG) with a high sulfur content (2.02 % wt.) thermocracking results are represented in abstract. Its density is 909.8 kg/m3. Material balance and fractional composition of liquid products cracking and reduction of sulfur containing in every component of it was established. Based on experimentally measured parameters we calculated gas, liquid, coke yields depending on process conditions. The amount of hydrocarbons and resins-asphaltens components increased in the vacuum gasoil cracking products, but these products have lower molecular weight in comparison to initial object. Cracking liquid products composition, which were gained after vacuum gasoil benzoyl peroxide (BP) oxidation pretreatment, specific differences from VG thermolysis products with BP used as radical forming addition were established.

Hydrogenation of phenanthrene (PHE HYD) was investigated over a commercial NiW/Al2O3catalyst under practical reaction conditions. GC-MS analysis was utilized to identify the numerous products formed during PHE HYD. The products included dihydrophenanthrene (DHP), 1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophenanthrene (THP), sym-octahydrophenanthrene (1,8-OHP), asym-octahydrophenanthrene (1,10-OHP) and perhydrophenanthrene (PHP), but the cracking products were not found under the reaction conditions. The effects of operating conditions such as temperature, pressure and H2/liquor on PHE HYD were tested in detail. It is found that temperature and pressure had remarkable effect on PHE HYD, but volume ratio of H2/liquor had little effect on PHE HYD at the observation range. The addition of decalin had a positive impact on PHE HYD; it could increase the conversion of PHE and the selectivity to PHP.

This research deals with the study of the paraffin cracking reaction with termal reaction, active natural zeolite (ZAA) and NiMo / active natural zeolite (ZAA) catalyst. Temperature variation was done in order to study the optimum temperature of paraffin cracking reactions. Paraffin cracking reaction carried out at temperatures of 200 - 400 °C and a hydrogen flow rate of 30 mL / min. Cracking products obtained, and then analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GCMS). Catalyst activity (%) was defined as the amount of lighter fractions/the amount of feed (paraffin) (%). The results showed that the catalyst NiMo/ZAA has the highest activity (31.33 %) at the cracking reaction temperature of 300 ºC

Today the stable work of a petrochemical plant and its installations, as well as its efficiency, mostly depends on the reliable and optimal operation of technological equipment. It is very common that technological equipment complexes do not work in an optimal mode, despite the fact that they are controlled by modern automated control systems. If the equipment is stopped for any reason, then no best technology or management systems can compensate for the economic costs and losses that arise in the event of equipment downtime. The solution to this problem is to create computer models that allow you to cover the technological equipment from a single point of view and conduct a number of necessary experiments without resorting to existing equipment. The computer model of the rectification unit is implemented when modeling the section of the technological scheme for the production of liquid fuel of the vacuum gasoil hydrocracking unit.
