Purpose: The use of technology (e.g., telehealth) in clinical settings has rapidly increased and its use in research settings continues to grow. The aim of this report is to provide detailed methods for conducting a multi-timepoint (test-retest) virtual paradigm, assessing lifestyle, physiological, cognitive, and linguistic factors in persons with and without aphasia. Methods: Procedures for virtual assessment are detailed in a sample of non-brain damaged adults (NB; N=24) and persons with aphasia (PWA; N=9) on a test-retest paradigm (data collection approximately 10 +/- 3 days apart). This report provides practical information about pre-assessment (e.g. recruitment, scheduling), assessment (e.g. aphasia-friendly consent presentation, investigator fidelity), and post-assessment (e.g. data storage, quality check) procedures for human behavior research using a virtual platform. Results: Preliminary study data is provided, demonstrating high retention rates and feasibility. Common technological troubles and solutions are discussed, and solutions offered. The results suggest that our pre-assessment, assessment, and post-assessment procedures were core to the success of our study. Conclusion: We provide practical methodology for conducting a multi-timepoint study, with considerations for persons with aphasia, adding to the body of research on telehealth in clinical populations. Future studies should continue to evaluate tele-methodology, which may be core for diversifying studies, improving study retention, and enrolling larger sample sizes.

Otomycosis denotes diffuse otitis externa due to fungal infections. The fungii are usually secondary invaders of the tissue rendered susceptible by bacterial infection, physical injury or excessive accumulation of cerumen in the external auditory canal. Karnasraava means discharge from ear which can be correlated with otorrhoea. Karnasraava (discharge) is one of symptom of otomycosis. Arka Taila has been mentioned in Shaarangadhara is very simple formula having ingredients i.e. Haridraa (Curcuma longa), Arka Patra Swarasa (Calotropis procera) and Sarshapa Taila (Brassica campetries). The quality control parameters resulted after scientific evaluation of Arka Taila can be used as reference standard for quality control or quality assurance of a pharmaceutical industry in order to have a proper quality check over its preparation and processing.

Transfer alignment is the process of initialising and calibrating a weapon INS using data from the host aircraft's navigation system. To determine which transfer alignment technique performs best, different design options have been assessed, supported by simulation work. The dependence of transfer alignment performance on environmental factors, such as manoeuvres, alignment duration, lever arm and inertial sensor quality has also been studied. ‘Rapid’ alignment, using attitude as well as velocity measurements was found to perform better than ‘conventional’ techniques using only velocity. Innovative developments include the estimation of additional acceleration and gyro states and estimation of force dependent relative orientation, which has enabled robust alignment using wing rock manoeuvres, which do not require the pilot to change trajectory. Transfer alignment has been verified in real-time by flight trials on a Tornado aircraft. In addition, techniques have been developed to prevent transients in the aircraft integrated navigation solution following GPS re-acquisition after an outage of several minutes from disrupting the transfer alignment process.

An operation theatre is any facility within a hospital domain where the surgical procedures are carried out in a strict sterile cosmos. Management of the operation theatre requires the coordination of humane and material resources in such a way that surgery can be performed safely, efficiently and cost effectively. Objective: To identify the difficulties in coordination of operating room management and find out their solutions for better patient outcomes. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted in Main Operation Theatre of Children Hospital and Institute of Child Health Lahore. Data was collected by using Convenient Sampling Technique. This was a hospital-based study in which staff members of both genders were included. The study population divided into four strata; doctors (surgeons and anesthetists), nurses, operation theatre technicians and anesthesia technicians. A total of 51 cases were observed and checked by a checklist about coordination diffculties in the management of operation theatre. Results: A total of 51 cases were studied to determine the difficulties in management of operation theatre. 25.22% cases showed difficulty in proper management of Operation Theater. This result showed that there are still some difficulties like insufficient and old equipments, absence of proper sterilization, lack of proper leadership, work overload, no quality check of equipments, no teaching program, and unpunctuality of staff, improper timing and organization in the operation theater. Conclusions: There are many difficulties in management of operation theatre regarding staff members, equipments, timings and sterilization. A proper leadership and organization can sort out these problems.

Resilient modulus, , is an important parameter for designing pavements. However, its determination by resorting to cyclic triaxial tests is tedious and time consuming. Moreover, empirical relationships, correlating to various other material properties (namely, California Bearing Ratio, CBR; Limerock Bearing Ratio, LBR; R-value and the Soil Support Value, SSV), give vast variation in the estimated results. With this in view, an electronic circuitry, which employs bender and extender elements (i.e., piezo-ceramic elements), was developed. Details of the circuitry and the testing methodology adopted for this purpose are presented in this paper. This methodology helps in determining the resilient modulus of the material quite precisely. Further, it is believed that this methodology would be quite useful to engineers and technologists for conducting quality check of the pavements, quite rapidly and easily.
