In this present work it is given an opinion for a new approach to guitar teaching philosophy in a sufficiently sophisticated way, which surpasses up to now all known looks. With a goal to shed light on this important topic, this work will introduce a new guitar teaching philosophy on the virtue of musical-aesthetical knowledge of classical guitar music. With the intention to better understand this approach, emphasis is made throughout the prismof the guitar experience and from the viewpoint of new needs of classical guitar study.

In recent years — and especially since the 2016 presidential election — numerous media organizations, newspapers, and policy advocates have made efforts to help Americans become more careful consumers of the information they see online. In K-12 and higher education, the main approach has been to provide students with checklists they can use to assess the credibility of individual websites. However, the checklist approach is outdated. It would be far better to teach young people to follow the lead of professional fact-checkers: When confronted by a new and unfamiliar website, they begin by looking elsewhere on the web, searching for any information that might shed light on who created the site in question and for what purpose.

Analytical modeling and numerical simulation of multiphysics coupled systems is an exciting research area, even when it comes to intrinsically linear or linearized formulations, as is usually the case with coupled vibroacoustic problems. The combined effect of many localized geometrical miss-modeling with significant uncertainty in mechanical characterization of some organic materials yields large discrepancies in the natural frequencies and mode shapes obtained. The main goal of this work is to compare two basic approaches for the modeling of stringed musical instruments in the frequency domain: simplified lumped-parameter analytic modeling, considering only the most influential degrees of freedom, and discretized finite element modal analysis. Thus, the emphasis is on a review of some key references in this field, including previous work by the authors, which may shed light on some of the most relevant issues surrounding this problem.

The purpose of this article is to argue that exploring the role of television in family life is not solely a matter of studying its effects on family members; it also involves looking at TV as a phenomenon that serves a whole range of social purposes the study of which can shed light on general family functioning. In this review, existing theoretical models and research are discussed in order to show why a new model—family systems—is being proposed. The application of the family systems model to the arena of television use in the family is one that has not been previously explored. Emphasis will be placed on two family systems principles that are important in the study of the family's use of and interaction around television. Current measurement techniques will be examined to illustrate that a new approach, reflecting interaction and process, is needed. Components of a family systems model—structure, development, and adaptation—are adapted in order to discuss TV's function in the family. Suggestions for future research and implications for therapy are offered.

Abstract This paper argues that works of popular culture, specifically horror films, offer valuable insights into dominant and critical perceptions of the sources of violence in ongoing armed conflicts—an issue of concern for scholars of International Relations (IR) scholars, which as yet has not received sufficient attention. Accordingly, we present a new approach that IR scholars can utilize in their analysis of works of popular culture, applying it to two recent horror films from Israel/Palestine: Cannon Fodder (2013, dir. Eitan Gafny) and Freak Out (2015, dir. Boaz Armoni). The analysis of these films, combined with a discussion of films dealing with violence from other contexts, reveals how works of popular culture in general, and horror films in particular, can help address the question of whether violence in armed conflicts is perceived as endogenous or exogenous to the groups involved. This can also shed light on specific issues, such as the connection between social representation and violence, the link between the use of military technology and violence, and the blurred boundaries between endogenous and exogenous sources of violence.

SummaryJuxtaposing the important insights of previous multilevel research, the following overarching question emerges as the central concern of this article: How do emergent processes and top- management initiatives affect the impact of organizational creativity on organizational effectiveness? To shed light on this question, I direct attention to bottom-up emergent processes and top-down management initiatives, which, I argue, offers important opportunities for the genesis of additional creativity effects. In all, the purpose of this article has been to address to recent theories and debates about the nature of organizational creativity and to highlight the crude beginnings of an alternative, multilevel approach. I explore how the dimensions of organizational creativity generated through emergent processes and top management initiatives plays a significant role in the leveraging organizational effectiveness.

AbstractThe paper analyses the situation of teaching materials in technical schools in Romania via a marketing research that takes into account stakeholders, the microenvironment, as well as the macroenvironment. The research has shed light on a number of problems that require a new approach to the design of educational tools. The paper proposes that this design of educational tools be performed through the product lifecycle management (PLM) perspective. All phases of the design and lifecycle of such products are analysed, and concrete solutions for realising each of these phases are proposed. Finally, some examples of educational products are presented, which have the purpose of aiding the teaching of technical drawing, and which have been devised using this very methodology.

Abstract Since the establishment of the Schengen area, border management has been having momentum within the European Union (EU) and, one of its major building blocks is the common policy on visas. This allows to control who can have access to the Schengen area for short stays that do not exceed three months over any six-month period. This article investigates how the EU visa policy has been influenced by the ever-evolving migratory dynamics towards the EU. Focusing on the latest reform of the Common Code on Visa, which has entered into force in 2020, this article argues that the new approach to conditionality in EU migration law has consolidated the intertwining between the EU visa policy and cooperation on readmission. Over the years, the latter has constituted an incentive for the EU in order to offer visa facilitation regimes or specific visa waivers to nationals of third countries. However, this article criticizes the new mechanism, introduced by the recent reform, and providing the European Commission with the mandate to propose specific restrictive measures related to visa processing and visa fee in case of a lack of cooperation especially on readmission. In an attempt to shed light on the legal concerns raised by this mechanism, the paper concludes that it even emphasises the discriminatory effects of the EU visa policy and, more generally, it impacts on the cooperation with third countries within the EU General Approach to Migration and Mobility.

In the Sultanate of Oman, as well as many other countries around the world, the treatment of prisoners underwent many similar stages of change. The most popular form of punishment was inflicting bodily harm, a punishment solely based on condemning the convicted more than enforcing actual reform and change. This approach in return created an atmosphere of lack of education and knowledge in the prison system, however this situation changed when a new era dawned on the Sultanate, on the 23rd of November 1970, led by His Highness Sultan Qaboos bin Said, providing a new approach to the system of prisons and rule of punishments. This change was brought forth and delegated by the country’s Penal Code 1974/7, Prison Law 94/48, Penal Code Procedures 1999/97s and the Prison law implementing regulations guide 2009/56 on the enforcement of penalties. This research will shed light on the issue of claiming the right to litigate as a fundamental right for prisoners when serving their sentence as the right to bring forth a legal action is one of the most important civil rights a prisoner can have when serving their sentence; a right that is also embedded in the country’s basic statue for every citizen and resident. This involves giving the prisoner access to contact judicial authorities or a defense representative. The research will approach this matter as a whole by clarifying the main issue and factors involved with reference to the law. The research is divided into three main discussion areas, the first being the prisoner’s right to contact judicial authorities for defense during the enforcement of their penalty. The second area will study the prisoner’s right on interpleading in penal enforcement, whilst the third will examine the prisoner’s right to appeal Supreme Court, the right to judicial review made while the prisoner is still serving their current sentence. The research will conclude with my findings as well as recommendations.

The publication of the Brundtland report in 1987 introduced the concept of sustainable development, placing “sustainability” as a unifying idea for all academic disciplines. Consequently, in the tourism sector, sustainable tourism emerged as a new approach to research in the field. Since then, the body of literature on sustainable tourism has only increased, as has the discussion around the conceptual structure of sustainable tourism among academics and professionals. The aim of the study is to complement this theoretical discussion with an inductive approach to the limits of the conceptual structure of sustainable tourism. To do so, we identify the main research topics in the field and their evolution in the past 32 years through bibliometric methods such as evaluative techniques, relational techniques, and visualization of bibliometric data techniques using the VOSviewer program. The results of the study reflect that the sustainable tourism has reached a complexity that is reflected in its current polyhedral content to function as a conceptual umbrella. In addition, it demonstrates that the bibliometric analysis is an adequate and useful methodology for academics and professionals involved in the academic debate around this field of knowledge.
