This study assesses learner perceptions of a blended e-learning system (BELS) and the feasibility of accommodating educational hypermedia systems (EHSs) according to learning styles using a modified version of the technology acceptance model (TAM). Recently, Moodle has been adopted by an Iraqi university alongside face-to-face (F2F) classrooms to provide flexible learning and improve understanding. Based on TAM, individual differences and perceptions were explored in relationships between learner satisfaction and technology adoption. The model was extended to include e-learning self-efficacy, perceived satisfaction, and learning styles. Although other variables can be integrated, the proposed framework is to investigate the effect of learning styles in predicting satisfaction and BELS acceptance. A total of 210 undergraduate students voluntarily took part in the research. Data was gathered using a survey instrument and the Index of Learning Styles (ILS) Questionnaire. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) technique was used to examine the path associated between dependent and independent constructs. Unlike prior TAM literature, this research highlights the integration of perceived satisfaction and technology acceptance in accordance with psychological traits and learner beliefs. Overall, the model achieved an acceptable fit and successfully integrated intention to use (ITU) and perceived satisfaction (PS). However, psychological differences did not indicate positive impacts on learner satisfaction and e-learning adoption.

The present study validated the general extended technology acceptance model for e-learning (GETAMEL) with the survey data from the English as a foreign language (EFL) online class during the novel coronavirus lockdown period. A total of 678 undergraduates participated in the survey. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze the data. The results showed that the influence of perceived usefulness of students on their intentional behavior to use the online learning system was not mediated by their attitude, indicating a very limited role of attitude toward technology in the model. Enjoyment and self-efficacy had no significant effects on the internal constructs, raising theoretical concerns on the applicability of this general model into specific contexts. In addition, we found that experience might be a moderator rather than an antecedent of the internal constructs in the model.

Purpose -Response to the sudden pandemic, COVID-19 drastic shift of work practices requires the implementation of an e-learning system, but their adoption requires a thorough understanding of the user acceptance process. Our key effort is to incorporate a framework, “internet experience” to determine the existing Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) applicability in describing students’ s e-learning decisions in Haryana state. Design/methodology- The researcher has administered a questionnaire based on TAM’s constructs and collected data from UG and PG students of Haryana state of India. Findings – The results revealed that perceived usefulness (PU) has a significant positive relationship with continuous usage intention (CUI) whilst, perceived ease of use (PEOU), computer self-efficacy (CSE) and internet experience (IE) have not. Attitude towards E-learning system (ATELS) has found no relevance in this model. Originality/value Majority research has been done using the TAM model in a developed nation. Empirical study has not been done in Haryana state so far.

The learning with e-learning is not only due to aspects of the development of information technology but also due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced all levels of society to adhere to the New Normal way of life. Elearning is a solution for learning in this pandemic era. This study will examine the analysis of learning management with Eleaning at Duta Bangsa University Surakarta with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive research approach with research respondents consisting of 25 lecturers and 48 students. Research data collection was carried out using an online questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 16 questions which are the elaboration of 8 items of user satisfaction parameters in the use of the Elearning System. The eight items are Content, Format, Accuracy, Timeliness, Ease of Use, User Attitudes Towards Systems, Organizational Support and Perceived Attitude of Top Management. The results of testing and data processing, both data from lecturers and students, are normally distributed, with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The results of testing the data related to the 16 questionnaire questions also show that the data is valid and reliable. User satisfaction with the implementation of learning through the Elearning System during the Covid-19 pandemic is quite high, above 75% strongly agree, even from 8 items, 7 items on average are above 80% strongly agree. From the results of data processing per item, an average of 4.15 was obtained for lecturer respondents, which means that acceptance strongly agrees with the E-learning system around 83.0%. For student respondents the average is 4.11, which means that the acceptance of the E-learning system is 82.2%. Content occupies the highest satisfaction score of 89.2% for lecturers and 86.2% for students. While the lowest level of satisfaction is organizational support, the satisfaction rate for lecturers is 76.4% and students are 77.8%.

E-learning in higher education is a technique to improve learning and teaching experience, and as a tool to educate students through digital media, with or without the guidance of their instructors. STMIK BI Balikpapan has been using it since 2015, but its implementation has not been as optimal as expected. The research aims to identify the factors that influence the success of the application of e-learning in STMIK BI Balikpapan by referring to the model adopted from TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and TOE (technological, organizational and environment). The research respondents were 94 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) through the Smart PLS program. The results showed that of the four hypotheses tested, one hypotheses had significant influence (habits) and the other three hypotheses were not significant (connections, motivation and facility).

This study seeks to investigate the effect of controllability and responsiveness on the perceived ease of e-learning use. This study also aims to determine the relationship between the perceived ease of e-learning use and the student’s intention to participate in e- learning. This study extends the technology acceptance model by considering the external factors; controllability and responsiveness of e-learning system. Thirty-one students from Bung Hatta University were selected as research objects for this study, and three hypotheses were developed. SEM-PLS was applied to analyze the data and smart-pls 3.2.7 software was used to reject the null hypotheses. Having had a satisfied convergent and discriminant validity, this study demonstrates that the controllability and responsiveness of an e-learning system does not have a significant effect on the perceived ease of e-learning use. However, the relationship between the perceived ease of e-learning use and the students’ intention to participate in e-learning is significantly positive. The practical and theoretical implications are discussed in this paper.

Technological developments in the field of education have paved the way for e-learning. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and online certification courses have become widely popular among students especially those in higher education. Today, E-learning platforms have provided the end users the opportunity to pursue online certifications, gain knowledge and skills, and learn from experts in different fields from the comfort of their homes. Students are an important stakeholder in this knowledge transfer process. Therefore, it is important to understand their attitude towards e learning and their expectation from such platforms. This paper attempts to study the concept of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in e-learning among undergraduate students in India to understand their perception and behaviour towards e-learning. The main research methods used were: the questionnaire for primary data collection, journals and research articles for secondary data collection. Excel and Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) were used to process the collected data, test the hypotheses, statistical analysis, analyse the results and achieve research objectives. Microsoft Word was used for textual representation of final results and interpretations. Hypothetical model based on TAM was framed and six research variables were identified for the study: Perceived Usefulness, Capability, Perceived ease-of-use, Intention to Use, Trustworthiness, Actual Use. The research helped to understand the components of TAM, analyse and identify the relation between TAM and E learning, and revealed that undergraduate students in India have positive perception of E-learning.
