This work demonstrates that the use of laboratories for the development of curricular work in the area of information technology exclusively supported by cloud computing technology does not decrease the level of learning and assessment objects on the part of students. This scenario arose due to the need to interrupt face-to-face classes in physical laboratories due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The study had as universe a master's degree in Computer Science.

In this study we consider such a nonalphabetical sign of Russian orthography, as the hyphen, which was field of increased focus of the famous Kazakh scientist N.I. Gainullina. Attention is drawn to the fact that in the written works of today’s bachelor’s, master’s degree student and even postgraduate students are confused three characters: a dash as a punctuation mark, a hyphen as a sign of orthography and em dash, or “long dash”, which appeared as a result of the development of information technology and computer-network topics, the so-called “Internet” “long dash”. Based on the material of examples of writing Russian toponyms found that among the currently existing recommendations on the use of hyphen and contained in the current, known to all Russian speakers set of orthographic rules, there is no clear notation that would provide for its use for the division of complex toponyms; we highlight the reasons for the unresolved spelling of complex toponyms. It has been established that the “expressive purposes” of the hyphen usage, the statement of which contradicts the traditional spelling of the word, and it is proved that the use of the hyphen in various texts should be considered as a manifestation of the individual author’s handwriting features, when the main goal of the author of the text is achieved-to convey the proposed subtleties of the meaning of words and the elegance of the formula of self – expression.

The Covid-19 pandemic makes massive use of information technology (IT) in various fields. This study aims to evaluate the use of IT in Computer Networks lectures at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Riau in the era of Covid-19 Pandemic. This causal comparative study uses data from the results of student achievement in the Even Semester Academic Year 2019/2020. There are two lecture models given to students namely synchronous and asynchronous models. The use of the model is based on the type of lecture material provided. Furthermore, the results of student achievement obtained at the end of the semester are compared with the results of student achievement in the previous year that used physical face-to-face lectures. The results of this study indicate that there was an increase of 7.17% in the student achievement during the use of IT in lectures during the Covid-19 Pandemic with the effective synchronous lectures duration from 60 to 100 minutes.

This case presents a cloud computing technology solution that gives promise to a company devastated by a natural disaster. After a hurricane, the company recovered because of a solid disaster recovery plan, although it was financially strapped. The Vice President of Information Technology suggested using cloud computing to cut internal information technology costs. With a cloud computing solution, the IT department would go from twelve people to six. IT infrastructure (servers, hardware, programs, processing) would be done by a vendor (“the cloud”), although responsibility for information technology would be retained by the company. The case presents a background in cloud computing and cloudonomics. As the case unfolds, the authors find that proper oversight was neglected; rash decisions were made; and a crisis developed. The president took matters into his own hands, and without following proper protocols, selected a vendor that later went bankrupt and forced the company into dire circumstances.

Recently researchers have shown an increased interest in cloud computing technology. It is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore cloud computing technology in education context. However rapid changes in information technology are having a serious effect on teaching framework designs. So far, however, there has been little discussion about cloud computing benefits in domains of teaching frameworks which propels us to study and redesign teaching frameworks considering cloud computing. The purpose of this paper is to review recent research into cloud computing and features which can be improved with this new technology. This paper studied several researches through literature to determine the main impact of cloud computing on “planning and preparation” and “instruction” domains as two main domains of teaching framework. Light will be then shed on the impact and potential benefits of cloud computing on teaching framework. The paper closes by proposing to design an evaluation table based on cloud computing artifacts to enhance teaching practice and highlights its offerings for educational institutions.

There has been rapid expansion of the information technology due to contribution to emission of carbon dioxide. The cloud computing technology has been perceived to present solution to various studies that try to investigate on the most appropriate ways of reducing the carbon dioxide gas emissions. The current study aimed at investigating the adoption of virtualization in cloud computing as a means through which the green computing can be achieved. According to the paper virtualization among its many process helps in curtailing equipment required through cloud computing resources to facilitate adequate use of resources to make use of energy and assets.

Method: a qualitative, descriptive, experience-based study focused on the contribution of Warmup, a component of the Just in Time Teaching method, in the planning and execution of a seminar on the discipline of the Master's Degree in Nursing with a class of 11 students. Results: experiments were described on responses to Warmup and influences on classroom adjustment; the Warmup - possibilities and limits of experience. The responses of the students were analyzed and the answers were identified as shallow answers and a primary knowledge. Conclusion: with the Warmup, the students were given the opportunity to develop, reach the maximum of knowledge, strengthen their professional training and improve their prior knowledge, and developed the necessary skills to perform in the areas of Nursing a critical, reflective and creative way. Descriptors: Methodology; Nursing Education; Warmup; Strategies; Information Technology; Informatics in Nursing.RESUMENObjetivo: describir el uso del Warmup, en el método Just in Time Teaching, con base en la experiencia vivida durante el seminario de asignatura de la maestría. The findings of this research allow to assume that after lockdown it might be worth reconsidering the format of learning for Master’s Degree Programs and shift from conventional face-to-face learning to blended or even distance learning.
